Part 33: Floral Arrow
Meera often looked lost. Hiding the truth from Arjun was not something she could handle easily. She felt guilty and wanted to pour her heart out to him but feared the consequences. Not wanting to carry this burden alone, she decided to leave it in the hands of Devi Maa. She wrote two chits: “SAY” and “DON’T SAY.” After throwing them at the feet of the divine, she picked one at random. With a hurried glance, she sighed upon seeing “DON’T SAY.”
Meera joined her hands in prayer. “Why, Devi Maa? Why do you want me to hide the truth? I thought you wanted me to tell Arjunji everything.” (pause) “It’s okay. There must be a valid reason for your command. Even though I must keep the truth from Arjunji as per your order, please forgive me for the sin I am about to commit. I hope this will not create a rift between Arjunji and me. I trust you will help me with this issue, as always.”
