The Path of Resolve

Yor had found the truth—he wasn't the boy he once thought he was. The blood of the First King ran through his veins, and the mysterious dream, the sealed memories, and the words of his adoptive parents had all led him to a singular conclusion: he was not just a boy named Yor Satoshi. He was someone meant for more.

But with the truth came a burden heavier than any sword he had ever wielded. If he wasn't powerful enough, he couldn't protect anyone. Enemies lurked in every corner of the world, both known and unknown. Though he didn't fear them, he feared that his weakness would bring harm to the people he loved. His motivation was clear—his family.

Driven by desperation and determination, Yor approached the man he once called Father. The same man who used to only stare at his sword in silence now responded with cold clarity. From that moment, a brutal journey began.

Every day was agony. Every lesson left bruises, both in body and mind. The training pushed him into the depths of hell. Yet, Yor never cried. Not once. He bore it all, because weakness was not an option.

Two years passed. Yor was no longer a helpless boy. He had become a Level 2 Rank Mid Fighter, forged through raw talent and merciless training. But this was not his awakening. This was merely his potential—his natural aptitude.

His father looked at him one day, after a long spar, and spoke, "You were born for something great, Yor. And every great thing comes with great risk. You have a talent for swordsmanship, but your awakening is not tied to the sword. The very fact that you can manipulate mana already shows your compatibility. I believe your awakening will shake the world. There are secrets within you even I cannot understand."

He placed a hand on Yor's shoulder. "You're already fifteen. In five years, you'll be eligible to enter the Selection Trial. Until then, you must grow stronger. I've taught you everything I can."

But before his training began, his sister had been taken away by a mysterious man for training. That memory haunted Yor more than anything else. He swore he would find her. Swore he would become strong enough to protect her no matter what.
