"I'm not a stingy person." Seeing Aiden's surprised expression, Yuffie waved her fist at him, then added, "Make sure to treasure it well!"
"I will." Aiden nodded, carefully putting the magic crystal stone away.
"Then… goodbye!" Seeing that Aiden accepted the magic crystal stone, Yuffie waved to him again, then controlled the chocobo, turned around, and left.

[Seventh Heaven Bar.]
Tifa was checking the goods on the inventory list as usual, while Aerith lay on the bar counter, staring at her blankly.
"Can't you help out a bit? Aerith." Tifa was displeased that the employee she hired was just watching coldly as the boss did the work. Although this employee came on her own and didn't even get paid much.
"I just don't have the energy." Aerith lazily raised her hand, grabbed the rag on the bar, wiped a few spots randomly, then stopped again and continued, "I didn't sleep well last night."
She didn't return home in Sector 5 last night. After calling her mom, Elmyra, she went with Tifa and stayed in room 202 next to Tifa's.
"You're the type who can't sleep in a different bed?" Tifa asked curiously.
Aerith shook her head and said, "No."
Tifa was even more puzzled. "Then why didn't you sleep well?"
"Without Aiden beside me, I couldn't fall asleep." Aerith yawned, "Usually, I hug him when I sleep. Without him last night, everything felt uncomfortable… especially the pillow. Aiden's arm is much more comfortable than any pillow."
Tifa, "…"
After feeling uncomfortable for a while, Tifa held back the sourness in her heart and said with irritation, "You couldn't sleep just from being apart one night. What will you do if he's away for a long time in the future? Never sleep again?"
"Hmph, I absolutely won't let him be away from me for more than two days." Aerith rested her chin in her hands, speaking firmly, "If it's over two days, wherever he goes, I'll go. Even if he doesn't agree, I'll secretly follow him."
Aerith's practically declarative blunt words stunned Tifa for a moment. Then she imagined how she'd react if Aiden were away for a long time. She'd probably be like Aerith too, go find him, then stick to him like glue.
Thinking this, Tifa snorted proudly. Her love for Aiden was no less than Aerith's.
"Then you better keep an eye on him. Don't let someone else steal him away." Tifa suddenly felt energized at work, quickly finished checking the goods on the list, wiped the nonexistent sweat from her forehead, and said.
Aerith caught the implication in her words but didn't care at all. She grinned and said, "I am a bit worried, but I'm the first one who met him. Even if someone tries to compete, they absolutely won't win against me."
"Is that so? But I remember I said last time, the first one who met him was Marlene." Tifa also sat at the bar, rested her chin in one hand, and looked at her with a half-smile.
"If it were another woman, I might agree with you, but Marlene… she's just a little girl. Aiden definitely wouldn't be interested in a little girl." Aerith was very certain, "She doesn't count."
"But Marlene will grow up." Tifa imagined a grown-up Marlene, "She'll definitely become a great beauty, no less than us big beauties. And she always clings to Aiden. Every time he comes, she's the happiest."
"But that would take at least over ten years, maybe…" Aerith cut herself off mid-sentence, suddenly feeling like Tifa might have a point.
Tifa also fell silent. She seemed to have convinced herself.
Women always overthink the weirdest things.
The two women, for the sake of a ridiculous possibility, stared at each other in deep thought. Even the sound of a motorcycle engine outside the bar didn't register with them.
"Aerith, Tifa, I'm back." Aiden walked into the bar while tugging at his collar. Out in the wilderness it didn't feel like much, but entering the city made the tightly wrapped trench coat feel stifling.
But seeing the two women sitting at the bar with no reaction, he stopped and asked puzzled, "What's with you two… what's wrong?"
No one answered.
Seeing no response, he walked between them, raised both hands, and waved them in front of their eyes, but still no reaction.
After thinking a bit, Aiden forcefully slapped the bar with a loud bang.
At that, the two women finally snapped out of it and stood up simultaneously, glaring angrily at him.
Aiden was confused. He didn't think he'd done anything wrong? How come after just one night, they were suddenly like this?
'Could it be… that it's their period at the same time? No way, right?' Aiden scratched his head in confusion.
Seeing Aiden's completely puzzled face, the two women finally came to their senses. Then they lowered their heads in shame, realizing they were actually jealous of a little girl.
But despite feeling remorseful, they didn't dare explain it to Aiden. Otherwise, the embarrassment would be too much.
Luckily, Aiden didn't press the issue and instead muttered about wanting something refreshing to drink. The two women finally sighed in relief. One helped him take off his trench coat, the other went to get a cold beer for him.
Aiden finished a glass of cold beer in one gulp, let out a satisfied breath, and began telling Aerith and Tifa about what happened during the mission.
"From Wutai?" When she heard that Aiden mentioned the person was from Wutai, Aerith frowned. She thought of Elmyra, her adoptive mother's husband died in the war between Shinra and Wutai. So besides being monitored by Shinra, her adoptive family made her hate Shinra even more.
