I Am The strongest

"Radhaan, we can talk… don't act irrationally." remembering the quest's condition, Johan frowned. Unharmed. Maybe it already failed.

He nodded to Kirin and Melodis by his side, his gaze sharpening. 'After the transformation, my Aether reserves have evolved to another level… but the real Johan was just a… nerd, like me.'

Johan never trained anything beside basic martial arts, and daily workouts. Focusing all his time on complex healing spells—cures to different kinds of poisons, diseases, that probably only ten people affected by in the entire recorded history.

'Guess he was passionate too…' Sighed Johan, remembering his past days at the medical school.

Kirin took a stance with dazed eyes, she obviously still didn't recover from the moment with johan, and quite literally death, 'He never acted so… direct… is everything okay with him?' She also clearly felt the change in Johan's aura, his aether reserves already above hers too.

Whoosh!

Radhaan appeared right in front of Johan, his expression curious. "Can we? I don't have anything to talk about with a traitor." he said righteously, adjusting his top hat with a frown.

Sebastian was still raised high in his hand, grabbed tightly from his mouschtache, Radhaan's hand glowing with purple sparks from time to time.

"Hehe, isn't that ironic…" Johan appeareared right next to Kirin, still holding Marino in a princess carry, a mocking smile tugging at his lips.

Radhaan's eyes twitched, schooling his expression, he continued nonchalantly. "I am the supreme commander of the entire army, serving my Empire dutyfully for more than 25 years… are you suggesting I, Radhann, am a traitor?" His voice dropped low at the end.

Johan walked closer, followed closely by Kirin, both in defensive stance which made Radhaan raise his guard, but smile even colder, as he knew, no one could pose him a threat. "There is this terrorist organization the entire world—all 5 human empires, folks from Devil's land, elves, dwarfs had been united to hunt for…"

Radhaan's expression faltered, some sweat appearing on his forehead, but he replied with a perfect poker face. "Alistar? I heard your father, Raymond Daystar, is the second in command of those terrorists." Radhaan chuckled mockingly at the 'relationship' of Johan and Daystar, wiping the sweat off his forehead.

"There is no point deceiving me Radhaan, I know everything, and you also know the truth about my 'betrayal'... who're you even trying to lie to… yourself?" Johan smirked devlishly, his white teeth shining in the dark night.

Radhaan's eyes widened, his hands moved, but—

"I already sent this information to certain people in the Aurelian Empire… if I don't stop them, Leonard will be getting a surprise…" Johan's cold voice instantly stopped Radhaan, his hand just 2 centimeters away from paralyzed Sebastian's throat.

Kirin scratched her white hair in confusion, she got the Alistar part, she had fought with one of their members, and formed a kind of rivalry with her.

That member also used Flame magic, so when they fought, it was a competition of whose flames are the hottest, and the answer was… hers, by a great margin at that.

In the end Kirin was wounded all-over, only surviving because of Johan, while she escaped unharmed.

There's not a day Kirin doesn't remember those hollow black eyes, her beautiful yet demonic face smiling calmly. 'But, what connection does this bastard Radhaan have with them?'

"...Are you threatening me?" Radhaan's face immediately darkened, he put more emphasis on the word "me".

It was given that Radhaan could, even now, kill all three of them all on his own, just like how he instantly neutralised Sebastian, who even had his guard up, and was excpecting Radhaan's attack, light speed was nothing to joke about.

You can try to cast any defensive spell, but it all means nothing in front of the speed of light.

Radhaan perceives time much slower than everyone, so slow, it barely even passes, when Sebastian tried casting negative gravity on himself—a strong defensive spell of gravity magic that pushes away the object by double the force it's incoming, a perfect defense against someone as fast, and strong as Radhaan.

But… he couldn't even cast it because of the time basically pausing for Radhaan.

For him, Sebastian was just like a toddler standing in the middle of the road, and Radhaan was the one on a tank that could move like a sports car. Of coure the toddler will be crushed.

'I guess the downside will be that he can't perceive the beauty of colours." Johan sighed with a trembling heart, as Radhaan's pressure grew heavier and heavier.

