"Where the hell am I?" A small child around the age of five mumbled to himself as he sat up from the bed he was just sleeping on, there was three other beds in the room along with three other children still sleeping in them.
The boy had dark black, thick and wavy hair, bright blue eyes and he was quite skinny and tall for his age, his face lacking a lot of the baby fat that it should have for a boy his age, it was a sign of the environment he currently was forced to lived in; showing that he often went hungry.
The boy looked around at the room he had woken up, he saw the other boys that seemed to be sharing the room with him but he decided to forget about them for now as they were still asleep, he continued to look around and saw that the room wasn't in the best of states, the walls were covered in ripped wallpaper and it was peeling away in places, under the wallpaper there was signs of mould and worn down paint that made it look like the walls have been washed multiple time, probably to try and get rid of the mould, the boy thought to himself.
He then got up quietly and moved over to the window to see what he could find out from looking out onto the street down below, the first thing he noticed of course was that it was still night but there was street lights on so it was probably around midnight, closer to one if the amount of traffic was anything to go by, the streets reminded him of London, that's where he would assume he was until finding out otherwise.
He then took a step back from the window, he was going to continue to look around the rest of the room but he stopped suddenly when he caught his reflection in the window, "That's not my face... " He said to himself silently as he started touching his face with his hands and he watched as his reflection did the same meaning that it was indeed his reflection, "I look like a young Jon Snow."
After taking a moment to take that in he the brought his hands back down and looked at them closely, turning his right hand over so he was looking at the back of it, "I don't have my scar anymore." He was talking around he scar he got on the back his right hand, between the knuckles of his first and second finger, he often said that it looked like a scar from wolverine claws breaking the skin when in fact it was caused by a tuna can lid cutting him when he was pushing down the recycling in the bin to make more room, he didn't even realize he had been cut until his mother had pointed it out to him, angry at him for bleeding everywhere.
"That's a shame, I was already used to that scar. But this just proves it even further, I've been reincarnated. I'm just not sure who I've been reincarnated into or where." He spoke to himself calmly, going back to his bed and the things he spotted underneath it.
Completely skipping past the fact that he had been reborn, which meant that he would of had to die, a realisation that seemed impossible unless for those that had been brought back to life on the operating table, and he decided to just moved passed it like yesterdays news.
He pulled out the two small cardboard boxes that were underneath the bed he woke up on and opened then up to see what was inside, hopefully it would have some clues as to who he was now, a name written down on something at least.
One box contained small toys, they were quite old fashioned and looked to be pretty old as well, but nothing to point him towards an identity.
The other box contained a few books, a couple pictures and a realistic dragon figure that was about 2" tall and 5" long, the dragon was a very realistic figure, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a real one and the small one in his hand.
"This actually reminds me of the charmed dragon figures that were used in the first task of the Triwizard Tournament, so they could decide which dragon the champions would be facing, I think that this is a Hungarian Horntail if I'm not wrong." He said to himself silently before he put the dragon figure back into the box alongside the books, exchanging the figure for some pictures.
Looking through them briefly he quickly noticed that they were all of this one black haired woman, often of her in a leather jacket next to a motorcycle, "This is probably my new mother." He said briefly before looking around the room again and then looking back at the picture, "But it seems that I'm at an orphanage so I won't have to worry about her and I can't replace my own original mother either so it's probably better this way." He said seriously, and he then went back to looking at the pictures.
He stopped at one of his new mother and a man with long, wavy brown hair, they were both leaning against a motorcycle with happy smiles on their faces, "Okay, this is either my uncle, my mother's friend or my new father." He said to himself before he turned the picture over so he could see the back. Luckily there was something written on it, 'Sirius Black & Isabella White, 1978'.
"Fuck! I'm in the Potter-verse aren't I?" He asked himself already knowing the answer, "Well at least I'll be able to make and collect things I like from this verse, the Sorting hat and the four founders items are a must, be there's so much more in this verse that I can make use of, for example the moving tattoo's. Voldemort lacked too much imagination with the dark mark and you could say it's a good things I've been spoilt with what tattoo's become in the future, but if I can adapt it to magic, hahaha! I'm getting giddy just thinking about what I could get up to with enchanting as well." He began laughing, not caring about the sleeping children around him, when suddenly a pillow was thrown at his head, "Shut up Logan! I'm trying to sleep!" One of the children in the beds next to him shouted out, the reborn boy now known as Logan White threw back the pillow saying a small apology at the same time.
Logan then put the pictures back in the box, and returned the box to the underneath his bed, climbing back into it soon after, 'If I am Black's son then I'll have some access to the family vaults, I need to get to Diagon Alley soon, If I remember correctly from all the Harry Potter fanfictions I read then the Leaky Cauldron should be on Charing Cross Road in London.' He thought to himself before finally going back to sleep, to get some rest, his new body lacked greatly compared to his old one but that was to be expected for a 5 or 6 year old.
-
"Can I help you Lad?" The man behind the bar asked Logan, leaning over the counter just to see him.
"Can you open the passage for me Tom?" Logan asked Tom, he was a bald man with slightly pointed ears and a giant hunch in his back, his clothes were also all black and looked strained against his deformity, "Alright'y lad, follow me." He said before awkwardly walking around from behind the bar and then to the back door, from there into a back alley, Logan followed behind him as he went to the back of the Leaky Cauldron.
Tom out pulled his wand from his sleeve and tapped four different bricks in a certain sequence, making the bricks fold and move around each other so that it opened up a passage to the famous magical street, Diagon Alley, and Logan took the opportunity to remember the sequence Tom just used to open the passage, replaying the memory in his head a couple times so it would stick, he didn't want to ask for help every time he came but hopefully by that point he would either have a house elf getting things for him or have a house elf apparate him to Diagon Alley.
"Thank you, Tom." Logan said as he walked passed him into the Alley, Tom gave a small grunt in acknowledgement of the thanks and he then tapped the wall with his wand again, closing the passage back up the way it opened.
Logan kept walking past all the different witches and wizards in robes and pointed hats that were doing their daily shopping at the Market and shops on the alley, he walked directly to Gringotts, a building built on the corner of a fork in the alley with white columns going all the way to the top floor.
As he entered he got some looks for the muggle clothing that he was wearing and because of how young he was as he was without a guardian, he ignored them, walking directly up to the closest goblin, they looked like short men with sparse hair, wrinkles, claws and pointed ears. The goblin he went to wasn't dealing with someone, once he stopped in front of the very high desk he stopped and waited, looked straight at the goblin sitting there with an intense stare that spoke of a maturity that a boy his age shouldn't have, waiting to be called upon, he didn't want to start off on a bad foot by demanding the goblins attention.
