King Killian froze, his eyes darting from Elena's bloodied finger to her neck and then back to the finger. For the first time since Elena met Killian, she saw him horrified, making her stomach jolt.
"I-is there a problem? D-does this have some meaning?" Elena questioned, her voice trembling. Even as she asked the question, she wasn't sure she was ready for the answer.
King Killian grabbed her fingers a little too tightly, and Elena winced. He let go as quickly as he heard her wince. He stared at her neck again then looked at her in the eyes with a look that made a shiver run down Elena's spine. "Did you really just say Xavier marked you in your dream?"
Elena gulped. The look on his face was scary and she had to move back a bit. "Y-yes." Her heart was racing and beads of sweat formed on her face.
King Killian let out a low growl, then all of a sudden he jumped out of the bed and punched the wall hard, creating a hole in the middle.
