A New Adventure Begins!

The wire shot straight for Sukiro's head, slicing through the air with deadly precision it's aim is sukiro neck—and it landed a perfect hit. The party froze, stunned and terrified. But to their shock, Sukiro caught the wire with his bare hand at the last second barely managing to save his life

Donna's eyes widened in disbelief. Still, she didn't hesitate—three seconds was all she had. She dashed forward, launching a kick into Sukiro's chest. He was sent flying backwards, crashing through the air like a flying towards a wall. Donna followed up, her fist colliding with his ribs as he crashed into the ground.

She raised her hand to finish the job—

But the three seconds were up.

A gust of wind blew as the spell seals shattered. The party was free.

Sebastian's boot struck Donna's ribs, sending her skidding back. The rest of the Emeralds jumped from above to sukiro and formed a circle around him with sukiro in the center 

The king annoyed got up from his chair "Do not interfere, Emeralds this is the matter of the kingdom we will handle this!"

Sebastian looked up to where the king is . "We can't interfere if it's our business" he said Coldly "he is our responsibility"

The king's gaze hardened his voice raised "Stop protecting him like He is normal"he said his hands moving aggressively poin ting towards sukiro "he emerged from an S-rank dungeon's boss room what part of this do you think is normal!"

Sirius stepped in. "So what? He's just a kid a innocent one at that! He is of no danger to us"

Sapphire's voice trembled with defiance as she was healing sukiro."Why do you want to kill him? He hasn't done anything." 

"He will," the king snapped. "He is a monster in disguise, and I am sure he will bring destruction to our Kingdom"

Sebastian stood firm. "He is innocent. And we protect the innocent no matter what and you know that this is the emeralds way! we stand against however it maybe. Even if it's the king himself."

A long silence followed. The tension was high, the guards were ready and the king was deciding on his next action 

Sebastian thought "what's it gonna be? Will the king take the right action or should I force him to take it!"

Sapphire has a worried look on her face she yelled "sukiro! Are you ok?" 

Sukiro lying on the ground blood flowing from his mouth, he barely formed a sentence "i- don't think I am ok?" Blood spattering from his mouth 

Elijah shouted "obviously idiot blood is spattering from your mouth"

"Tch," the king grunted. "Fine. But you'll take full responsibility for him."

Sebastian smiled faintly. "Don't worry, Your Majesty. We will do everything in our power."

The guards slowly lowered their weapons and so did the party 

The guards slowly moved towards the side making a way out for them 

Elijah picked up sukiro putting him on his shoulders. The party was still on their guard and sebastian led the way out 

Elijah grunted "what you looking at!?"

The guards stood silent saying nothing some stared some didn't..

The Emeralds turned, escorting Sukiro as they left the capital. The guards watched in silence. They boarded a vehicle and headed into the open land leaving the capital behind 

Inside the vehicle, the mood was tense but lighter.

Sebastian sighed. "I don't know what's wrong with that man honestly, why does he hate him so much?"

Sirius nodded. "He's afraid. He can't accept someone like Sukiro coming out of a dungeon he fears him."

Sapphire frowned. "There's nothing wrong with him look at him is just a kid! Hardly 16!."

Klaus smirked while driving the vehicle. "Guys, you know he's right here, right?"

Elijah groaned. "Now we have to babysit him the dumbest human on earth who doesn't know anything. And the capital probably hates us for what happened.'

Sapphire smiled. "At least we're all in this together right!"

Sebastian glanced around at his party. "Well, I guess as long as we have each other that's good enough."

Sirius grinned. "Yeah, that's for sure we've got each other."

Klaus smiled and Elijah let out a little smile "this is so corny just end me" 

The party bust out laughing, sebastian smiled "we even have the great Elijah the mage of every element with us! He will protect us all for sure"

Elijah shocked "protect! Hell nah i don't even know who you are?!" 

And then sukiro who was completely lost spoke 

 "Where are we even going? And... what am I supposed to do now?"

