Chapter 093: Contact Chris to Save Dressrosa! The shock of the unconventional.

The room was dead silent, not a single sound could be heard.

Rebecca and King Riku were utterly stunned.

The two of them finally understood Violet's abilities clearly.

The Paramecia-type Glare-Glare Fruit—as long as the target was within her line of sight, she could extract information without any restrictions. It was practically a godlike tool for espionage!

"If that's the case, then we truly are no match for Chris," King Riku shook his head, his weathered face filled with astonishment. He sighed and said, "But this is just too shocking! How could a young brat like Chris possess such terrifying strength? How did he manage it?"

"This... this is simply unbelievable!"

Rebecca looked at Violet, her flawless face also wearing an expression of shock. She quickly added, "For someone so young to be so powerful can only mean his talent is extraordinarily rare. And he must be incredibly hardworking—no matter how gifted, without effort, it would be impossible to achieve this."

"But this young man is truly terrifying."

Rebecca blinked her beautiful eyes, her face showing a look of deep curiosity and admiration. "A young man like this... is simply too exceptional. I've never heard of anyone so outstanding before!"

Violet looked at Rebecca, her lips curling into a teasing smile. "Oh my... Our beloved princess Rebecca seems to have taken an interest in a man. This is quite a rare occurrence."

Rebecca rolled her eyes and retorted, "Nonsense! Don't joke around like that. Hmph—What kind of personality does he have? Is he easy to talk to? I don't even know these things. How could I possibly be interested in him?"

Rebecca's tone shifted, carrying a hint of mischief as she nodded knowingly. "I see, I understand now. Oh, it seems like you're the one who's taken a liking to him. Am I wrong? You're the one who's been investigating him and knows so much about him. There must be something going on here, right?"

King Riku tapped the desk lightly and coughed, interrupting their banter. He turned to Violet and asked skeptically, "Chris is stronger than Doflamingo, but what does that have to do with us? Are you suggesting we rely on Chris's power to overthrow the Donquixote Family? Is that it?"

Hearing this, Rebecca's eyes lit up with curiosity as she looked at Violet, her voice tinged with disbelief. "Auntie, you're not seriously considering what Grandpa said, are you? Asking Chris to help us eliminate the Donquixote Family? But wouldn't that be too risky?"

Rebecca shook her head slightly, her slender fingers gripping the edge of the table as she spoke with concern. "What if he doesn't trust us and instead reports this to Doflamingo? Then you'd be in serious trouble. At the very least, Doflamingo would never let you off easily."

Violet brushed a strand of hair behind her ear and smiled calmly. "Yes, that's exactly what I'm thinking. The Donquixote Family is simply too powerful. There's no way we can defeat them on our own."

"Even if we endure and slowly build our strength, whether it takes three years or five, it won't make a difference." Violet sighed bitterly and continued, "Doflamingo's influence is far too vast. While we are growing stronger, our progress can't possibly keep up with theirs. Over time, the gap will only widen."

"Eventually, we'll be powerless, and this country will truly fall under their rule. There will be no other outcome."

Violet looked at them both, her expression turning serious. "Father, Rebecca, we must seek external help. Believe me, this is the right decision."

Silence fell once more.

King Riku and Rebecca both quieted down, lost in thought. The room was so silent that not even a pin drop could be heard.

After a while, King Riku leaned back in his chair and let out a heavy sigh. His weary face was filled with exhaustion. "What you're saying... I already know all too well. But what else can we do? Faced with such a terrifying opponent, we can only operate in the shadows and slowly build our strength."

"Beyond that, we have no other options."

King Riku rubbed his forehead, forcing himself to focus as he looked at Violet and asked, "You're right—we do need external help. But the question is, do you really understand Chris's situation?"

"What if he helps us overthrow the Donquixote Family but then decides to stay and take over Dressrosa himself? What do we do then? At that point, who will save Dressrosa? There would truly be no hope left."

Rebecca nodded in agreement, her voice filled with concern as she looked at Violet. "Auntie, let's think of another way. Chris is too mysterious, and we don't know enough about him. It's better not to involve him."

"Your safety is what matters most. I won't allow you to take such a risk."

Violet waved her hand dismissively, her elegant face relaxed as she smiled confidently. "Don't worry. I would never act recklessly. As for the risks, I've already accounted for them."

"When contacting Chris, I won't reveal my identity. I'll have my trusted agents handle the initial communication to gauge the situation."

Violet crossed her legs and smirked. "That way, there's no chance of my identity being exposed. If the negotiations succeed, great. If not, no harm done—there'll be no consequences."

"In short, both of you can rest easy. There won't be any problems—not even the slightest issue."

Hearing Violet's confident words, King Riku and Rebecca finally relaxed a little. If everything went as Violet described, there really wouldn't be any risk.

But all of this was based on Violet's own assumptions. Would things really go as smoothly as she said?

What if Chris discovered her identity? Or what if unforeseen complications arose?

Such possibilities couldn't be ruled out.

The two of them still felt uneasy. After all, the stakes were far too high—the fate of an entire nation was at risk.
