The First King

Xandriel was preparing for his new Magic Academy his parent approached him and asked "My dear, why did you enter the tournament? You know you can get in to the academy anytime with our help"

"Father, Mother I'm sorry but I want to prove myself in front of everyone, I don't want them to think I got in because of my status" Xandriel replied with assuring face.

Queen Merium then hug him and said with a cracking voice" Oh! My son you have grown so much" his father was standing behind them with a proud face.

In the country side Victor was also preparing for his new journey then his grandparents come and said with a tearful and sad voice "My Victor you worked so hard for this, now go on and enjoy yourself and remember don't let anyone looked down on you and be true to yourself. Don't worry about us ok."

After they said goodbye to each other Victory went on to join the Magic Academy in the Kingdom.

As the bell rang everyone gathered in the academy hall then the Academy Headmistress Madam Ysmera Flameborn came up and welcome the new student.

"This year we have a very special and interesting among the new student, you may already heard of this let's welcome the Tournament champion Prince Xandriel Vanquish and Victor Black" Ysmera said with an excited and welcoming voice.

The student then murmured and looked at them with a disgusted face and jealousy face but Victor came up.

"Good morning everyone!" Victor said with a loud voice and determined face "I hope we can work together and get along; it is my dream to enrol in the Academy and become the strongest in the continent and someday become The Emrylin Knight!" Everyone was shocked and began to laugh.

Xandriel find Victor amusing and funny and good heart at the same time.

After that the class began and Xandriel and Victor was in the same class and become partner in everything. Soon the whole Academy began to know them as The Balance as Xandriel was excellent in everything especially in magic while Victor is the muscle house.

One evening Xandriel asked requested to Victor" Would you like to have a sparring with me in the castle" then Victor with a sparkling eye and excited face replied while holding Xandriel hand"yes! I would love that" Xandriel was feeling creep form Victor and pulled away his hand quickly.

They began to fight in the training ground their sword meet every time and after a while they heard a noise outside and went to look what is happening.

It was The Emrylin Knight, Elowen Thornvale known as the Needle and Orin Duskforge the King's Sword. Xandriel noticed that Victor was looking at them with an admiring face, Xandriel said "come, I'll introduce them to you" and went to them.

"No! Xandriel come back I'm not prepared for this!" Victor said with a trembling panic voice. Xandriel then came along with Elowen and Orin and introduce Victor to them.

The Knight offer their hand to shake Victor was trying to clam down his hand from shaking by holding his hand with the other hand. Then Knight and Xandriel watched him with confused and after they shake their hand Victor passed out from excitement.

Victor was carried to the guest room. At night Xandriel had a dream, he was in a quiet place full of darkness suddenly he saw the Kingdom burned and crumbled, the people were running with fear, the children were crying three people were standing beside him and then a human shadow figure appeared in the tip of the castle smiling.

A strong wind started to blow, then huge shadow dragon appeared and flew over the kingdom and his trail left destruction everywhere, at the same time a Crimson Dragon emerged from the Dragon Heart Kingdom underground. The two Dragon start to battle, destroy the kingdom, people were scream and burn due to the heat emitted from the battle.

Xandriel mana got out of control and began to release a force, Victor noticing the mana came running to Xandriel and tried to wake him up but his action was useless then he punched him as hard as he can and sent Xandriel unconscious.

In the morning Xandriel finally awake and find his room all messy and thought" What happened last night" and then he saw Victor sleeping next to him. Xandriel then scream out loudly "Victor! What did you do to me? Oh no! you defiled me!" then began to cry dramatically.

Victor woke up with a headache and said" why are you screaming so loud in the morning? You are giving me a headache" then Xandriel grab his clothes and began to shake him angrily "What did we do last night tell me now!" Victor gets dizzy from all the shaking.

"Calm down you had a nightmare and your mana get out of control, I tried to wake you but noting work so I punch you and you fell asleep" said Victor with a low, sleepy voice and barely making sense.

Xandriel then remember his dream last night and began to have many questions also confused. Xandriel then said" Get dress we need to go somewhere "but Victor was still half asleep and mumble words that sounded like a mix of dream and reality.

Xandriel then kicked out Victor form his room then prepared himself for the day.

Xandriel with Victor arrived to the school library and they began to search anything about the Kingdoms history and dragons. After hour of searching, they stumble on an old and mysterious book that give out an eery vide then he began to read the book.

"Long ago a young Crimson Dragon was hurt and on the verge of death in the forest then a human came along, decided to help the Dragon and care his wound and feed him. Time went on the Dragon started to grow bigger and stronger, the human and the Dragon bond became stronger and form a contract with the human named Arthur Vanquish."

Xandriel was shocked to hear that his great grandfather was the human in the book then continued to read it.

"With the help of the dragon Arthur conquered the whole continent within a year, Arthur then built the Dragon Heart kingdom. But jealousy and envy began to take over the heart of the people, and formed a group called The Genesis and began to search for power to challenged King Arthur and dominate the world."

"The Genesis cannot find anything strong enough to challenge King Arthur then decided to create a force powerful enough to stand against him. The Genesis then began to used Dark Forbidden Magic and conducted an experiment to their own member, some were successful but not strong enough and the failed experiment turned and changed themselves into terrified monster"

"Finally, after conducting countless experiment on people, they succeeded, one of the experiments called Shadow egg, it was their strongest creation one touch can made you decayed. So, they tried to created a being strong enough to handle the egg, then capture a King Arthur brother Rowan Vanquish and merged the shadow egg energy inside him. After they completed the egg started to glow and flow to Rowan, he then began to changed. His eye is fill glowed red, his skin turn pale like the colour of ashes, his heart was filled with hatred and darkness, his hair turned pitch black and began to have scales."

"The shadow egg soon began to hatched and a shadow dragon appeared, the shadow dragon started to grow as he was natured in the wrong way from his birth, the Shadow dragon was brutal and merciless, he only followed Rowan as he can sense the same man and darkness in him. Rowan invaded many places and began to spread fear and terror, soon the entire continent knows The Genesis. King Arthur then tried to stop them and soon the first war-The Crimson shadow War took place."

"Arthur found out that the Shadow Dragon master was none other than his own brother, because of that he was more determined to stop the war. Arthur first tried to reason with Rowan but his words did not reached him at all, the only way to reached him is to drive out the darkness in him, but to drive out such a strong forced he must used all his mana and sacrificed himself. So, he to saved his brother the dragon infused him with the purest dragon fire and charge with a great speed and pierced through Rowan heart then poured his Dragon fire and his own life force to him"

"Arthur soon began to passed away saving his brother, as the darkness in Rowan heart disappear the Shadow dragon became weaker and smaller and turned back into an egg form. As Arthur and Rowan both fall from the sky the crimson dragon caught them and head towards the Dragon Heart Kingdom. The dragon reached the kingdom and placed them both on the ground, after that they held a funeral for the King, while Rowan was in the healing room, after the funeral Rowan was gone and no one saw him left, he disappeared in a flash"
