Chapter 25: Little Snape? Got Him!

Chapter 25: Little Snape? Got Him!

"The trajectory of the stars represents a grand and orderly flow of power in the universe."

"You understand correctly. Different positions and combinations of stars are generally believed to release specific magical fluctuations."

"And the phases of the moon are closely related to the cycle of magic. Usually, energy reaches its peak at the full moon, and at the new moon, energy begins a new round of accumulation."

"Ordinary potion making is not particularly affected. When you have a deeper understanding of potions."

"When you try to make some advanced potions, you need to consider the movement of the stars and guide the energy of the universe to gather, to improve the effect of your potion."

Dylan understood immediately.

While recording the knowledge Snape taught, he asked, "I understand that Mercury seems to be related to wisdom."

"Then, Professor, allow me to give a simple example. When brewing a potion that enhances wisdom, wouldn't there be a situation."

"When Mercury is in a position conducive to the transmission of wisdom energy, is it more likely that the potion will be brewed?"

Professor Snape nodded: "You can understand it that way."

"I have another question."

Dylan's pen never stopped.

"Since you said that the phases of the moon are related to energy, in addition to brewing potions, do the phases of the moon have any effect on the use of potions?"

"For example, if I take a healing potion during a full moon, will the healing effect be faster and more thorough due to the powerful energy of the full moon?"

"Or, if I take some potions that can remove curses during the waning moon, will the energy 'released' by the waning moon more effectively dispel the curse?"

Dylan's question gave Snape a new understanding of him.

His expression was no longer cold, but his tone was still low.

"Very good questions, and you understand it very well. That's how it is."

He explained the influence of the stars on potions to Dylan in more detail.

Then he looked at him: "Anything else you want to ask?"

The always cold Professor Snape actually took the initiative to ask Dylan if he had any more questions!

"Don't misunderstand. I just think that since you have the opportunity to get rid of your troll-like brain, I don't mind giving you a hand."

Dylan couldn't help but smile.

He hadn't even said anything yet!

"Professor, is there any connection between spells and potions?"

"Or, can the process of a potion taking effect be compared to casting a spell?"

"Can I brew a spell into a potion that can be stored for later use, even when I don't have magic?"

Snape glanced at him.

"Humph, your thinking has a spark, but your poor knowledge reserve is like a leaky old house, unable to keep the fire of knowledge."

He said coldly, "Spells and potions are both laws and rules summarized by using magical energy."

"It's utterly foolish to compare the two!"

Dylan was stunned: "So, Professor, do you mean that spells and potions are actually two parts with the same effect, but they together form magic?"

"Excessive exploration of the essence is just a waste of time."

Professor Snape didn't answer, but said this.

Dylan seemed to understand.

But he thought of his father, who could directly use magic with fugu liver, and sometimes brewed potions around a cauldron, chanting "demons and ghosts leave quickly."

"Speaking of which, Dad can defeat demons. His magic level shouldn't be worse than here."

He muttered to himself.

He wondered if his achievement system would give him magic from other worlds.

A few hours passed quickly.

Snape saw that Dylan still didn't intend to stop asking questions.

Didn't this little wizard feel hungry?

Wasn't this the age when he needed to eat every so often?

Snape didn't want to go eat quickly, but he was afraid that Dylan, this foolish little wizard, would starve himself.

He stood up.

"That's it for today. Every Saturday from now on, I will set aside some time for you, usually in the afternoon."

Dylan was immediately surprised.

Was this a promise from Professor Snape?

Rare!

He quickly said, "Professor Snape, in addition to asking you questions, can you guide me through the process of brewing potions?"

To prevent this guy from criticizing him again, Dylan added, "I've almost understood the content of the textbook. What I need more is practice."

Dylan would complete his first subject achievement after reading the textbooks of each subject for the first time, and then receive some rewards to improve his talent or affinity for the subject.

This was one of the reasons why he was able to self-study most of the textbooks in such a short time.

"So what textbooks have you read? Low-level potions will only waste my materials."

Hearing this, Dylan didn't react for a moment, and blinked.

What do you mean?

He didn't even have to pay for the potion ingredients?

Oh my Voldemort!

This was too good!

Dylan almost loved Professor Snape to death.

This wave was a direct win!

He excitedly flipped to the last page of his notebook.

It recorded the books he had read.

Snape glanced at it.

Dense.

More than one page.

Dylan turned his pen over and counted.

"I've read... Magical Drafts and Potions, Potions Crafting Techniques Guide, Let Yourself Go on a Bottle Carnival, The Relationship Between Potions and Magical Defense..."

"Enough."

Professor Snape interrupted.

"Have you read Advanced Potion Making?"

Dylan nodded: "I've read it."

"Good. Then go read Advanced Potion Precise Recipes, and also read The Standard Book of Spells, Grade 1."

Professor Snape had already started walking towards the door: "Next week, I will teach you how to make advanced potions."

"Yes!"

Dylan replied.

"Do I have to ask you to leave?"

Professor Snape opened the door and stood by the door, silently looking at Dylan.

Dylan hurriedly stuffed his notebook and pen into his bag, and then hurried out the door.

"Want to go eat together, Professor?"

"Save it. I don't have the patience to watch you put food in your mouth while your brain churns your poor potion knowledge."

Snape closed the door and walked straight in one direction.

Not the Great Hall.

Dylan stood there, shrugged, and then turned to the Great Hall.

He had to eat quickly, and then spend the two days of the weekend reading the two books that Professor Snape had specially pointed out for him.

One of the benefits of Hogwarts.

That was, he didn't have to spend money to buy books to read. He could find most of the books he needed in the library.