Sebastian turned to him. "Well, Sukiro, we're hunters. We travel around the kingdom and sometimes outside it to raid dungeons. We collect materials, sell them, and craft weapons. we protect the innocent and make sure the monsters don't get out." He grinned 

Sebastian than remembered something important "ohh i almost forgot to introduce ourselves" 

He gestured to himself. "I'm Sebastian Wolf. Fighter-class."

Sapphire chimed in, smiling. "Sapphire Jol. Healer."

"Sirius Ven. Tank," said Sirius with a grin.

"Klaus. The Alchemist around here," Klaus added with a shrug still focused on driving.

"Elijah," said the mage curtly.

Sebastian nudged him. "Introduce yourself properly."

Elijah just looked away.

Sebastian sighed. "That's Elijah—the grumpy old lady also the mage of the party. Elijah yelled from behind

Now that you're with us, we've got to figure out your class and rank. Because, like it or not, you're gonna be a hunter."

Sukiro blinked. "What's a hunter?"

"What?" Sebastian looked baffled.

Elijah groaned. "Great. A potato-head. Just perfect."

Sebastian chuckled. "Okay. Hunters are people who can absorb mana from their surroundings and convert it into magic. And our mission is to protect our world from the monsters of the other world" 

He added on "This monsters travel to our world through dungeons unless we kill them as so hunters have to raid dungeons"

"When raiding a dungeon or training properly hunter unlock skills"

"Skills are very important it let's us to transform our body or charge a super attack of magic towards an enemy."

"When a skill is unlocked, we hear a voice the Voice of the World. It also speaks when our rank increases aswell it basically speaks when you get stronger"

He continued, "Ranking up requires increasing your mana consumption rate meaning your ability to absorb mana from your surroundings For most, that takes decades of training. But some can do it faster but there are just mostly talented,gifted or receiving training from S rank hunters

Hunters also range from E-rank to S-rank. Above that, there are Elite S-ranks. To qualify, your mana consumption must exceed 10,000 in simple words you should be able to absorb 10,000 mana. I'm an Elite S-rank myself." He smirked 

Sukiro tilted his head. "Okay… so what are dungeons?"

"I'm not even surprised anymore," Elijah muttered rolling his eyes 

Sirius explained, "Dungeons are portals to monster-filled world. This world is called the world of monsters and the dungeons or its way to invade our world

They first came around 2000 years ago 

They absorb mana and convert it into magic just like us. The heart of a dungeon is the boss room. Defeat the boss, and the dungeon collapses as it's the boss who powers the gates with his mana."

"Got it," Sukiro nodded. "But what am I supposed to do now?"

Sebastian leaned back. "You don't have a home, you're a stranger to this world, and the capital wants you dead. So, either you stick with us which means you become a hunter or you go off on your own and risk getting caught."

Sukiro shrugged. "so basically that means I have no choice ."

"Yes, Mr. Pea-Brain," Elijah muttered.

Klaus looked outside. "It's night."

Sebastian nodded. " Well ok then Land the vehicle. Let's Set up camp it's Time to sleep."

The vehicle landed the party took out the supplies needed out of the vehicle 

Elijah then used his fire magic and set up a campfire 

The party took turns keeping watch.

During Sebastian's shift, he sat near the fire. Sapphire quietly joined him.

"What do you think will happen?" he asked.

"We've got a new member a innocent one at that." she said softly. "I think we'll be okay."

Sebastian frowned. "He's so lost. He doesn't even know the basics of this world."

Sapphire giggled. "He's like a baby, right? A newborn baby!"

Sebastian chuckled. "If you put it that way… yeah. I just wonder what his rank is."

She gently grabbed his hand. "Everything's gonna be fine, okay? Let's just relax"

Sebastian smiled. "Yea, that's probably what i should do"

The flames crackled quietly as the night embraced them and a new path began for the Emeralds and their new member!
