DXD: YOROKOBE SHOUNEN (WC)

When I got recruited as a contractor for the company, I kept asking myself a question: why of all people, was I even considered contractor material.

Let me start by saying, I am a Christian, I believe in God.

Just because the company could make me a god does not mean I will stop believing in God.

Anyway, I chose the world of DXD and Issei Hyoudou substitute.

No, no. I am not a pervert or anything like that. I came to this world for a specific ministration after all. For a world that has many mythologies, there are a lot of unfaithful people here. I plan to change that.

Walking to my destination, I notice when I pass the barrier that makes normies not want to approach this location.

Standing before the wooden door, I start to bang on it and it doesn't take long before someone opens the door.

Before me is a very beautiful and endowed girl wearing the school uniform of Kuoh academy, long black hair in a ponytail with purple orbs for eyes.

She is the type of girl that any boy would want to sacrifice their life for.

Not me though, the only person I can sacrifice my life for is the lord.

Akeno Himejima looks at me with a curious expression on her face.

Adorning a long black robe that has a clerical collar, a white cross necklace and a Bible on my hand, I told her clearly what I was here for.

"Excuse me miss, do you have a moment to talk about our lord and personal savior, Jesus Christ?"

Akeno shut the door on my face.

"Wait a minute, wait a minute!" I keep banging at the door. "At least take this."

She opens the door again, this time I can see obvious annoyances on her face.

I'm sure she would have probably killed me if I was someone else but she clearly recognizes me due to Rias so she won't do anything. Anything extreme at least. I hope.

"Here you go." I pass her a pamphlet which she receives.

"What is this supposed to be?" She asks, looking at it.

The header of the pamphlet reads: Poor lamb, come let me show you the way.

"I am inviting you to become born again." I say to her.

Akeno looks at me with a sweet smile that sends chill running through my spine.

"You are Issei Hyoudou, correct?" She asks.

"That is correct miss Akeno…" I reply.

"Oh? You know my name…" She says as she folds her left arm under her breasts while her right one cups her cheek, with half-lidded eyes and a sultry smile, she continued. "Why don't you come inside and tell me more about how you plan to born me again? I'm sure my friends would be interested in becoming born again as well."

An obvious trap if I've ever seen one. I know that no one from Rias' peerage would readily hurt me, so I wonder what her goal is.

"Fufufu, my eyes are up here, Hyoudou-san." Akeno fufufu'd, having caught me staring.

Damn you and your instinctual hormones Hyoudou Issei.

"I'm sorry about that but those things are even more sinful than Jezebel."

Akeno looks at me for a moment and then laughed. I could somehow tell that the laughter was genuine. Well, she was also holding her stomach in obvious mirth.

"That's a new one…" She says as her laughter tapers off to chuckles. "Well, why don't you come with me." She says but doesn't give me any chance to respond as she grabs hold of my hand not holding the Bible, pulling me inside the building.

Akeno holds my hand all the way through the stairs and the halls until we came before the door leading to where the main cast of DXD are usually present.

Opening the door. "Akeno? Who was that?" Rias asks looking in our direction then paused as her eyes landed on mine.

"You are…" She begins, obviously lost for words as she takes in my appearance.

To the side, I can see Koneko sleeping on the couch and Kiba seated on a different chair with a book on his hand as he looks at me.

"Sorry to intrude miss Rias, my name is Issei Hyoudou and I have come bearing tales of our lord and personal savior."

Rias blinks.

Kiba blinks.

Koneko stirs.

Akeno fufu'd

"What?" Rias settled on.

Looking at all these Devils before me, I smile internally. It seems like evangelism will proceed smoothly today.
