Chapter 107: Intoxicated

In the end, Aerith couldn't handle the aftereffects of the fruit wine and fell asleep on the table.

"Alright, we should go now." Seeing Aerith fast asleep, Aiden knew it was time to wrap things up. He clapped his hands and stood up.

"Now? Isn't it too late?" Tifa pointed at the clock on the wall.

"It's already past midnight. I think…" Tifa hesitated.

"What do you think?" Aiden lifted Aerith and looked at Tifa.

"You can come rest at my place. Anyway, it's so late now, it'd be troublesome to go back, right?" Tifa's eyes showed a bit of hope as she said this.

"That might not be good. You probably don't have extra rooms, right?" Aiden asked.

"Of course there is." Tifa hurriedly said, "There's a vacant apartment nearby, the landlord also supports our Avalanche activities, and doesn't charge us rent, so you can go live there."

Aiden knew which apartment Tifa was talking about. After thinking for a moment, he nodded, "Alright then."

"Then let's go quickly… Ah, I almost forgot, I still have to clean up the bar. Aiden, wait for me." Tifa, a bit excited, quickly started tidying up the bar.

Soon, Tifa had simply cleaned the bar and then brought Aiden and Aerith to the place she mentioned.

The apartment sounded fancy, but in reality, it was just an ordinary old apartment. The environment was decent, at least it looked clean.

"Here, these are the keys to 202 and 203. But 203's condition is a bit better than 202. You can let Aerith sleep in 203."

On the second floor, Tifa handed the two keys to Aiden.

Aiden nodded. Just as he was about to carry Aerith to 203, he suddenly heard Tifa softly say behind him, "I live in 201. If you want to drink a bit more, you can come find me directly. I didn't lock the door."

Hearing this, Aiden paused his steps, then nodded and continued toward 203.

At the door of 203, Aiden took out the key and opened the door. Carrying Aerith to the bedside, he carefully placed her on the bed. Then he poured a glass of water, placed it on the nightstand, sat by the bed, and helplessly looked at Aerith's face.

After watching her for a while, Aiden sighed, then helped cover Aerith with the blanket, turned off the light, and left 203.

After closing the door to 203, Aiden didn't leave directly, but instead lit a cigarette at the door.

As he exhaled smoke, Aiden hesitated while pacing back and forth between 202 and 203.

To say he wasn't tempted by Tifa's invitation would be a lie.

Aiden stopped at the door of 203 and muttered, "This doesn't seem very appropriate."

After finishing the cigarette, he still hadn't made a decision. Then he lit another one.

'Aerith probably won't wake up anytime soon, might sleep until morning… Damn it, what am I hesitating for?'

In the end, Aiden threw away the cigarette he'd barely smoked and resolutely walked toward 201.

Tifa hadn't lied, 201's door really wasn't locked, not even fully closed. Through a finger-width gap, Aiden could see the warm lighting inside.

However, he didn't push the door open immediately. After a moment of hesitation, he knocked.

"Tifa… can I come in?"

"Wait a sec, Aiden, I'm changing clothes." From inside the room came Tifa's voice, nervous but with a hint of delight.

"Alright then." Aiden replied, then stood at the door waiting.

Not long after, Tifa called out, "Aiden, you can come in now."

Aiden immediately pushed the door open and saw Tifa, wearing a black kimono, standing quietly in the middle of the room with her hands folded in front of her belly.

Seeing Tifa's outfit, Aiden was amazed. The kimono she wore wasn't a traditional Japanese one, the hem only covered the upper thighs, and with one lift of the leg, the "absolute zone" might be revealed. Below that, Tifa's long and beautiful legs were tightly wrapped in black over-the-knee stockings, not only showing off the graceful curves of her legs but also adding a touch of special charm.

This outfit, half-covered yet half-revealed, displayed the best parts of her body and was a feast for Aiden's eyes.

"Pretty?" Even though she had seen the amazement in Aiden's eyes, Tifa still asked. While asking, she raised her arms and did a light spin, as if wanting him to get a full view.

"Pretty." Aiden nodded honestly. Especially during the spin, when the lifted skirt revealed a glimpse of pure white.

"That's good then." Tifa breathed a small sigh of relief, then pulled Aiden by the arm and led him to a small table nearby.

On the table was a bottle of alcohol and two empty glasses. After Aiden sat down, Tifa poured him a drink, then sat across from him.

"This was brought over from Wutai by someone I know. Try it." Tifa leaned against the table, hands propping up her chin, her red eyes sparkling like autumn water, looking at Aiden with a bit of anticipation.

Aiden nodded, took a sip, and the sake-like taste made him nod in approval, "Not bad."

