Arjun stopped moving and paid attention to Meera as she chatted on the phone with Pooja. 


"Please, Pooja, come to our house and take me to the marriage venue. (pause) No, I didn’t ask Arjunji. (pause) I don’t want to disturb him for every little thing. (pause) I don't think he will come to a common person's wedding. (pause) Of course, he would come if I called, but I can’t embarrass him. (pause) Okay, I’ll be ready at 5 o’clock sharp." 


She disconnected the call, and Arjun remained casual as if he knew nothing about her wedding plans. He took a box from the closet and handed it to Meera. 


Meera opened the box to find a beautiful lehenga inside. 


"Is this for me?" she exclaimed excitedly. 


Meera laughed, "I'll wear it for you." 


"I love it! But why this sudden gift?"
