Chapter 11: The Spirit Severing Master and the Scarlet Veil
—Espionage, Seduction, Hidden Orders, Power Play—
Tian Mo stood before the Mirror Shard again, the cold light of fate splintering across its jagged surface. This time, the image that emerged shimmered blood-red.
A man, cloaked in shadow, eyes hollow with experience, moved through battlefields like a wraith.
Zhao Wuying.
Once a prodigy of Terra's Red Lotus Sect. Now exiled. Rumors marked him as early Spirit Severing Realm, hiding on Earth among a secretive group of female cultivators known as the Scarlet Veil—a sect of assassin concubines who used pleasure and poison to bring empires down.
Tian Mo's lips curled.
He's strong. But tired. Alone. Distrustful of Terra. He can be bought… or broken.

The Mission
"Scarlet Veil operates like a ghost clan," Yin Hua briefed. "Each member is blood-oathed. They don't serve individuals—only causes."
"And what is their cause?" Tian Mo asked.
"Balance," she said grimly. "They kill those who tip the scales of the mortal world too far. Cultivators. Kings. Heirs. Sect masters."
He chuckled. "They'll love me, then."

Anna's Infiltration
Anna disguised herself as a wandering rogue cultivator and staged a small power eruption in Rio de Janeiro's spiritual zone. Sure enough, within a night, two women of the Scarlet Veil approached her, masked, graceful, and lethal.
They offered "guidance."
She offered bait.
A trail of desire.
A whispered name: Tian Mo.
By the time they realized the trap, it was too late.

The Scarlet Confrontation
Inside an abandoned opera house laced with Qi suppression wards, Tian Mo met Zhao Wuying face to face.
The man was tall, hair grey at the temples, with the sharp, cruel gaze of one who had survived too many wars. Two Scarlet Veil assassins flanked him—both Spirit Core cultivators, beautifully trained, prepared to die.
"You're the one building a shadow throne beneath Earth," Zhao said calmly.
"And you're the one hiding under a woman's skirt," Tian Mo replied.
Tension cracked.
Then, Tian Mo smiled. "We're both tired of gods who failed us. But I offer my women power. Purpose. Pleasure. I offer them a future where we sit on top—not bowing beneath Heaven's Chosen."
He looked at the assassins. "And I offer you release."
He unleashed his aura—a chaotic storm of blood-honed desire and immortal will.
One of the assassins collapsed to her knees, moaning in spiritual submission.
The other trembled but stood firm.
Zhao's fingers flexed—but he didn't attack.
"Keep your leash tight, boy," Zhao said finally. "But if you truly mean to rebuild from the rot… I'll watch. For now."
---
Outcome
Zhao Wuying was not yet loyal—but curious. A potential ally or thorn, depending on Tian Mo's path.
The Scarlet Veil's influence was split. One of their commanders, the woman who submitted, named herself:
Mei Lan — Mistress of Poisons.
She chose to join Tian Mo's harem, willingly.

Meanwhile…
Lilith awakened—naked in a spirit pool, her bloodline finally stable. Her gaze found Tian Mo's, and she crawled toward him with instinct, not thought.
"You are mine," he said simply.
She nodded, lips trembling. "Yes… Master."