"Glad you like it." Tifa squinted her eyes and smiled.

After drinking a few more sips, Aiden looked at Tifa and asked, "You called me over, just to drink? Nothing else? Like something about your organization?"

"Just to drink." Tifa shook her head, "Although I hope you'll join us, we're not talking about that right now."

"Alright then." Aiden didn't want to talk about it either.

Then, the two of them drank while sharing stories from their past experiences.

When it was Aiden's turn again, he stopped halfway through his story. Maybe the alcohol gave him courage, or maybe the fire stirred up by Scarlet at the flower stall hadn't yet gone out. Either way, a strong impulse welled up inside him.

After a pause, Aiden called, "Tifa."

Tifa looked at him curiously. Just as she was about to ask what was wrong, Aiden suddenly grabbed her hand.

Tifa's cheeks turned slightly red, whether from the alcohol or something else was unclear.

"Aiden…" Tifa's gaze grew hazy as she softly murmured his name. Then, feeling Aiden's hand exerting a bit of force, she understood what he wanted.

Without Aiden even pulling hard, Tifa moved from her seat, walked around the table, and leaned against Aiden, finally sitting on his lap.

Smelling the faint fragrance on Tifa, Aiden wrapped his arms around her waist and asked, "Wanna continue what we did at the bar?"

Tifa nodded without hesitation, then closed her eyes.

With her eyes closed, Tifa looked gentle and adorable. Aiden couldn't help but admire her.

But when she noticed he still hadn't moved, Tifa opened her eyes again and saw Aiden gazing at her with admiration.

"Should I… keep my eyes closed?" Tifa asked in a low voice.

"No, it's better with your eyes open." Aiden slightly shook his head, then kissed her lips.

Unlike being kissed by Scarlet, this time Aiden took the initiative, and from the start, he held the dominant position, guiding Tifa to respond.

"Mmm~"

Under his advance, Tifa once again closed her eyes, letting him play with her tongue. Her hands also tightly hugged his waist.

No one knew how much time passed, but eventually Aiden withdrew, letting go of her lips.

Tifa was breathing heavily, this was a new experience for her, both surprising and intoxicating.

"A little dizzy..." Tifa said, resting her face on Aiden's shoulder.

"You'll get used to it." Aiden replied, then tilted her chin and kissed her again.

"Let me catch my breath… I still~" Tifa gasped, but her words were cut off by moans as her breathing became more rapid and chaotic.

Being kissed into a daze, Tifa was no longer content just hugging Aiden's waist. Her jade-like fingers gently stroked his back, then wrapped around his neck tightly, pressing her body even closer to him, as if she wanted to become one with him.

At such close distance, Aiden could feel Tifa's figure even more clearly. What surprised him most was the sensation from her chest, it seemed even more astonishing than Scarlet's.

'Absolutely perfect!' Aiden praised in his heart. Then his hands slid down, cupped her shapely rear, and lifted her up, heading toward the bed.

"Tifa, I'm going to turn off the lights now." After placing her on the bed, he whispered in her ear.

Tifa, who already knew what Aiden wanted to do, hesitated for a brief second, then slowly nodded...

———

After the wind stopped and rain ceased, the room finally quieted down.

Tifa was breathing softly, the flush on her face not yet faded. She brushed aside her sweat-damp hair and rested her head on Aiden's chest, listening to the strong beat of his heart.

Aiden gently stroked Tifa's hair, then his big hand slid downward, along her smooth white back, stopping at her slender waist.

Neither of them spoke, seemingly still immersed in what just happened. But their synchronized breathing showed their hearts remained connected.

After resting for a while, Tifa adjusted her posture to lie more comfortably in Aiden's arms. Then she slightly raised her head and asked, "Aiden, will you come to Sector 7 again in the future?"

Tifa knew Aiden and Aerith liked each other, and now they were living together. Although she was the latecomer, she still had her own selfish wish, for Aiden to stay with her.

Aiden didn't answer, just kept gently caressing her waist.

Tifa's eyes dimmed. She continued, "I know you met Aerith first, so… if it feels too forced, then forget it."

"What do you mean 'forget it'?" Aiden's hand slid down and patted her butt, "I don't necessarily have to stay in Sector 7, and I don't have to stay in Sector 5 either. We can just live together, we can buy a bigger house."

"A bigger house?" Hope reignited in Tifa's eyes. She murmured, "But in Midgar, even in the slums, bigger houses are expensive. The money I earn from the bar mostly goes to support the organization's activities. I'm still living in a free apartment… Ugh, just thinking about it gives me a headache. I need to start making more money. I wonder how things are on Aerith's end? But selling flowers can't make much, right? Hmm… she definitely doesn't earn more than me."