Around a minute passed with Logan waiting, starring constantly at the goblin without breaking his almost dead serious expression, and he seemed to have passed the test because soon the goblin seemed to come to a natural pause in his work and leaned over the counter to stare back down at Logan, "What is it boy?" He asked gruffly, getting right down to business as wasted time was wasted money to goblins.
Logan didn't waste anytime either, he pulled the picture of his new father and mother from his worn coat pocket and held it up for the goblin to see, "A picture of my mother and father, I'd like you to read their names on the back, you should understand why I'm here after that." Logan said still holding it up, a second passed for the goblin to digest his words but he then flicked his finger towards the picture, making it rush towards his other outstretched hand.
Logan could practically see the gears turning in the goblins head and a second later, "Follow me." The goblin then stood up and walked away from the counter, Logan quickly ran to catch up with him.
They went through a couple winding corridors and a couple different rooms as well, most likely to disorientate the person entering Gringotts and defend against theft, you can't steal something if you can't even find your way out of the building you're stealing it from.
They finally reached a door, completely the same as the others but the goblin knocked on the door this time and as if he got an answer he sends Logan in but not before handing back the picture he was given in the first place.
In the room there was a one very old and grumpy looking goblin behind a big solid wood desk with stacks upon stacks of paper and folders on top of it, in the room there was also are filling cabinets, most likely enchanted with expanding charms so it can hold more folders.
"I can assume you are the account manager of the black family or something along those lines?" Logan asked the goblin in front of him, he didn't wait for an answer and sat down in the seat directly in front of the desk.
"That is right, I am Snaggleclaw, I assume you have some proof of identity but I'll tell you now we will be doing a blood test regardless." The old goblin now known as Snaggleclaw said looking uninterested.
Logan handed over the picture once more, watching as he looked it over and read the names on the back as well tapping the picture once as well, making it glow, most likely as diagnosis charm of some kind to check authenticity, "All things to be in order but to proceed I will need some of your blood in this bowl here." He said waving his hand and making an ornate bowl and short dagger appear on the desk.
Logan stood up and took the dagger in his right hand, putting it against the tip of one of his fingers and slicing it open slightly but not to deeply, holding his bleeding finger over the bowl and letting it freely bleed into it, once it had covered the bottom of the bowl with a thin layer Snaggleclaw gestured for him to stop and he also then waved his hand again, causing his cut to heal at a viable rate.
Once he had done that he returned his attention to the bowl now filled with Logan's blood, he cast some spells under his breath and added a couple powders he had taken out from somewhere and once that was done he unfurled a blank scroll on his desk, pouring the now black blood onto it, the blood seemed to move by it's self as if it was filling in gaps in a road, the gaps it filled in made a complete picture, of a family tree and at the top it said Black Family Tree.
"It seems that you are a Black, Mr. White." Snaggleclaw said as he tapped a name on the scroll with his clawed finger, "It's that irony at it's finest, a Black named White, hahahaha! Your farther definitely did that on purpose with how much he hated his family." Snaggleclaw seemed unable to hold in his laughter, Logan just let him stayed quite and let him laughter until it had run its course, but it was strange for him to witness a goblin laugh, a being so well known for there greed and hate that seeing one laugh would get marked down in history.
It was almost a full minute later that Snaggleclaw's laughter calmed down, "I'm going to guess that my family had a reputation and given both last names meanings I'd guess it's not a good one?" Logan asked pretending not to know the answer.
"That's right, the Black family is especially well know for its insanity in its female members, and your father is well know for his betrayal of the Potters as their secret keeper, and your aunt being the right hand of the most recent dark lord, Voldemort, but don't let wizards here you say that in front of them, they're are a bunch of pu**y's about it, too scared calling him anything but You-know-who or something along those lines. Anyway let's move on to the Black accounts"
-
"Here we are Mr. White, 12 Grimmauld Place, it has been your family home for generations after they had killed the muggles that lived here before that, I'll show you how to control the wards now, so please follow me." Snaggleclaw said as he walked passed the troll foot umbrella stand and he was about to enter the living room when the portrait on the wall started screeching bloody murder, "Kreacher! There is filth in my home! Get rid of it now!!" She screamed like there was no tomorrow; the painting was alive and screaming at them.
Right after she was finished screaming a small goblin like being with giant ears and a equally giant nose that was wearing a cut up dirty pillow case apparated into the corridor with them, "What are you doing in Master Black's home, leave now!" The strange little creature now identified as Kreacher shouted and he was about to snap his fingers when Logan grabbed his hand and stopped Kreacher from snapping his fingers together, stopping whatever magic he was about to perform.
Kreacher actually gasped when Logan suddenly grabbed his hand, he obviously didn't expect for it to happen, "Kreacher, right?" He asked the house elf rhetorically, "You are the current house elf of the Black family, yes?" He asked again getting a hesitant nod this time, "Then that means you now serve me, as the only Black's left you can actually serve are in prison, not apart of the family anymore or are just dead." He said looking over at the portrait of his grandmother, Walburga Black, who then proceed to start screaming at him again, but that was ended with a flick of Snaggleclaw's hand, "Thank you." He said turning his eyes towards the goblin who nodded his head at the look, Logan then turned back to Kreacher who was looking from the portrait and then to Logan, unsure as what to do.
"So Kreacher will you serve the last of the noble Black family like you are meant to do or do I have to get a new elf?" Logan asked him and then waited for his answer but he didn't have to wait long, "Kreacher will serve new master... "
"Logan White."
"Master White, Kreacher will always serve the noble house of Black, oh great Master White." Kreacher said with spite clear in his voice.
"Alright Kreacher no need to be so hateful about it, now, I didn't actually know if you would still be left alive after being unable to serve someone for so long so I did get a new house elf, Dobby, introduce yourself." Logan explained to Kreacher, and after he called for Dobby a house elf in a muggle suit that was completely black apparated into the house next to them like Kreacher did, "Master White be calling for Dobby?"
Dobby looked a lot like Kreacher but he was obviously younger, with bigger ears and he looked very excited when he looked at all the dust and dirt around the house, "Dobby, this is Kreacher, the Black family house elf, you will be working alongside him from now on and you will tell me right away if he isn't doing his job properly, is that clear?" Logan told Dobby who's ears practically flapped along with his excitement.
