Wolves vs. Harborview HawksFinal Score: Wolves 71 – Hawks 66
Part I: Pre-Game Energy
The gym was louder than ever. Packed bleachers. Banners waving. The semifinals weren't just another game—they were everything.
Coach Daniels clapped his hands in the locker room. "You've worked for this. Every minute, every drill, every rep—it led here. This is your moment."
Ryan stood beside him, scanning the team. His voice was calm but firm. "They're good. Fast on the break. But they leave gaps on the weak side. Watch their off-ball movement. We control the tempo, we control the game."
Ben adjusted his jersey, nodding with determination. Tyler bounced on his toes, locked in.
As they walked out onto the court, Savannah gave the cheer squad signal, and the crowd erupted. Anna, Sarah, Richard, and Evelyn were in the stands, hands clasped in hope.
Game time.
Part II: First Half — Back-and-Forth
From the first possession, it was a battle.
Ben drove to the hoop, took contact, and finished strong. The crowd roared.
Harborview answered with a deep three. Then a steal. Then a dunk.
Momentum shifted with every possession. Ryan kept his clipboard moving, whispering to Coach Daniels.
Midway through the second quarter, Tyler found his rhythm. A no-look pass to the corner. Assist. Then he hit a contested floater. The Wolves stayed close—down by 2 at halftime.
In the locker room, Ryan drew on the board. "They're overloading the left. When they pressure Ben, swing to Tyler. Trust the pass."
Ben nodded. "Let's go finish this."
Part III: Second Half — Tension Rises
Third quarter started hot. Ben and Tyler worked the floor like clockwork. The Wolves took the lead briefly, but Harborview pushed back with a barrage of threes.
Down by 4 with 2 minutes left in the third, Coach Daniels subbed in fresh legs. Ryan noticed the Hawks' point guard was slowing. "He's tired," he told Daniels. "Let's trap on their inbound. Pressure him."
It worked. Two turnovers in a row. Wolves tied it up heading into the fourth.
The tension in the gym was electric.
"Fourth quarter," Ryan said in the huddle. "This is where leaders are made."
Part IV: Final Minutes — Ryan's Call
With 1:30 left, the Wolves were up by 2. Harborview had the ball and momentum. They moved fast—too fast.
Ryan leaned toward Coach Daniels. "Box-and-one on their shooter. Deny him the ball. Let the others try."
Coach nodded. The adjustment came fast.
Next play—Harborview's top scorer couldn't get open. The shot they took was rushed. Missed.
Wolves rebounded.
On the other end, Tyler attacked, got fouled, and hit both free throws. Up by 4 now. The gym exploded.
Harborview hit a three, cutting it to 1.
Ben was fouled next play. He went to the line—drained both.
With seconds left, Harborview rushed a final shot, missed, and Tyler grabbed the rebound.

Ryan didn't say much—just exchanged a proud look with Coach Daniels. His call had saved the game.

The Wolves were going to the championship.
