"Good, then. You'll make an excellent addition to my legion." Jeremy smiled mysteriously. After seeing the devil's abilities, it was obvious—he would become an Aberration.
"Drae'mon," the boy added, "It's your turn. Go wild."
Ever since he'd seen his status, Jeremy couldn't help but grin like an idiot. The black skeleton had never disappointed him.
NAME: Drae'mon
RANK: S
LEVEL: 150
RACE: Mutated Undead Razorfang
CLASS: Sovereign of Bones
POTENTIAL: ASCENDANT
LAW: Black Bone, Annihilation

[Bone Ruler]The battlefield is your domain. All skeletal summons, including the Bone Ruler himself, deal more damage, resist more, and move faster.

[Full Penetration]Ignores armor, barriers, or any form of protection. Your attacks cannot be dodged.
---
[Law Absorber]You can absorb the Laws and Concepts of recently fallen beings. Each Law or Concept is added to your collection, and you may wield them as you wish.Currently, Concepts are converted into Law-based power.
---
[Chain Attack]Each of Drae'mon's strikes chains to nearby enemies, dealing a portion of the original damage.
---
And so, after Jeremy gave the order, a fearsome grin spread across the skeleton's face.
Without even the sound of wind, Drae'mon materialized in front of one of the devil's Law-type summons.
It was the embodiment of the Law of Destruction, a common Law among demons.
Drae'mon simply slashed forward with his claws—and the massive, grotesque figure oozing destruction was shattered in an instant.
And the same thing happened to every other Law Incarnation.
In addition to Destruction, there had also been Devouring, Flame, and Decay.
"Damn it…" Aliken cursed, nearly resigned. He'd seen it—the skeleton had somehow absorbed the Law of Annihilation from his fallen devil companion.
Not that he'd needed it.
Through his [Insight], Aliken had already understood: no protection could save his Incarnations from that skeletal monster.
"It's your turn now—Concept of Chaos and Concept of Judgment," the devil said, pointing first to his two remaining summons, then to Drae'mon. "Destroy that skeleton."
Without a moment of hesitation, the two Concepts unleashed a power that rivaled even Bevrel's demonic state—had he not been obliterated before using it.
A wild, overwhelming force of pure Chaos swept across the entire area. Reality itself seemed to break down.
"What the hell is happening? What is this feeling? Am I dead?"
The attack had been so sudden and intense that even Rose Redspine—a bystander—doubted her own existence.
Fortunately, she wasn't the direct target, but the side effects alone were near-lethal.
Her body began to unravel from within, her organs failing, her breath ceasing.
Then—another force, stronger than even the chaos she was experiencing, erupted into existence.
It was the Concept of Judgment.
Unlike the rampant madness of Chaos, this power was focused solely on the black skeleton.
And yet, Drae'mon showed no concern.
Nor did Jeremy.
He was smiling. He wanted to see how Drae'mon would respond to it all.
The blow from Judgment—manifested as a colossal golden spear—shot straight at the skeletal face.
Then—
Chaos erupted. Judgment descended upon that poor pile of bones. First, everything was engulfed in darkness. Then, a brilliant light pierced the shadows.
"Well done! Let's wipe out these ignorant creatures!" Aliken shouted, ecstatic. He believed he had finally destroyed one of that detestable human's most dangerous undead.
Now, he just had to deal with the rest. Those were his dreams.
Reality, however, was far different.
Drae'mon didn't have a single scratch on him.His bones—darker than the blackest night—were completely unblemished. Not even a hint of damage.
At the sight of that, Aliken's emotions did a complete 180.How was this possible?
Simple. Drae'mon had destroyed the attack using one of his own.His Black Bone Law made his structure flawless—both defensively and offensively.
And with his newly absorbed Law, Annihilation, his counter had erased that Concept completely.
"Hey, little devil—"A sudden voice cut through Aliken's panic."You're dead. Got any last words?"
The devil was now truly cornered. He couldn't escape. He couldn't even hope to hurt the human.
Should he surrender?
Then—his eyes flashed.Yes… he would surrender. For now. He'd wait for the perfect moment to kill the human.
This is my chance, the devil thought.
"I-I… I can be of use to you. I know many things, and someone of your strength will surely need that knowledge. A powerful being like you, my lord, doesn't belong in a world this… small and weak."
Aliken was on his knees. He prayed for mercy—and somehow, those prayers were heard.
"Alright then. Answer my questions, and I might let you live…"Jeremy stepped closer to the devil.
Drae'mon had already obliterated the remaining Incarnations, leaving the devil powerless to retaliate.
"Why did you come to this world?"
"We were sent here by our Clan, the Ebonveil, my lord. We were ordered to interfere with the conquest of this planet."
A simple answer, yet one loaded with implications.
Jeremy was familiar with the realm of devils. After all, Okoron had been one of them, and had lived in those powerful, resource-rich worlds.
But that had been long ago.Much had changed since then.
"And this clan of yours—Ebonveil—how does it rank among the strongest?"
Jeremy's question was clear. He wanted to know more about the enemies he'd face in the future.
"We are ranked among the top ten, my lord," Aliken replied with pride. "Our clan leader is at Eclipse Rank."
In truth, the devil was hoping to intimidate the human. But Jeremy's reaction was… not what he expected.
"What?"Disdain twisted Jeremy's face."Just Eclipse Rank? And your clan is top ten in the galaxy? That's pathetic."
From what he remembered of Okoron, Eclipse Rank wasn't particularly special. They were undeniably powerful—capable of obliterating Jeremy with a flick of their finger—but they wouldn't stoop to kill a mere Rank S like him.
He wasn't worried. Not at all.
Aliken was stunned.Just Eclipse Rank?
But before he could respond, several figures suddenly entered their field of vision.
They advanced slowly, yet purposefully—as if this place belonged to them.As if they didn't even notice the destruction… or care.
The three figures in black armor—dispatched to the site of the anomaly, the North Capital—were nearly there.
Their ship, capable of incredible speed, had taken only minutes to cross the world.
"We're almost at the destination," said a clean-looking man—tall, slender, with not a hair on his face.
"Good. Prepare to disembark. We will greet our guests on foot."
Three armored figures walked toward Jeremy and Aliken.
Their expressions were a mixture of curiosity and unease.
On one side stood a human. On the other, a devil on his knees. This… wasn't how it was supposed to go.
Something was wrong.
"Greetings. We are Lord Cambela's extermination unit. How may we address you?"The woman at the front gave Jeremy a respectful bow.
"I'm Jeremy."
The boy was deep in thought.
Who the hell is Lord Cambela?
A flicker of light danced in the devil's eyes.
"I know Cambela," Aliken said, voice heavy with disdain. "He's the devil trying to conquer this world. We were sent to capture him."
Suddenly, things started to make sense in Jeremy's mind.
"So all this chaos with the Gates… it's the work of a single devil named Cambela trying to take over this world?"
Jeremy's expression twisted with confusion."To what end?"
The woman stepped forward."Our objective is to force the evolution of the human race. To do that, we must place humans in life-or-death scenarios."
"Oh," Jeremy nodded. "And why exactly?"
Before the woman could reply, Aliken smirked.
"That's because Cambela possesses a unique power—one that led to the total destruction of his original clan, the Hexforge."
"The death of his clan was caused by the Class and Law he awakened… making him a highly sought-after being by all major factions." the devil added.
The trio in black armor glared at Aliken with murderous intent.
Even though they were merely peak Rank S, they showed no fear of a Rank EX.After all, their master—Cambela—had given them a tool.
A weapon made specifically to fight Concepts.