"Also give Kreacher one of the extra suits I bought for you, I don't want one of my elf's looking like he belongs alongside the trash on the street." Logan told Dobby who nodded his head at the order and snapped his fingers making a black suit the perfect size for Kreacher appear right in his hands, "You will wear that from now on and make sure you do your job, you can start by getting rid of my grandmother's portrait and putting it in the attic or something but you are not to follow anymore of her orders from now on, she's dead, you are meant to serve the living, am I understood Kreacher?" Logan asked but it didn't sound anything like a choice but an order that couldn't be refused.
"Yes Master White, Kreacher will do was he's told." Kreacher said as he snapped his fingers, making his pillow case change for the suit in his hands.
Logan and Snaggleclaw then left the two elf's to their work, finally walking into the living room and then up to the fireplace, "This is the wards control point, at least for more complex matters, for simpler ones you can simply call out and the wards will follow your orders as the Master of them. But first we need to get you recognized as said Master." Snaggleclaw then tapped the fireplace and a section of the stone mantel raised up from the ground and the stone seemed to erode away in the shape of a hand print, making a perfect space for someone's hand to go into, Snaggleclaw then produced the same dagger he used for the blood test ritual they had done before at his office, "If you would Mr. White." Presenting the dagger to Logan.
Logan took the dagger and didn't waste any time cutting his palm open and then slapping his bloody hand on the ward control point, "What now?" Logan asked Snaggleclaw, who didn't say anything but he did cast some spells that made the control point glow, he could see the glow through his fingers like how you would be able to see a torch light through the tips of your fingers when you covered the torch up with them, the light soon settled down seconds later.
Logan didn't let it show but the wards had already started working for him.
"And it is done, I have completed my duty and I will now be off Mr. White, let your enemy's fear you and let's hope that your gold breed." Snaggleclaw said before he left, closing the front door behind him.
While he was still at the wards control point he decided to make some changes in the wards, "Deny everyone but me, Dobby and Kreacher access to the building unless they have permission from me to enter, including members of the Black family." Once he finished speaking the same glow appeared but disappeared just as quickly, meaning the wards had acknowledged his order.
He then removed his hand and the stone control point smoothly went back down into the fireplace.
He looked down at his still bleeding hand and called for Dobby and Kreacher, "Dobby heal my hand." He ordered, letting Dobby get right to work, he then turned to Kreacher, "Kreacher go bring me the locket, I'm sure you know the one I'm talking about." He told Kreacher.
Kreacher had a look of struggle on his face before giving in and popping away to then pop back a second later with a locket in his hand, it had a snake in the shape of an S behind some type of glass or crystal, and the locket was in the shape of a octagon but stretched out a bit, "Good, thank you Kreacher, you can go back to cleaning now." Logan said dismissing Kreacher, after he had taken the locket away from him and then waited for Dobby to finishing healing his hand, taking that chance to look the locket over.
It honestly wasn't as impressive as you would expect for one of the four Hogwart's founders items, it probably had another use for parseltongues but he would find out what he could do with it later, right now he had something else to address, like the information he got imprinted into his head after he became the Master of the black family home wards.
-
When Logan became the Master of the wards his mind became filled with the difference ways that they could be used, for an example the command he gave before was just one of the ways he could use them, he could also choose who he gave access to the house and who would get instantly teleported to a holding cell once they entered the house, another use that he was quite interested in was being able to rearrange the layout of the entire building, including the outer appearance.
But besides that there are a lot of the other functions that couldn't be used right now but that problem would easily be solved in the future when Logan got more experience using them and getting other necessary things for the wards to function.
Right now the buildings outer look had to match up with the buildings around it for the muggles but that didn't put any limitations on the inside changing capabilities, he could make the inside completely bare or he could even add entirely new rooms with the space expansion charms that already exist but it seems like the previous members of the Black family that lived here didn't use them for whatever reason, it was Logan's belief that it was just pure laziness that was born from a live time of magic doing everything for you so they expect things to just happen for them and they then don't even notice when they have to actually do something themselves.
But the first thing he actually thought of when he learned the houses wards was of the House of Mystery from the DC universe, but the Black family home obviously couldn't travel through time and space and it wasn't sentient, at least not yet, it would have to be one of the things he had to get around to in the future.
Logan started off by having Dobby and Kreacher pack away everything that wasn't of value, so the tables, chairs, personal possessions that were left in the house but he made sure to tell them to check it first in case it was anything of value like books on magic or magical objects.
Others things like books on magic from the library or magically enchanted items, or even magical animal parts were brought down to the ground floor and put in different pile's where they would later be sorted and put in their new place once Logan had finished fixing the houses interior to his tastes.
But the rest of the useless things would be put up in the attic alongside the portrait of Walburga Black, his grandmother. It was still weird for him to think that he was in the Harry Potter world and to then think of some of these characters as his family, if he can even call them characters now, they aren't just actors or characters in a book anymore after all. I'll just have to except that they weren't works of fiction to me anymore and think of them as people and treat just like I would anyone else.
Forgetting about that though, not really important when I really think about it, they are just people even if I do have some metaknowledge of what they might do in the future, it's not really going to change how I think or act.
The building was quickly striped clean with the overly enthusiastic Dobby working together with the reluctant Kreacher, "Alright I'm going to rearrange the rooms now." Logan told the elf's before he put his hand back on the fireplace, the same place where the ward control point would raise up from.
Logan could instantly feel his connection to the wards and so he started using them by willing the walls to shift and move, the entire house creaked under the stress of the walls moving to suit Logan's mental picture.
They seemed to walk themselves across the room and then blend into the outer wall, either becoming an entire new room or completely disappearing into the outer wall.
The entire rearrangement must have taken half an hour to get everything the way he wanted it.
Logan had left the basement the way it was but just fixed some broken things and rearranged existing things to the way he liked them, the basement was where the kitchen was so the house elves could work out of sight, alongside the kitchen was the boiler and furnace for heating the entire house, the wards told him that the furnace housed a magical fire that was similar to fiend fire in that it was incredibly difficult to extinguish but without the control issues as the wards were made to do just that for him.
Because it was a magical fire there was a chance that Ashwinder's would be born from it and as luck would have it there was a couple Ashwinder egg's resting in the furnace at that moment.
Now normally you would be worried about having some magical snakes that were practically made of fire in your home where they would most likely start some fires and burn the placed down, but that was already accounted for and a neat salutation was made for certain magical homes, the Ashwinder's would hatch and then live the rest of their lives in the furnace, enchanted to suit them perfectly, from their they would keep the fire alive and strong and with the house elves close by they would be well looked after but it seems that Kreacher had been neglecting that duty.
