Chapter 40 – A Quiet Cup Before the Storm
(Final Chapter of Volume 3)
After weeks of battles, realm-shaking punches, and secret revelations, Lee Hwan finally walked alone through the quiet streets of Seoul. His aura was completely hidden, cloaked beneath layers of stealth and concealment magic.
No one could sense the monster that stood beside them.
He stopped at a small corner café—"Brew & Flame"—a quiet place he remembered visiting before he had ever climbed the Tower. The door chimed softly as he entered, the warm scent of roasted beans and honey pastries welcoming him like an old friend.
The barista, unaware of who stood before her, smiled.
"Table for one, sir?"
Lee simply nodded and took a seat by the window. Outside, the world looked peaceful… unaware of the wars above, the Monarchs' eyes, and the coming chaos.
He sipped his coffee slowly. For the first time in months, he wasn't swinging a sword or summoning dragons. He just… breathed.
"Three volumes of war, blood, and secrets…" he thought, "and I'm just getting started."
As the final ray of sunset touched his face, Lee Hwan glanced at his status window. His hand hovered over one phrase: "Enter the 11th Floor?"
He didn't press it.
"Not yet."
His eyes closed, and a faint smirk returned.
"Let the world think I'm gone. When I return… I'll shake the entire Tower."