Aiden took the second glass of cold beer handed by Tifa, drank half of it in one go, then burped, and continued, "Yeah, I heard they were sent by the provisional government of Wutai to assist the main Avalanche group. But whether they have other motives, I don't know."
As for Yuffie and Sonon's background with Wutai's provisional government, Aiden didn't know much. When he played the Remake DLC, most of his attention was on the adorable Yuffie. He usually skipped the plot dialogues, a bad gaming habit of his. Unlike anime, where he paid much more attention.
"No need to know. As long as they're here to deal with Shinra and don't get in our way, let them be." Tifa said indifferently. For the branch group, whatever the main group does is irrelevant. As long as it's anti-Shinra, it's a good thing.
"True." Aiden nodded, then took another sip of beer. The topic of Avalanche's main group and Wutai's provisional government ended quickly.
Since few customers came to the bar during the day, the three began a new conversation after finishing the last topic, what they most wanted to do after Shinra is overthrown.
This topic was brought up by Tifa, but Aerith wanted Aiden to speak first. After all, she had already said, wherever Aiden goes, she goes. She wanted to hear what he'd say.
"Probably go out and travel. The world's so big, I want to see it." Aiden thought for a bit before answering. Although he knew from the system's behavior that he'd probably be transported back after defeating Sephiroth in Midgar, traveling the Final Fantasy world was a dream of his. He liked fantasy worlds a lot and had already decided what to do the next time he came in.
"Me too, me too." Aerith had stayed in Midgar her whole life and had long wanted to go out. Although she had "seen" things before, experiencing them with her beloved was totally different.
"You better not leave me behind." Aerith added.
"Of course not." Aiden smiled and nodded.
"Yay!" Aerith cheered, pounced on Aiden, cupped his face, and kissed him hard. Then she held his arm and rested her head on his shoulder.
Then she looked at Tifa, and after thinking for a while, Tifa said, "I haven't gone back to my hometown in a long time. I want to go back to Nibelheim to pay respects to my parents. So… Aiden, when the time comes, will you go with me?"
She looked at Aiden with expectation and nervously waited for his response.
"You think I'd say no?" Aiden looked at Tifa and asked back.
"Of course not." Tifa's face lit up with joy. After hesitating, she also hugged Aiden and kissed him. Although her personality made her shy in front of others, since the "other" was her romantic rival, she felt she couldn't lose, and like Aerith, she hugged Aiden's arm tightly.
The soft sensation on both arms made Aiden feel amazing. It was far more satisfying than cold beer on a hot day. But after a moment, he pulled his arms free and actively wrapped them around their waists.
Aerith happily accepted his actions. She even pulled his hand tighter, trying to make him hold her closer.
Tifa, on the other hand, felt embarrassed. She hadn't forgotten that the bar's door was still open. Nervously, she looked back to see if anyone was watching. Seeing no one was, she finally relaxed.
But soon she became tense again, she felt Aiden's hand stroking her exposed waist. The touch was gentle but made her body tingle. That hand kept moving upward, seemingly aiming for her majestic peaks.
Tifa bit her lip, her face flushed red. She was embarrassed but didn't resist. Her increasingly rapid breathing revealed her current mood.
"Tifa, what's wrong?" Hearing Tifa's heavy breathing, Aerith asked, puzzled. She had no experience with such things and was dressed too conservatively, so Aiden had no way to touch her.
"Nothing… nothing." Of course Tifa wouldn't tell Aerith why. But in her heart, she felt happy. At least… in some aspects, she won.
"So weird." Aerith pouted, then happily changed her position, snuggling closer into Aiden's embrace to get more comfortable.
But this left-and-right embrace didn't last long. Just as Aiden was enjoying himself, Jesse's voice suddenly sounded from behind, "I really hate to interrupt, but may I come in now?"
All three turned around to see Jesse leaning against the doorframe, squinting at them.
"It's broad daylight, think about others too." Seeing them look back, Jesse continued, then took a few steps into the bar and shut the door behind her.
As she closed the door, Jesse let out a soft sigh. But when she turned around, her face wore a faint smile.
She glanced at Aiden's arms still around Aerith and Tifa and asked, "Is the motorcycle working well?"
"Very powerful." Aiden nodded.
"Of course. I personally modified it." Jesse proudly raised her head. She was very confident in her mechanical skills.
"If you like it, it's yours." She added.
"Sure." Aiden didn't hold back. He knew Jesse just wanted to hear that.
Sure enough, a hint of joy appeared in Jesse's smile. Aiden's straightforward answer made her feel much better.
She walked directly behind the bar, poured herself a glass of water, sat across from the three, and her gaze wandered among them.
Under her gaze, Aerith and Tifa couldn't stand the pressure, so they got up and sat on either side, leaving Aiden regretting it.
He hadn't enjoyed it enough.