Logan learned all that as well from the wards, it was a truly enjoyable moment for him, one of the very first after being reborn, not even looking around Diagon Alley could compare to learn so much in only a couple seconds and have total recall of it, it really made him realise just what world he was in.
"Dobby make sure you feed the Ashwinder's in the furnace once they hatch, they will be keeping this home warm after all." Logan smiled at the excited elf.
"I'm disappointed in you Kreacher for not keeping up your work while the rest of the Black's were away." Kreacher just looked away and grumbled quietly after his Master showed him his displeasure.
The new house layout was just as Logan had changed it in his mind using the wards, the ground floor was a open living room with the fire place on the left and the stairs to the next floor on the right so when you enter through the front door you can walk straight up them, he now had a lot of space for different things but that space was mainly taken up by the different pile's of things.
The first floor was going to be his library, it had no walls as well so it wasn't blocked off and Logan had moved all the houses book shelfs to the room but it seems like he would have to get even more and then magically expand the space even further if he wanted to make the library larger but that wouldn't be to hard with the wards and even then he could just do it him self when he learns how to do it in the future.
The next floor was something like a workshop and a office rolled together, Logan had a very large desk near the window, so he would be able to turn in his chair and look out when he needs a break or just a nicer view. He had also made the house elf's move all the magical animal parts onto some other desks in the room, in their separate pile's. They ranged from dragon skin and teeth, all the way to the legendary phoenix tears, albeit there only being one.
Now on to the third floor, besides some furniture and some of his belongings he had his new bed room in the middle of the room against the back wall, he had a very large bed that could fit 5 full grown men, he planned to grow a lot bigger after all, but that would all depend on weather or not the books in front of him had what he wanted.
"Let's get started shall we?" Logan said to the two house elf's next to him while he looked on at the pile of magic filled books, it was like looking at your dreams in physical form, a dream for magic.
-
"Alright that one goes in the charms pile, next." Logan said while pointing towards one pile of books on the floor of the living room.
Dobby did as he was asked and put the book he was holding into the pile that Logan had pointed to and Kreacher then came up to where Logan was sitting with the next book on magic that was found in the house.
After looking through it a bit and getting the general view of what the book held he then would point to what pile it had to go to and it would then be put in that pile by one of the house elves, this process happened again and again with each book that wasn't clearly labelled, which was quite a few of them and each one had to also be checked for curses or harmful charms by the two house's elves before they even got taken to Logan to be checked.
"This is the last one Master White." Dobby said and it seemed like he was very sad about it.
"Alright, it seems like this one goes in the history pile. You can take all the books and put them in the library but leave the the books on soul magic, blood ritual magic and all the other ritual books." Logan told the elf's who quickly got to work with moving the books to the library.
Leaving them to their work Logan turned his eyes back towards the books ha had just mentioned.
Soul magic.
Blood magic.
Ritual magic.
They were the three most interesting magics to Logan, for very simple reasons as well, they could give you a lot if you were willing to pay a price and as long as you didn't have a problem with wondering away from the norm, weather that be just the norm of your own physical appearance.
For example the straight teeth ritual, the very one Logan was reading through right now, "Dobby take these books and put them in my room on the bookshelf." Logan said not even waiting to see if Dobby was doing as he was asked, he just couldn't bring himself to take his eyes off of the pages in front of him, just being able to finally learn magic, to be in a world filled with magic and now it was all at his finger tips.
It was intoxicating.
Now Logan had never drank much in his last life, it would be more accurate to say that he just didn't drink at all, it was for a number of different reasons but the main one was that it just didn't excite him like it seemed to do to everyone else.
But now he was feeling like he could understand why some people could get addicted to alcohol, the feeling of excitement and when you add a bit of adrenaline to the mix you get a deadly combination that can play with the sense's.
That was how Logan was feeling right now and he didn't ever want to let this feeling go.
After coming to a natural pause in the book Logan, thought back on to what he just learnt so that he could remember it better, just one of his habits that he had picked up, another one of his habits was noticing when he acted differently to how he normally would, like if a beautiful woman walked into the room he would realise later that he had acted differently at the time, doing things like acting more confident and puffing out his chest to look bigger, so when he suddenly realised that he had just been acting very obsessive and that was definitely out of character for him.
"It seems like I have to start my Occlumency training immediately instead of later, if I can't even properly control my emotions without Occlumency and the mind arts, but lets do that after I complete this simple ritual, but I'll first have to modify it to suit my needs." Logan spoke to him self out loud.
"Dobby." Logan called out making the house elf appearing right next to him with a pop, the sound of house elf apparition, "Master White be wanting Dobby."
"Move the books on the mind arts to my room and then I'll need your help in my workshop with a small ritual." Logan said while patting the book in his hands.
"I be doing right away, Master White." Dobby said with glee before he disappeared again with a pop.
-
"Alright that's the ritual circle done, now I just need to place the required material's in their places in the circle. Did you manage to get that baby great white shark like I wanted?" Logan asked the floppy eared house elf next to him who looked excited.
"Yes, Master White, here it is." And once he said that a baby great white that was about five feet long and it appeared next to them on the floor, it was already dead, but it looked like it hadn't been dead long, "I did like you said Master and checked the seafood restaurants."
"Good, remove the the jaws and preserve the rest, I might need it later." Logan sent the elf away, while that was being done Logan started preparing the other ingredients, they were already in his workshop, he just had to measure out or cut up what he needed.
Once he was done with that he had placed all the ingredients in their places in the ritual circle, and as if by magic Dobby popped in with a large jaw with rows upon rows of sharp jagged teeth and even though it was from a baby shark it was still to big for the ritual.
"Dobby, can you permanently shrink this down, to about this size." Logan said as he held his hands apart to indicate what size he wanted it at.
Dobby nodded before making a face like he was constipated and when he did the shark jaw in his hands started to shrink down to just the size Logan wanted it.
"Good job Dobby." Logan said while he patted Dobby on the top of his head, who seemed ecstatic to be getting praised, "Hmm, I'm still not used to being so small, I'll have to change that as well." Logan said to himself before he took the smaller shark jaw from the dazed Dobby's hands and he then put that to in it's place in the ritual circle
Logan then took off all his clothes and put them to the side on a workbench, he couldn't have anymore variables in the ritual that could affect it.
"Alright, I'm ready and I'm sure I got the ritual right and so all I need to do now is power the ritual circle with my own magic. Dobby, once its over I'll need a lot of rest to recover from the change, don't give me anything, like potions, as it will affect the changes from the ritual and with the residue magic from the ritual that would still be in my system, do you understand Dobby?" Logan explained to the loyal little elf.