It is true, the human eye perceives colour when the eye reflects the light from the sun, this process is obviously impossible when someone is light itself.

Radhaan is blind, and all he perceives is a bunch of bobly vomit of Blue-red-white lights, which made him rely completely on his Aether sensing to even walk.

"...What if I am threatening you?" Johan said simply, patting the dust off his grey t-shirt nonchalantly.

Suddenly, Johan, Sebastian Marino, and Kirin's body wobbled unoticabelly, as if they were made out of slime, but nothing at all changed so it all seemed normal.

Purple viens appeared on Radhaan's forehead, his breathing becoming ragged, but he asked calmly, "Tell me something first, How do you even know this?" he instantly assumed someone on his side had snitched.

There were only 8 people in the world who knew that Radhaan, the hero of the Aurelian Empire, Member of the seven seats, the commander of the Divine Generals, the supreme commander of the Millitary was the one behind—

The greatest threat to humanity; Alistar, the terrorist organization with the bounty of over ten billion gold pounds combined, responsible for thousands of terrorist attacks all over the world.

Crack!

Ground shook. Like an earthquake, but much worse, as if the planet itself was crumbling.

Dark purple lightning flashed through the ground, instantly, dust flew high. Ground began to shatter, massive cracks appearing all over the area.

Boom! Boom!

Kirin, and Johan floated in the air, using aether as a push themselves up, staring down with a frown.

"I don't care, even if Leonardo learned of it all, it won't matter. He's just a puppet, just like you were, I will put your dead body to good use…" Radhaan grinned like a maniac, licking his lips with his red tongue, Saliva falling from his mouth as his eyes curled upwards mockingly.

'I am the strongest. Nothing matters.' This thought repeated in his mind multiple times.

Every last house, rocks, mountains, began to fall, crumbling to dust.

Fortunately, it seemed someone had warned the town's mayor about something happening, and most were probably already evacuated, the unlucky ones… dead.

It was Radhaan, he didn't move, attack, or anything, Just letting a little bit of his blood lust loose, and… Vexely was no more.

"Melodis!!" Johan yelled as loud as he could, covering himself in a full body slime armour long suit, with golden texture and millions of symbols arched on its edges—liquid Aether reinforcement, a basic battle technique, but very important, as everyone used this even at Radhaan's level, just that they get stronger and stronger depending on the person using them.

Johan, with the new Aether reserves, definitely was using it to the best of his abilities, and negative energy, and the holy aura of the God tree only made it even stronger, even a meteor couldn't kill him now.

This technique originally Johan learned to make sure he always stays alive, before leaving for anything risky, he always covered his body fully with melted healing Aether, so now, Johan felt used to it, and could use it like a master.

Giant wings caught on bright red flames manifested out of Kirin's back, the night brightening with the light coming from them.

Kirin stared at her body, startled. 'This… this is the great spirit's power!? Spirit Dive? How? I don't have that kind of connection with Melodis…' her eyes widened, but then she thought back at what happened in limbo, her eyes softened.

Spirit Dive was the highest form of technique a person who contracted with any kind of spirit could use after thousands of grueling hours spent training with the spirit, but this was completely different with the great spirits, their holy aura will instantly obliterate any human body if not controlled actively.

So there couldn't be any errors, or it was death by getting blown to atoms, but now, the mental connection Kirin felt with Melodis, she was sure she could never.

Johan had used the upgraded version of Spirit pact to let both Kirin, and Melodis form this level of connection.

Then, a bloodthirsty grin appeared on Kirin's face. 'With this power, maybe I could actually win against Radhaan.' In her youth, Kirin had challenged Radhaan multiple times to friendly duel, loosing each and every immediately, but growing from every defeat nonthless, so she didn't mind defeat, but—

She definitely wanted to win, crush Radhaan's every bone with her bare hands as Radhaan liked to do, maybe this time… she could win.

'No, You can't! But, it will be enough…" Mused Johan, an evil grin appearing on his handsome face.
