The two get up and begin to make a run for it as the bear gives chase taunting them"Running won't help ya!„
The duo hit a dead end at a cliff,"We should jump we have no other choice!...„Laura says her breathing becoming heavy and frantic
Ryker looks at her a worried expression on his face"I don't know this seems like high drop...„she sighs"Well we have no other choice no do we?„she says to him,the bear getting closer and closer to them
"Fine let's do it.„Ryker nods in agreement,the stand on the edge and jump of the cliff
The fall into a river and swim up to the surface
"Ew salty water„Ryker says,spitting out the water and removing sea plants from his armor and clothes
"We need to get to land we don't what's in this water,we can't risk anything„Laura says while making her way to land with Ryker following behind her
They reach land and set their clothes on rocks for them to dry
"Don't look at me I'm naked close your eyes I'll cast us some clothes„she says covering her chest
"I'm already two steps ahead„Ryker says,his hands covering his eyes
"Good as you should be„she picks up her staff and waves it around as it begins to glow a crimson red
Clothes form around their bodies
"There all done you can open your eyes now„she taps his arm
"How many spells do you know?„he says with genuine curiosity
"Alot of spell really,because I'm an experienced mage so I can create my own spells but it takes a long time to master them,it can take up to months or years depending on what kind of spell I'm trying to create„she says while stretching
"Hmm that's interesting...„Ryker strokes his chin
"Don't think about it too hard it's confusing„she yawns"I'm so sleepy...„
She conjure up two sleeping bags and orders Ryker to forge fire wood "Go on and get some fire wood over there„she says pointing towards the trees in the distance
"Can't you conjure it up?it's so dark„Ryker says"There's no more equipment in inventory spell„she says shrug nonchalantly
"Oh that's convenient isn't it?„he says getting annoyed "Just go already„she smacks his butt with her staff

She tries to use healing spells but none work"None of my spells are working!„Rykers veins stop glowing and his eyes fade to white "R-r-ryker?„
His right eyes begins to turn black and gold his pupil darting around transform into a cross shape"Ugh!„he gasps loudly and sits up"W-what happened..?my body feels new and...strange...—!„Laura hugs him tightly

They pick up the fire wood and head back to their make shift campsite
The sit on their sleeping bags and Laura realizes Rykers eye is different
"Your eye!„she exclaims while pointing at his eye"My eye?what's wrong with it?„Laura takes out a mirror and shows him his strange gold and black eye with a cross where his pupil used to be
"Oh my goodness...„he says holding the right side of his face"What did that orb do to me...?„Laura's face turns into one of curiosity
"Orb what orb?„Ryker nervously chuckles"So um when I was collecting fire wood a weird floating orb appeared and it looked cool so I tried to take it as a souvenir...„she bonks his head with her staff"ARE YOU STUPID?!WHY WOULD YOU JUST GRAB A OMINOUS GLOWING SPHERE?!„Ryker covers his head from her assault"It seemed like a good idea at the time ok?!„Laura backs away and rubs her forehead and examines his weird eye
"Lets just hope this isn't some infection,I doubt so because my healing spell didn't recognize it as a illness of sorts so you're lucky but now I wonder what that is...?„
Ryker yawns "Some other time im too tired for this„Laura sighs and nods"Yeah I am quite tired she plops ontop of her sleeping bag
They both enter their sleeping bags and doze off
Ryker wakes up in a field of grass and crosses

He gets and begins to walk around the vast space "I swear if something jumps out of these giant crosses I'm gonna beat it up„he says clenching his fists

He turns around quickly and backs away,he sees a shadow figure in a trench coat staring at him
"Who the hell?!„he enters a fighting stance

Ryker tries to scream and run but his body won't allow him and the figure caresses the right side of Rykers face"Requiem„the figure says and before Ryker could react his skin and the figure begin to crack and light spews from the cracks
Their bodies shatter a blinding light is only what's left