"Dobby understands Master White."
"Alright then, let's begin!" Logan said with excitement as he poured the magic he could feel running through his body into the ritual circle below him, making it slowly become brighter and brighter until it seemed that it couldn't take anymore and that's when Logan knew to stop pouring in his magic.
The ritual was designed that way because it would be extremely painful once the ritual started and then you wouldn't be able to power it, not unless you could withstand the pain and focus at the same time but even during his last life Logan hadn't experienced a lot of high levels of pain and so he knew that he wouldn't be able to do it, maybe in the future when he learns how to us Occlumency to shut off his feelings of pain.
And so the rush of pain came upon him just like he thought it would, and then at the same time this was happening the shark jaw was slowly disintegrated into a fine powder that seemed to swirl in place like a twister.
The pain Logan was feeling was beyond everything he had ever felt before, it felt like someone was using an angle grinder to slowly shave down his bones, but it was more focused on his mouth and he only really caught glimpses of of what was happening around him when he would get used to the pain for a bit but soon after that he would just get hit with a another wave of pain that was at lot worse then the last.
'When will this hell be over!!!'

"Urr~ What the hell hit me?" Logan groaned as he sat up in his bed, at the same time making his entire body cry out in pain for moving. He fell right back into bed without being able to stop himself, his entire body wanted to rest and it wouldn't except being told no.
"Damn, it was a lot more painful then what I was expecting, I just hope it worked out the way I wanted it too. Dobby." Logan called out, and just like every other time he had called for Dobby he appeared right away with a spring in his step and a smile on his face. He seemed to be a lot happier then when he found him anyway.
-Flash back-
"Before we go to the Black family home I would like to make a stop. You see, I need your help with finding something." Logan asked Snaggleclaw as they walked out of Gringotts together.
"What do you need?" Snaggleclaw asked him as they walked along Diagon Alley.
"I need a house elf." Logan answered, "I know just the place." Snaggleclaw said before he lead them down another path, one with a sign that read Knockturn Alley.
They walked until they came upon a dirty and dark looking shop.
"Here we are, you can buy house elves from here but I should warn you that they aren't cheap." Snaggleclaw told Logan as the walked into the very dark building with lots of different sized cages, most of them with some kind of magical animal in them, and just like the Goblin beside him said there was also house elves.
As Logan walked over to the house elves they all started perking up and getting excited, even when some of them seemed like they should b able to more with how thin their body's were. They called out to him, begging to be bought by him, to be taken away from the hell that they were living in.
Even Logan who was indifferent to a lot of things was affected by the sight before him.
While Logan stood there contemplating just what to do a very fat man with a patchy stubble, like he never learned how to shave correctly, came over to Logan and smirked at him, probably thinking something along the lines of 'Here's my next pay day', "Hello Young Master, I see you have noticed my house elves, I actually think I know just the elf for a Young Lord such as yourself. Oi, Dobby! Come to the front, the rest of ya' fuck off!" The man shouted as he banged his fist against the cage scarring the rest of the elves to the back of the cage.
Alarm bells went off in Logan's head, 'Dobby's here, it seems that I've beat the Malfoy's to it then, it just saves me the time in the future as I had already planned to get Dobby from them anyway, I always did like the little guy in the movies.' Logan thought to himself.
Soon the house elf himself came to the front of the cage, scared but he also looked hopeful, that he would get a new Master, and just like Logan thought it was the very same Dobby from the Harry Potter movies and Logan didn't hesitate, "I'll get him, how much?" Logan said towards the fat man.
"100 Galleons for each one of my elves Young Lord." He smiled, probably charging a lot more.
"Snaggleclaw, if I wanted to get all these elves?" Logan asked the Goblin without turning away from the house elves that looked more and more hopeful as he spoke.
"It wouldn't even be a drop Mr. White." The Goblin replied quietly so the fat man couldn't hear him.
"You have yourself a deal sir, 1700 Galleons for these 17 house elves." Logan said like the fat man didn't have a choice in the matter.
Before the man could even speak back Snaggleclaw placed a small pouch in his hand meaning the deal was sealed and that he wasn't going to get his elves back so he just walked away, Logan expected the price for house's elf's to be going up by a lot from now on and he didn't plan to sell them on.
"Dobby, you will be staying by my side from now on and the rest of you will go to Hogwarts for now, it shouldn't be a problem for you to get in with the other elves there helping you, learn the castle and all its secret passages, that will be your job for now, off you go." Logan said making all but one of the house elves teleport away to do as their new Master asked of them.
"Come along Dobby. Snaggleclaw, I would like to make one more stop before we go to my new home." Logan said as he walked away with the old Goblin beside him, the dazed Dobby also quickly catching up after them as well.
-Flash back end-
"Master White! You's being awake!" Dobby shouted excitedly as he brought him a glass of water.
Logan took a painful sip before speaking, "How long was I out for?" He asked Dobby.
"It's the next day Master White, you be wanting your lunch now?" Dobby asked, getting ready to summon the tray he put all the food on in the kitchen.
"Bring me a mirror first." Logan asked as he put his hand out for Dobby to then snap his fingers and make a hand mirror appear that he then put in Logan's hand.
Logan held the mirror up and saw that there wasn't any change to his outward appearance but when he parted his lips slightly he saw a pure white smile smiling back at him.
His teeth were now pure white, but they all ended in a sharp point, and looked a lot like sharks teeth, the very same great whites shark teeth that he had used in the ritual, but he could already notice some differences from them, for one he didn't have the multiple rows of teeth.
But he had the feeling that the extra teeth were just hiding somewhere else.
When you loose your first set of teeth the next and your very last set of teeth come out from your jaw, the teeth were always there, they were just hiding inside your jaw bone, until they could push out the first set of teeth and take their new place.
Logan had the feeling that was what would happen when he would lose a tooth in the future, "Dobby make sure I get more milk in my diet in the future, it seems like I'll need it." Logan said with a menacing smile that unnerved Dobby slightly but he wasn't afraid because of how much he already trusted Logan, he saved him and gave him a much better life after all.
"Yes Master White!" Dobby shouted happily.
"Alright, now bring me the book on the ritual I just did, I think I need to double check something."
-
"Fuck! I went through all that pain when if I just waited for my adult teeth to grow out I would have just felt a mild pain in my teeth, haah~" Logan sighed in annoyance, as he let the book drop from his hand and to the ground where it laid open on the page he was just on.
