Deeper Exploration

I followed Nail close behind, as I didn't really know what to say, it was difficult bringing a conversation with him, we kept walking, I looked at my surroundings, surprised almost about everything of the forest, after a few seconds he grabbed my arm and dragged me infront of a bush filled with different wild fruits, mainly raspberries and blueberries. 

"This is basic knowledge but in any case its better for me to show you. the aliments that grow inside the Mother Mirror are eatable, but they don't have taste, its like if you ate an avocado, or eat water." Honestly I was surprised I did read most of the books that he lend me but I had no idea about that, after a few seconds he leaned closer to the bush, and started collecting them and hiding them in the haversack. He stood up and we went back to walking through the forest.

Around ten minutes later, even deeper inside the forest, it got to a point we needed to use a lantern to see better, the vibe of the place changed drastically, it felt like if we were being stalked, the trees huge and it leafs had a greyish color, it was incredible to see in first hand, it was something I thought I would never be able to see in first hand, but here I am, even tho the feeling was intense and the silence between me and Nail was uncomfortable, it helped me to think better, it felt as if I was meditating somewhat, after a few more minutes we reached a river there Nail turned his back to see me, I was genuienly exhausted, even though he has been training the last few weeks to improve my cardio, it was my first time walking through a terrain this irregular. "We'll take a break here and go back, you're in no condition to fight or even run away if something gets to happen." He was right if something got to happen I don't think I would be able to run, I think that my breathing sound would even atract more danger rather than being able to escape.

After Nail said that, he looked around the place, finding a stump to sit on, and so he did, he ten turned his haversack and brought out the raspberries and blueberries he grabbed from that bush, I was curious and spoke up: "Why do you eat them? Haven't you bringed food for the trip?" my voice sounded a bit rude, but it wasn't my intention, I was genuienly curious. "I have, yes, but the food you collect here wastes much quicker than the food you bring out from the real world, so its better to eat it as soon as possible" now that I thought of it I suppose it made sense what he said, but in my case I didn't have any food coming from here so I just grabbed a chocolate bar from my own haversack and started eating it, I could notice how Nail gave me a side-eye probbably judging on his mind my choice of snack, honestly Nail is a very healthy man so he doesn't really is into sugar snacks, but that is not my case, I love sweet snacks, and I do have a sweet tooth for them, so, even tho I am trying to improve my physic I will eat at least something sugary if I have the chance.

After eating and have relaxed a bit, Nail stood up and stretched slightly, he looked at me once again and said "Well, I think thats enough for today, let's go back." I nodded and stood up too, and started walking behind him back to the town made next to the Mother Mirror of Celin. On the way back, we crossed against a rabbit once again, but this time, before I could say anything, Nail made a sign towards me to shut up, and out of a pocket he brought out the same small mirror he used to store the rabbit, once out the mirror started generating particles and the particles formed into a short spear, it was of a silver color with the tip slightly curved, without even saying a word, Nai jumped infront of the ''rabbit'' and with one quick slice, he cut it's neck off, and before even a single drop of blood could come out, he used the same mirror to store the body.

With that done, I was completely unaware of how strong Nail really was, yes he taught me hand-to-hand combat but I've never have seen him use a weapon, so this was another thing that I've experienced today, with that done, Nail looked back at me and signed me to follow him, after staring into the space where the rabbit used to be, I nodded and started to follow him, now I really wanted to know what else he would teach me in the future.
