As Riku helped the smaller man to his feet, the remaining fighters exchanged glances, clearly reconsidering their approach. The muscular fighter slowly stood up, brushing himself off. "You've got some skills, kid," he admitted, a begrudging respect in his voice. "But this isn't over."
Riku squared his shoulders, ready for whatever came next. "I'm not afraid of you or anyone else here!" he declared, feeling the energy of the Baki universe fueling his confidence.
"Good," the muscular fighter replied, a smirk forming on his lips. "Because if you want to survive in this world, you'll need to get stronger. How about you join us for some training?"
Riku's eyes widened in surprise. "You want me to train with you?"
"Yeah," the fighter said, crossing his arms. "You've got potential. But you'll need to toughen up if you want to make it here. My name's Jack, by the way."
"Riku," he replied, shaking Jack's hand. "I'd love to train with you!"