The page read, "Now, I would recommend that you don't conduct this ritual until you have grown out all your adult teeth as the ritual requires the space in your jaw to make its changes to the roots of your teeth and if it doesn't have that space then it will make it extremely painful. Again, I don't recommend it... God damn it!" I couldn't help but curse.

"...Occlumency is the act of magically closing one's mind against Legilimency. It is ancient, and has existed since medieval times. It can prevent a Legilimens from accessing one's thoughts and feelings, or influencing them in anyway. A person who practises this art is known as an Occlumens..."
"...Legilimency is the act of magically navigating through the many layers of a person's mind and correctly interpreting one's findings. A person who practises this art is known as a Legilimens. Muggles might call this "mind-reading," but practitioners disdain the term as naive. The opposite of Legilimency is Occlumency, which is used to shield one's mind from the invasion and influence of a Legilimens. Some magical creatures, such as Wampus cats, can also perform Legilimency..."
"Huh, I didn't know there was magical creatures that could do Legilimency." Logan pondered to himself as he sat in his library and read a book on the Mind Art's.
A couple days had already passed since he had completed the ritual on his teeth and he was already feeling better, but there was another side effect of the ritual that was only making it's self known now.
Whenever he damaged one of his teeth it would fall out on it's own and a little bit after that a new tooth would grow out, as if by magic every time he damaged his teeth new ones would grow out, again and again.
It seems like he would never have to worry about going to the dentist again, plus sharks were awesome in his opinion.
But right now he was trying to teach himself Occlumency and it seems like a lot of what he would be doing is meditating but with magic to help him out, by letting him enter his mindscape and sort it out.
By doing this he should be able to build up his mental defences and defend against memory or mind art based attacks.
"No time like the present I suppose." Logan said to himself before he took a seat on the floor in a cross legged position with his hands resting in his lap, with his back straight and his breathing calm, the optimum state to practice Occlumency.
-
"That wasn't that hard to do, just sorting out my memories each night should work out until I have to start building up some real defences." Logan said to himself before he got up from the ground in his bedroom.
"What can I do now? I need to let the residue magic from the ritual leave my body before I can do another one and even then I'm not going to make the same mistake again and not learn everything I can about the ritual before I actually do it." Logan mumbled to himself as he rubbed his chin, deeply in though.
"I've already started training my Occlumency, I'll be training that everyday regardless so I can put that to the side for a bit, wait, wasn't there something else that you could do with Occlumency. What was it? Something to do with animals... wait that's it!" Logan shouted out excitedly.
"Animagus training!!!"
-
After weeks and months of training in Occlumency, wandless magic, and learning all he could about transfiguration and how to become a Animagus Logan felt that he was ready to start training in it.
His first step was using Occlumency to find out what animal he would turn into, you did this by looking deep within yourself and by finding that animalistic part of yourself, that part would be in the form of the animal that you could become, a lot of people couldn't even finish this step because they simply lack more of an animal side for it to take on a form.
He just hoped that wouldn't be the case with him but he wouldn't be surprised if it was as, he has never shown much emotion throughout both of his lives besides a bit of anger here and there but even then that would go away quickly as well.
"Let's just try and find my animal side first, if someone like Peter Pettigrew could do this then I don't see why I can't as well." Logan said to himself before he entered his mind once again but to look for his inner animal this time instead of the usual Occlumency training.
-
Black.
That's all he could see once he stepped out of the safety of his inner mind, where he kept all his thoughts and feelings manifest.
His inner mind looked like a floating crystal in all of the darkness around its brightly shining self, it looked about the size of a large house and you could see different scenes behind each one of it's faces.
Scenes of Logan as he was now, doing things like talking to Dobby and practicing his wandless magic, but also scenes of what he used to look like, a slightly tall ginger teenager wearing hoodies mostly, working at a desk, going for exercise, but most of those scene were of him reading or watching something on a screen.
All these scene that were inside the crystal were of his memories, contained and protected inside his inner mind, exactly where Logan put them during his Occlumency training but it didn't always look like this inside his mind.
No, when he first stepped into it, so to speak, it was a wasteland, all of his thoughts and feelings were all over the place, there was no order to it whatsoever, he just hated thinking about what a mind would look like if that someone wared their heart on their sleeves.
So Logan picked up all of his minds pieces and put them together to form the strong, unbreakable crystal that it was now, but he also had the feeling that wasn't how someone else would normally practice Occlumency, it probably had something to do with his reincarnation strengthening his mind.
If the crystal represented his mind, then the inky blackness all around it would be the unused parts of his brain. For example the animal part of himself.
He just now needed to go and find it, I mean how hard could it be, anything would stick out in all of the black around him, any splash of colour would be like the sun in his minds outer reaches.
-
"Why the hell haven't I found it already?!" Logan shouted in anger after he left his mind, he was still sitting in a mediating posture on the floor in his room. He was still trying to find his animal side and it had already been a month with no luck.
"Why be angry Master White? Do you need helps?" Dobby asked his Master after popping into the room, appearing because of the shout he heard.
"I don't think you would be able to help Dobby, I'm trying to find my inner animal, inside my mind, so when I finally try and transform into it, I have a clear picture of what I'm trying to actually transform into." Logan explained with a tired sigh, rubbing his temples to try and dissipate the headache that was beginning to form.
"Why don't Master White's use bait to catch the animal? That's what Dobby be doing when he wants to catch animals." Dobby smiled widely as he explained.
As if Dobby had just spoke the words of a god Logan sprang up from the floor and lifted Dobby up off the ground as well, giving him a giant hug, probably the biggest hug he would have ever had if not the only hug he ever had. Dobby was frozen in shock and he looked like he didn't know what to do, either be extremely excited that Logan was hugging him or be worried that Logan was giving him a hug as he was his Master and he was always told by the other elf's that he would be luck if he got a Master that didn't punish him to much, did that mean he used up all his luck when he got Logan as his Master, Dobby thought to himself.
"That's a brilliant idea Dobby." Logan said after putting him down and patting him on the head, now able to do it a bit more comfortably, he had finally started growing again after eating right for a time and reversing the damage done to him after living in the orphanage his entire new life.
"Thank you Master White. Umm, Master White was it being alright that you gave Dobby a hug, it being his first, but other elf's be saying that Master's don't be hugging elves, being told that Master's punishes elves." Dobby asked Logan reluctantly as he actually wanted more hugs, but he couldn't stop himself from asking.
