Chapter 20- Secret Relationship

I lay on the bed satisfied as Cole played with my hair while I ran my fingers on his chest.

" There's a conference coming up next week," I said and he turned to me.

" Do you think I want to be talking about any conference when I have you laying beside me?"

" It's just that I want to know if I'll be going with you," I said.

This conference will be held in Switzerland and it will take two weeks, I wanted to know if I will be going with him.

" What do you think? That I would leave you here to go for a two-week long conference without you, no way in hell, you're coming with me," He said as he pushed me closer to him and I wrapped my arms around him enjoying his scent.

We soon fell asleep.

I woke up the next morning and he was still sleeping beside me. I quietly got out of bed, and picked his shirt that was on the floor, putting it on and then I made my way to the kitchen.

I was making pancakes when I felt a presence behind me before arms went around me as he whispered into my ear.

" If this isn't a dream come true, I don't know what else to call it, I've always imagined what it would look like to have you with just my shirt on, in my kitchen after pleasing you all night," I couldn't help it but my body shivered at the thickness of his voice as he started leaving kisses on my neck.

" Stop it, Cole, you're distracting me," I said as I tried to push him away but he wouldn't budge.

" Come on," I groaned but he only tightened his hold around me.

" These pancakes are going to burn if you don't leave me, I swear if they do I'll burn your hair," He quickly pulled his hands away with a chuckle.

" Mean woman,"

" Whatever," I muttered.

" I told my mom about us," I suddenly said and she stopped what she was doing and turned to me.

" What?!" She said with panic in her eyes.

" Hey, hey calm down, my mom is good at keeping secrets and she wouldn't judge me, she's only concerned about my happiness," And having grandbabies, but I didn't say that out loud.

" Are you sure?" She asked, still sounding worried.

" I am, come on, don't make that face, I hate it when you're sad," I said as I went to her holding her waist.

" Go set the table, I'll finish the pancakes," I said and she nodded, going to do what I asked. I knew she was still worried about me talking to my mom about us, but she had nothing to worry about, I was going to show her that.

We had breakfast in comfortable silence as I kept teasing her about having a small cute mouth. I wonder how that mouth would feel wrapped around me.

Fucking idiot, I was having breakfast and here I was thinking about dirty things.

We finished breakfast and then we had a shower together and mind you it wasn't a quick one.

" What would I wear to the office? I can't wear what I wore yesterday," Anna groaned with a towel wrapped around her.

" Maybe we should just skip work today, after all, you don't have what to wear," I suggested, the glare she passed my way made me shut up instantly. I suddenly felt like she was the boss, what was I saying, she was the boss, whatever she asked me to do I'd do it.

" I'll get you something to wear," I said and she raised her brows at me, I knew what she was thinking. She must be thinking it was the clothing of a woman I brought here, she didn't even know I had never brought another woman into this room except her. Thinking about that makes me feel like a virgin but I was far from that.

" Wipe those thoughts out of your head, I got you something when I went to get a new suit and I haven't had the time to give it to you, you can wear it to work, I think it looks corporate," I said as I went into my closet and then came out with a box.

" Here, try this," I said as I handed her the box and she took it looking at me.

I watched her as she opened the box bringing out a pink dress.

" Wow, this is so lovely," She said her eyes shining with delight.

" So you like it?" I asked her.

" Yeah it's beautiful, I can wear it to the office," She took the dress out and the towel around her waist fell to the floor, she had only her underwear and I was a pleased spectator as I watched her get dressed.

" Help me here," She said as she turned her back to me wanting my help to zip the dress she was wearing. As I finished zipping the dress I left a kiss on her beautiful neck.

" All done,"

" Okay time to go, my Uber is already outside," She said and I looked at her in surprise.

" Your what?" I asked her like I didn't hear her the first time.

" Cole," She whispered as she wrapped her arms around me looking up at me with those beautiful eyes.

" You know I can't drive with you to work, you're my boss outside the closed door but when no one is watching I'm anything you want me to be," She said as she drew my head down to kiss my lips as if to prove her point.

" This is so hard, I want to drive to work with you, open the car door for you, and treat you like my woman for the world to see, you're mine and I want everyone to know,"

" I know, but we have to be careful and you know why?" She said, I wish things were different, I wasn't doing well with this secret relationship.

Her phone started ringing showing that her Uber driver was waiting. Right now I wish I was that Uber driver, taking my woman to work.

" See you in the office," She said as she perked my cheek before carrying her bag and then she ran off.

I just watched her as thoughts filled my head.

How long would we continue to hide?

But as long as she was okay with it, I didn't have a choice but to do what she wanted.
