Prologue

In the realm of Astrolia, a world akin to Earth yet distinct in its absence of humans, a unique order governs the land. Astrolia is a realm where the mythical reigns, and its leadership structure mirrors the celestial realm above. At the pinnacle of this hierarchical world are the thirteen Zodians, akin to the earthly concept of Zodiacs, but here, they are the supreme rulers. These thirteen are not mere symbols in the stars but powerful entities, each choosing an attribute that reflects their nature and their rule.

The Zodians, or the Grand Leaders as they are also known, oversee a realm filled with treacherous landscapes and diverse peoples. From rugged mountains to murky swamps, the very land poses challenges to all who dwell within it. Yet, it is in these harsh climes that the strength and resilience of Astrolia's inhabitants are forged.

The thirteen Grand Leaders, each with their chosen attribute, guide and influence the world, their presence felt in the daily lives of all. They are the embodiment of power and mystery, their decisions shaping the destiny of Astrolia and all who reside within its realms. Among them, Aries, the Ram, embodies the element of fire and is symbolic of the God of War. To reach Aries's realm, one must journey towards the planet Mars, a path fraught with peril and conflict. Here, in the scorched battlefields and fiery forges, the key to war awaits those brave enough to seek it.

The second Grand Leader, Taurus, takes on the form of a heavenly bull, ruling over the earth element as the symbol of Zeus, the Ruler of the Gods. To gain access to Taurus's realm, one must embark on a quest across Astrolia, searching for the elusive bull and proving their worth by passing its trials.

Meanwhile, Gemini, the third Zodian, represents the first Air Element and the concept of twins. Luck and good fortune are said to favor those who seek to enter Gemini's realm, for it is a world where destiny plays a pivotal role.

In contrast, the fourth Zodian, Cancer, rules the waters, guided by Luna, the Goddess of the Moon. To find Cancer's realm, one must study the lunar cycles and tides, for the moon holds the key to navigating the treacherous seas that guard Cancer's domain.

The fifth Zodian, Leo, holds sway. Ruled by Sol, the Sun, Leo is the proud and mighty lion warrior, embodying the element of fire. His realm, known as the Pride Lands, is a place of scorching deserts and sun-drenched plains, where the strong and brave roam. To enter Leo's domain, one must possess a fierce heart and an unwavering sense of justice, for the Pride Lands are a trial by fire, testing the mettle of all who dare to venture there. The lion warrior's strength and leadership are an embodiment of his strong code, "Stand with Pride for the Pride Lands," a testament to his unwavering rule.

Beyond the Pride Lands, the sixth Zodian, Virgo, presides over the realm with a gentle and nurturing hand. Associated with the goddesses Demeter and Ceres, Virgo symbolizes purity and innocence. This Earth sign, symbolized by the Virgin, is a beacon of harmony and growth, guiding the realm's inhabitants with a motherly touch. The landscapes under Virgo's watch are lush and fertile, a stark contrast to the treacherous climes of other realms, offering a respite to weary travelers.

The seventh Zodian, Libra, brings balance to the realm of Middle-earth. Symbolized by the Scales, this Air sign embodies the concept of twin heads on a single body, representing the harmony between opposing forces. Libra's realm is a place of tranquil beauty, where justice and equilibrium are sought. Here, the scales of fate hang in the balance, and travelers must navigate the delicate dance between light and darkness, their choices weighing heavily on the realm's future.

The eighth Zodian, Scorpio, emerges from the shadows, their symbol, the scorpion, reflecting their deep and enigmatic nature. Ruled by the planets Pluto and Mars, this Zodian's constellation, Scorpius, shines brightly with its stars, Lesath and Shaula, both translating to "sting." Together, they embody the power and venom of the scorpion's tail. To seek an audience with Scorpio, one must navigate the treacherous deserts, where sandstorms and scorching heat test the hardiest of souls.

Beyond Scorpio's realm, the ninth Zodian, Sagittarius, takes the form of a centaur, their constellation forever pointing towards the star Antares, the heart of the scorpion. Their domain lies in the rugged mountains, where only the sure-footed and brave dare to venture. The centaur's arrow is always aimed at the heart, a symbol of their unwavering focus and determination.

As we journey further, the tenth sign, Capricorn, reveals itself as an ancient constellation. Deneb Algedi, its brightest star, translates from Arabic as "the tail of the goat." Capricorn's influence is felt in the desolate wastelands, where survival is a constant challenge, and only the resilient prevail. Their realm is a test of endurance, a trial that forges the strongest of Astrolia's inhabitants.

The eleventh sign, Aquarius, the eternal Water Bearer, takes center stage. Often depicted with an overflowing vase, Aquarius embodies the element of water and is known for their inquisitive nature, often lost in deep thought as they wander the realm.

Beyond Aquarius, Pisces, the twelfth sign, symbolizes the yin and yang through its twin fish. This perplexing pair, a brother and sister, represent the duality of good and evil, bringing chaos in their solitary forms but finding peace when united.

Finally, the thirteenth Zodian, Ophiuchus, the Snake Bearer, plays a pivotal role in maintaining harmony among the twelve primary signs. As the Arbitration Zodiac, Ophiuchus ensures peace and prevents conflicts from arising between the powerful Zodians. However, a sense of trepidation hangs in the air as one contemplates the consequences should Ophiuchus ever leave his post...