"Huh, technically that was my first hug as well" 'At least in this life anyway.' Logan added inside his head, "But don't worry it's fine, those people aren't meant to be an elves Master if that's how they would have treated you. Sadly there are a lot of people like that in our magical world and even in the non-magical world, there's a lot of hate out there and it's normally for someone's own odd sense of satisfaction, that normally being the feeling of being better then someone else." Logan said with a serious look on his face, but he quickly adopted a smile again, "But don't be worrying your little head about those difficult sounding things, okay?" Logan asked Dobby who then nodded their head.
"Now I'm going to try again but using bait this time. Let's hope it works this time." Logan said once again sitting down and entering his mind.
Dobby popped away a much happier elf but his thoughts heavier with Logan's words, he didn't like that his fellow house elves had to suffer under terrible Masters, "They's should be having Master like mine... " Dobby said to himself his a frown but as if he had a brilliant idea his face lit up, popping away again to who knows where.
-
"Alright, let's start off with a bloody piece of meat, hopefully this attracts whatever my animal is." Logan said aloud as he thought up a fresh cut of pork, making it appear out of the air in front of him, "Now I just need to wait."
-
"It's been a couple hours already and I'm now bored of strengthening my minds defences, maybe I should try a different bait if meats not working." Logan said to himself as he walked up to the cut of pork, just before he was going to make it disappear he saw something coming up from underneath it.
"What the he-!" Logan started before he was cut off by the giant fucking shark breaching out of the ground!!!
It was like the inky black ground had turned into water, letting the shark come out and eat the meat that he had left out.
After swallowing the cut of pork whole the shark just sat on the surface of what Logan was now thinking of calling his sea of consciousness, probably not a good sign that it was completely black, and it just looked at him, watching him closely.
"You did that on purpose, didn't you?" Logan asked the shark not even sure if it understood him but he was sure that it did when it suddenly spat black water at him, making him soaked.
"Hah, of course my animal side just has to be like this, you know how look I've been looking for you?" Logan asked the shark who just looked at him blankly.
"And you can't talk... I think my minds beginning to slip away from me, anyway, I'm going to call you Bruce from now on." Logan said to the shark who nodded and the image of another giant shark appeared in his mind along side a clownfish.
"Can you stick around this area and protect my inner mind." Logan said pointing towards the crystal hovering just above his sea of consciousness, Bruce nodded his head again and swam away again, now idly circling around underneath the crystal.
Logan smiled at that and left his mind soon after.
Now back in his room Logan thought to himself before saying, "I'll have to look into what affects your animal side, if the ritual changed my animal side or gave me one, it could be an interesting study if I can make use of it." Logan said aloud, before calling for Dobby and asking him to get him a leaf of a mandrake.
-
A month had passed and just like the Animagus training wanted he had kept the mandrake leaf inside his mouth for that entire month, thank god for sticking charms, otherwise he wouldn't be able to count the amount of times he wanted to spit the leaf out if his mouth.
But in that month he had also collected all the potions ingredients, studied more magic and also practiced his wandless magic so that he would be able to complete the last part without a wand, that was actually the step he was at now, it also happened to be the most boring part.
You needed to repeat "Amato Animo Animato Animagus" again and again, from sun rise to sun set until there was a thunder storm and you did it while pointing your wand at your heart but Logan would just be using his hand, placed over his heart instead of a wand, he didn't want to be on the Magical Ministry's watch list just yet, especially with the tracing spell they put on everyone wands.
That reminded him, he would have to look for a way to remove the trace for when he did get his wand, but it shouldn't be to difficult with the library he had amassed over the last couple months, he had started off with the already impressive Black family library and he had been steadily adding to it with the help of his house elves working at Hogwarts.
In Hogwarts there was a very special room, even more so then the ones around it, in a living magical castle the room had to be very special to be better then the others.
It was called the Room of Requirement, it could provide anything you could think of with magic, besides real food and objects that could be taken out of the room. If you wanted say a large room to practice your accuracy with your spells it would give you just that. A sunny beach? It can make that happen as well.
But the thing Logan liked about it the most was that it let you accesses the Room of Lost Things, it was where the Hogwarts House elves put everything that had ever been lost in the castle, the very same magical castle that like messing around with it's inhabitants, from fake doors to nothing, doors that drop you off on the entire other side of the castle and then disappear right after. It's safe to say a lot of things had been lost in the castle and it has been standing proud for a very long time, Logan got giddy sometimes when he thought of what could be in the Lost Room.
Logan had his elves taking everything of value from the room, that of course included books on magic, magical items, money, gold, valuables of every kind and they would then bring it back to the house and sort it. The gold and valuables got stored in a new vault that he had build in the basement, after having expanded it of course, he didn't really trust Gringotts.
If the Golden Trio could have broken into it when they were just seventh years at Hogwarts then what's stopping others, Logan was of course thinking of when Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley had broken into it in the film, the Deathly Hallows. What he can't get over is a bunch of children had broken into the supposed most secure place in Britain using tools everyone in the magical world carried around with them everywhere, that being a wand.
So he had begun moving out all his family gold and valuables from his vault and into his own, 80% had already been moved over but even that was in the billions of Galleons, it wouldn't be long before all of his money was moved over and he would have to expand his vault once again.
The books went to his library, magical items went to where they were useful or to his workshop and the things like art was hung up on the wall's if he liked it, he didn't want anymore annoying, screaming paintings on his walls where they could try and curse him. Those went up in the attic to join his grandmother, at least she would have someone new to shout at.
Getting back to what Logan was doing right now, he was currently standing in a field with a storm above his head and he was chanting just the spell to turn himself into an Animagus when the storm started to settle down.
"Look's like that's the end of the storm." Logan said aloud as he watched the dark clouds disappear, "Take me back Dobby." Logan said to the elf next to him who popped them away.
-
They reappeared in a very large pool and it looked like it was underground, "Make sure I get into the pool, don't want to suffocate right after transforming." Logan said to Dobby who nodded.
After getting conformation Logan flicked the stopped off the potion in his hand, he didn't hesitate in drinking it down, he could feel it going down his throat and then into his stomach where it settled.
"Is it be working Master White?" Dobby asked his Master, getting ready to push him in to the pool, he looked a little bit excited.
"I don't know, it never said how long it took to take- urr! Fuck that hurts!" Logan couldn't help groaning when he felt his insides changing.
His legs were the next to go, dropping him to the tiled floor having turning into a fishes tail, he now looked like a merman but the transformation didn't stop there, it quickly spread to the rest of his body, his clothes luckily also transformed along with him, one of the many mysteries of magic.
Within seconds Logan was a 3 meter great white shark, and he was currently getting pushed into the pool by a surprisingly strong house elf in a smart suit.
