Hearing Meera’s “I Love You,” Arjun was speechless. He lost his speaking ability. What made her utter it? Was the world rotating in the opposite direction? He wanted to pinch himself to test whether he was dreaming, which Arjun had never done before.

Seeing him not uttering a single word, Meera got confused. She was supposed to leave the room, but Arjun got his senses and clutched her wrist, stopping her from going.

He removed his mobile and dialled Sagar while looking at Meera.

“Post the meeting…” Arjun said.

“But Arjun…”

Cutting him off, Arjun said, “Or cancel it.” He cut the call without cutting his gaze from her face.

“What do you mean, Meera?”

“I mean…”

“Why…?”

“Arjunji, just because I’m silent doesn’t mean I don’t know anything. I want to know what you have done for me.”

“What’s that?”

“I got a seat in my college not because of my marks but because of your donation, that too, two crores”
