Chapter 7: The girl, Saeko Busujima

Fifth floor, school medical office!

The door suddenly swung open.

"Tsubasa, Tsubasa..." a stunningly beautiful tall girl burst into the room with a wooden sword in her hand.

The girl was indeed very tall, about 174 cm - such a height among girls made her stand out like a crane among chickens.

But despite her height, she was not thin, but on the contrary, had a graceful figure. Dressed in a tight school uniform with a short skirt, she could boast impressive curves, and her outstanding assets were not inferior to the absent-minded Shizuka Marikawa.

Her long purple hair, smooth as a waterfall, fell to her waist, her oval face was incredibly graceful, and her slightly elongated eyes radiated a cold beauty, as if keeping everyone at a distance.

Saeko Busujima!

The main fighting force in the original anime! And the owner of the most attractive appearance!

However, the apocalypse had just begun, the group of main characters had not yet gathered, and now she was just Tsubasa's girlfriend!

"Hm? He's not here? How is that possible? Tsubasa told me he'd be here on an IV!" Saeko muttered, her brow furrowing slightly.

Seeing the empty medical room, Saeko Busujima was momentarily confused but quickly came to her senses and ran out of the room.

Over the course of these three years, they had studied kendo together, and although Tsubasa was not as strong as her, he could definitely defend himself from zombies.

She had been at the kendo club when Tsubasa fell ill and was put on an IV drip. She knew about it and had planned to come pick him up after the procedure to go to class together.

But suddenly, a zombie epidemic broke out, and after she had hacked her way out of the kendo club, she immediately rushed here.

Hr-r... hr...

R-r-r!!

The fifth floor was quite high up, and most of the students had run downstairs, so there weren't many infected zombies here.

But this was only relative.

Less did not mean none at all.

Also, Saeko was worried about Tsubasa and had run here, causing quite a ruckus. Especially after Tsubasa and Shizuka had left the medical room earlier and fought for the first time, attracting many zombies.

Bloody zombies with disfigured faces ran out of every corner of the corridor and empty classrooms.

Judging by their number, there were more than fifty of them.

Saeko didn't stop, her purple hair fluttering, and her cold dark purple eyes didn't show any fear. She looked at the approaching fifty zombies as if she were looking at fifty ants, not being afraid of them at all.

And in fact, she had every reason to be so confident!

Last year, when she was only seventeen, she had already won the national championship for second-year high school students. She was now the captain of the kendo club, and her mastery of the art was inherited from her father, Kitao Busujima.

Although there were many zombies, before the infection they were ordinary students, but now, having lost their minds, they acted only on instinct.

They were no threat to her!

Whoosh-whoosh-whoosh!

Her wooden sword left a blurry trail in the air, each strike smashing the zombie's head. Her attacks were incredibly fast, and her strength was astounding. Even when seven or eight zombies attacked her at once, she destroyed them instantly.

Two minutes later!

Saeko Busujima's wooden sword stopped.

Looking back at the bodies lying in pools of blood behind her, she swung her sword lightly, shaking off the blood, and with her left hand, she pushed back the long hair that had fallen onto her chest.

The wind from the window lifted her short skirt slightly, revealing her long, slender legs. A few drops of blood were visible on her white stockings above the knees, which, combined with the cold gleam of her dark purple eyes, created a special, cold beauty.

This perfectly beautiful picture was soon disturbed by growling and howling.

Although Saeko moved very quickly, she had created quite a bit of noise. Hordes of zombies from the lower floors and other school buildings were drawn to this place.

Now huge groups of zombies were flocking here.

"Tsubasa must have gone downstairs."

Saeko had come from the kendo club, crossed two school buildings, and hadn't seen Tsubasa anywhere. Given the situation, he was unlikely to go to other buildings, so he must have gone downstairs.

Her long, slender legs moved quickly, and soon she reached the stairs leading to the fourth floor.

There were fourteen zombie bodies lying on the floor.

"Did Tsubasa... do this?"

A look of surprise flashed through Saeko's usually cold, dark purple eyes. With her experience, she could see that all fourteen zombies had been killed with a single, precise blow.

Moreover, the person who delivered these blows moved very quickly and had outstanding kendo skills.

She didn't remember Tsubasa being so skilled in kendo!

But it didn't matter!

At least Tsubasa was alive!

The roaring of the zombie crowd at the end of the corridor was getting closer, and judging by the sound of running footsteps, there were quite a few of them. The howling of the zombie crowd was also heard from below, and it seemed there were even more of them.

But Saeko didn't seem to be bothered by it at all.

"Tsubasa, just don't die!"

Saeko gritted her teeth, her long hair flying, and she leapt over the bodies of fourteen zombies, rushing downwards.

Whoosh-whoosh-whoosh!

As soon as she reached the fourth floor, more than ten zombies attacked her, but before they could get close, Saeko smashed their heads with her wooden sword, killing them instantly.

But before Saeko could catch her breath, more than twenty zombies pounced on her from the corridor by the stairs.

Saeko's beautiful eyebrows furrowed as she quickly swung her sword, killing several zombies before turning around and running down the stairs to the third floor.

She was well aware that she had made too much noise.

If she stopped, the crowds of zombies, attracted by the noise, would become larger and larger, it would be impossible to kill them all, and soon they would devour her.

All she could do was run down!

If she could reach the first or even the second floor, then with her fighting skills, she could even jump from the second floor and escape from the crowd of zombies.

But the main thing was that she had to find Tsubasa!

Hr-r... hr...

R-r-r!!

Mmm... hrr...

The speed at which the zombies were gathering exceeded Saeko's expectations. As soon as she went down to the third floor, she saw that a huge number of zombies had already gathered in the corridor on the second floor.

And on the stairs leading to the first floor, the crowd of zombies was so dense that it resembled rising floodwater. In a few seconds, they would reach the landing of the second floor.

She was being chased by zombies from above, and the stairs to the second floor were completely blocked.

It seemed like Saeko was in a hopeless situation!

"Saeko!!"

At that moment, a familiar voice came from the second-floor corridor. Saeko raised her head, and joy flashed in her dark purple eyes.

"Tsubasa!!!"