Getting used to his new body was hard but he felt his new instincts kick in a take over a bit, getting rid of the awkwardness of swimming without arms and legs and instead swimming with a powerful tail.
Going deeper and then rushing back up to the surface quickly, Logan breached the surface so he was in the air when he transformed back into his human form but his clothes were now soaked but Dobby quickly dried them with a snap of his fingers, "Looks like I'll need to learn how to add drying charms to my clothes." Logan said as they walked up the stairs that were close by, leading up to the ground floor and the living room.
"I'll need to talk to Snaggleclaw about slipping my Animagus registration paper work into the Ministry, at least the goblins will know what to do, otherwise how else do they get work done with the Ministry being filled with non-human and muggle haters. That actually reminds me, I should start planning on how I'll kill Umbridge, it's not like anyone will miss her at least." Logan said to himself with a devilish smile.
_
"Put the rock in that circle and the cat in this one." Logan told the two house elves who were helping him set up a ritual for soul transfers, a very simple one at that even though it deals with the soul.
But that misconception just went to benefit Logan, it would mean that he had less if not no competition in the soul magic business, meaning the valuable ingredients that were needed for it weren't getting bought before he could get there.
Anyway, back to the soul transfer ritual, he was currently testing it out on a cat and transferring it's soul over to the rock in the ritual circle next to it, the cat was completely black and it was fat and fluffy with big wide black eyes, it even had a birth defect where it's tongue was always hanging out of it's mouth slightly, making it look extremely cute, he even felt bad about using it as his test subject but he didn't want to text it out on what he actually wanted to soul transfer.
That being Salazar Slytherin's locket and Rowena Ravenclaw's diadem, both of them contained a part of Voldemort's soul which tied the dark lord to the living world, effectively making him immortal, except that it came at the price of his sanity, called a Horcrux.
Logan didn't mind leaving the nose-less bastard alone but he wasn't naive enough to believe that he would think the same, especially when he was the holder of the Black family fortune, taking over the world isn't cheap otherwise everyone would be doing it.
So he planned to get rid of him as quickly as he could, Harry Potter should be 2 now and go to Hogwarts in 1991 if he remembered the years right, so that would mean that he had 7 years to get rid of as many of his Horcruxes as he could, he already had two, he knew where the rest of them where as well.
One was in the Lestrange vault in Gringotts, now he didn't think very highly of it's security but that didn't mean he underestimated it, they still had a dragon as a gate keeper and it was only Harry Potter's plot armour called the prophecy that saved him from getting eaten.
That Horcrux was another one of the Hogwarts founders items, Helga Hufflepuff's cup, said to have many magical abilities, here's hoping that the charms won't disappear once he removes the Horcrux from it, Logan thought to himself.
Another was a diary and it was the first one he ever made, currently hidden in Malfoy Manor, this particular Horcrux contained 50% of Voldemort's original soul, what was interesting about it was that it developed an identity or will of it's own. It was something Logan desperately wanted to study when he got his hands on it.
But the last three Horcruxes were equally as interesting, there was a sliver of Voldemort's soul trapped in Harry Potter's scar, this also granted him the ability to talk to snakes, Parseltongue.
Logan wouldn't be embarrassed to admit that it made him a bit jealous, not of the having a dark lords soul shard trapped inside your forehead part though.
The next Horcrux is similar to Harry in that it is a living Horcrux, it's Voldemort's pet snake, Nagini, now Logan wasn't actually sure if Voldemort had made this Horcrux yet but it didn't really matter at this point as he wasn't going to go anywhere near Voldemort's little hidey hole anytime soon, so he wasn't going to go and check. Even as a shade of his former self he could still have abilities that he wouldn't be prepared for when he actually face Voldemort.
And the very last Horcrux besides the little bit of soul that was Voldemort himself, Marvolo Gaunt's ring, attached to said ring was one of the three Deathly Hallows, the Resurrection Stone, said to be able to bring back the spirits of the dead to the land of the living from the land of the beyond.
But if they stayed in the living world for to long they went insane apparently.
Logan still gets a laugh sometimes when he thinks about how Voldemort didn't realise that he was holding one of the most valuable magical items in his hands and he just turned it into a Horcrux, thinking about it now, he did that a lot, turning three of the four Hogwarts founders items into Horcruxes making them useless unless he could remove the soul shards from them with the ritual he was practicing now.
"Everything should be ready, I just need to power it now." Logan said aloud as he put his hands to the ritual circle, "Sorry about this cat." He apologised to the fat black cat that was cleaning it's paw in the ritual circle in front of him.
After that Logan started powering the ritual circle making it glow with white light, the light washed over the cat and the stone at the same time, before disappearing completely.
And once the light was gone it revealed a dead cat and a stone, but Logan was already expecting that so he lifted his hand up towards the stone and called out a spell used to check if someone still had their soul, it was mainly used on Dementor victim's.
A Dementor being a dark cloaked creature that floated around sucking the happiness out of everything it could find, including people, sucking the soul from their victim was very easy for them.
The spell told him that the stone contained a soul, at that Logan gave a wide smile and broke out in laughter, "I did it!" Logan shouted in joy as he picked up the stone that contained a cats soul and looked at it for a bit to see if there was anything different about it, there wasn't, so he just put in his bottomless bag that he kept with him always for safe keeping.
He then got to work on setting up the ritual again for the Diadem and the Locket, he was going to use something more identifiable as he didn't want to lose the new Horcruxes.
The two Horcruxes were now a yellow rubber duck that you would see in a bathroom and a spoon that was all twisted up, one of the damaged spoons that he had used when he was practicing his wandless magic.
Now he just needed to destroy them, there was a few ways that they could be destroyed, the most known one was Fiend Fire, a magical fire that is extremely difficult to control and extinguish, the fire took on the form of different animals that would rampage around, growing each time they consumed something.
Another way was Basilisk venom, venom from a magical snake that was possibly immortal, unable to die from old age and it was born using a magical ritual that involved a toad and a chicken egg.
The important part about it was that it's venom was fatal, you would have a maximum of 1 minute to live, in your last moments you would feel drowsy and you would have blurred-vision.
The venom worked as it caused fatal damage that cannot be repaired. Basilisk venom was extremely difficult to precure unless he went to the one hiding underneath Hogwarts, and he did want to risk that so the only option was to get better at his magical control so that when it came time for it he would be able to use the Fiend Fire.
But before that time came he would keep the two Horcruxes locked away where they couldn't effect him with its dark magic.
