Chapter 1: A Fan's Dream

Riku Tanaka sat cross-legged on his bedroom floor, surrounded by Dragon Ball merchandise. Posters of Goku, Vegeta, and the rest of the Z Fighters adorned the walls, while action figures lined the shelves. His laptop was open, streaming the latest episode of Dragon Ball Super, and he was completely engrossed in the battle between Goku and Jiren.

"Come on, Goku! You can do it!" Riku shouted, pumping his fist in the air. He had watched this episode multiple times, but the thrill never faded. The way Goku pushed his limits, the camaraderie among the Z Fighters, and the epic battles inspired Riku to dream of becoming a powerful warrior himself.

Riku was an ordinary high school student, but he had always felt a little out of place. He was shy and introverted, preferring the company of his favorite anime characters to that of his classmates. His friends often teased him for being a "nerd," but Riku didn't mind. He found solace in the world of Dragon Ball, where strength, friendship, and adventure reigned supreme.

As the episode ended, Riku sighed, leaning back against his bed. "If only I could be a part of that world," he muttered. "Imagine having powers like them… I'd be unstoppable!"

Suddenly, a strange sensation washed over him. It felt like a surge of energy coursing through his veins. Riku closed his eyes, trying to shake off the feeling, but it only intensified. When he opened them again, he found himself standing in a vast, open field under a bright blue sky.

"What the—?" Riku gasped, looking around in disbelief. "Am I… in the Dragon Ball universe?"

He quickly spotted a familiar figure in the distance—Goku, training in a clearing. Riku's heart raced with excitement. "This is incredible!" he thought, running toward Goku.

"Hey! Are you okay?" Goku called out as Riku approached, concern etched on his face.

"I… I don't know how I got here!" Riku exclaimed, trying to catch his breath. "I was just in my room, and then I felt this weird energy, and now I'm here!"

Goku smiled, his eyes sparkling with curiosity. "That's awesome! You must really love training if you ended up here. But be careful; this world can be dangerous!"

Riku nodded, feeling a mix of excitement and anxiety. "I do love it! But I think I have something special that can help me. I can absorb abilities from others!"

Goku raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Absorb abilities? That sounds cool! How does it work?"

Riku hesitated, unsure of how to explain. "I'm not entirely sure yet. I just know that when I fight someone, I can take their skills and powers."

"Sounds like a unique ability! Want to train together? I can help you figure it out!" Goku offered, his enthusiasm infectious.

"Train with Goku? Yes, please!" Riku replied, his heart racing with excitement.
