How Everything Begin

Joaqin's eyes trembled when he heard whispers clearly in his ears; he was currently at the Harmony Tamer headquarters, which looked like a playground and had different terrains around this circular building.

This place was deliberately made with various terrains to make it easier for the Tamer to get used to the habitat of the Beasts here. 

Currently, Joaqin is in an artificial forest at the headquarters and in front of him is a small deer that is looking at him curiously. Joaqin slowly approaches the deer, hoping that it won't run away from him... again.

"Easy, boy. I have no evil intentions towards you," whispered Joaqin, trying to smile, even though he could feel the corners of his lips stiffly raised.

The little deer tilted its head while continuing to stare at Joaqin, who was getting closer and closer to it. Slowly, Joaqin's hand reached out to touch the little deer, of course, with anxious feelings raging in his heart. 

Seeing the hand reaching out to him, the little deer kissed Joaqin's hand for a few moments. Feeling that he had a chance, Joaqin's eyes shone brightly, and he dared to touch the little deer.

It's just that moments after Joaqin's hand touched the top of the little deer's head, the little deer immediately ran away into the dense forest around them. 

Laughter broke out around Joaqin. The Beast Tamers, who were also at the headquarters, laughed at Joaqin's inability.

Joaqin's heart felt like it was pierced by a thousand knives when he heard the laughter and scorn of the people around him. Nowadays, no one sees him as the first prince of the Ziviel Kingdom. 

After failing to awaken his magical talents, Joaqin had been underestimated by some of the people of Ziviel. The reason was that no member of the royal family had failed to awaken their magical talents and when Joaqin failed, almost everyone had automatically lost hope in him. 

Because he did not have magical powers, Joaqin could not become an Arcane Tamer who relied on mystical powers to tame Beasts. That is why Joaqin is at the Harmony Tamer headquarters today.

Joaqin has not given up on finding his place as a Beast Tamer, even though the position of Harmony Tamer is not very high. At least he can still restore his pride if he succeeds here. 

Harmony Tamers have an aura that Beasts like. They take advantage of this aura and their closeness to nature to tame a Beast. Usually, they are very friendly Beast Tamers among the other Tamers.

Only this time, Joaqin failed again; he couldn't even tame a small deer that a beginner Beast Tamer should have been able to quickly tame. 

Even the generous Harmony Tamer laughed at his inability. Joaqin was actually used to being laughed at or insulted.

What hurt his heart even more was the disappointed look directed at him. Joaqin gritted his teeth with overflowing emotion. The only chance left for him to become a Beast Tamer was to become a Dominion Tamer.

It's just that it's challenging to become a Dominion Tamer because they use force to tame the Beast. Joaqin saw himself as thin with a tall body; to be honest, he was not confident in his strength. 

But Joaqin must not give up here as long as there is a chance he will do anything. Joaqin must not make his father more disappointed than he is now.

His mother's position in the Kingdom will be threatened if Joaqin cannot prove himself to become the Crown Prince. Joaqin must not be left behind by his other siblings!

Joaqin did not just stand there idly in the forest area, he turned around and intended to train in combat and prepare to take the exam to become a Dominion Tamer next week.

It's just that Joaqin had only taken a few steps when his steps were stopped by a voice he knew very well. 

"Aren't you really pathetic, older brother? Even after trying to tame the Beast in 12 areas in this place, you still failed; you'd better give up than embarrass yourself even more than this." A childish and arrogant young man's voice was heard not far from Joaqin. 

Without looking back, Joaqin knew who was talking to him, it was Elliot, who was Joaqin's brother from one of the king's concubines.

Joaqin had no intention of listening to the nonsense that Elliot was spouting, he often looked for trouble with Joaqin and enjoyed making him angry. 

Seeing Joaqin ignore him, Elliot did not remain silent. A grin was seen as Elliot walked closer to Joaqin, who intended to leave the Harmony Tamer headquarters.

"Do you think that by ignoring me, I will let you go?" Elliot turned to his friends and shook his head slowly at them. 

Knowing what to do, two of Elliot's friends immediately grabbed Joaqin's hands, preventing him from leaving.

Elliot grinned with pleasure when he saw Joaqin helpless. He walked closer and began to stretch out his hand to strangle Joaqin's neck. 

"Give up. You don't deserve to be the Crown Prince of this Kingdom. And take away your sick mother. This Kingdom doesn't need a queen like her." Elliot whispered coldly, right next to Joaqin's ear.

Jaoquin's eyes turned red with anger, his hands clenched tightly, intending to punch Elliot in the face until he was beaten to a pulp. But Joaqin was helpless because Elliot's grip on his neck was firm, and now he could feel himself running out of breath.

Even though they were only two years apart in age and Elliot was only 17 years old, Joaqin could feel how big the difference in strength was between them. Thinking about this made Joaqin's hatred for Elliot even greater. 

"So you still have the nerve to look at me like that." Elliot laughed happily when he saw the sharp gaze Joaqin gave him.

Elliot waved his hand, and his two friends immediately released their grip on Joaqin's arms. At the same time, Elliot threw Joaqin so hard that he hit the ground with a loud noise. 

"If you still want to live, listen to what I say and give up your right as Crown Prince."

Elliot's voice sounded faint in Joaqin's ears. With his consciousness almost fading away, Joaqin saw several shadows beginning to move away from him. 

Joaqin coughed on the ground while holding his now bruised neck. No one intended to help Joaqin at this time; they just watched from a distance and slowly left Joaqin lying helplessly on the ground.
