Chapter Seven : The Baby

Me nervously not knowing should I tell him or not . Standing in front of his office door .

He came out shocked and looked on his face, his green eyes sparkling to see me .

He pulled me in and closed his office door. Next thing I know, I'm on his chest, him holding me .

" This is a surprise to see you here ." He said, smiling. He lifted me up and pinned me to the door. He started to kiss me . His other hand under my shirt.

" Jacob No ," I gasped , pushing him away , looking like a sad puppy . I blushed. " It's not like I don't want to. I might be pregnant ." I said

Jacob put me down, " Really." he said, getting excited.

" Yes , but I didn't want to do the pregnancy test without you ." I said, holding my purse.

" Okay." He said

I came out of the bathroom, Jacob, waiting for me . It looked like he was going to pounce on me . He calmly walked up to me .

" What's the result, Maddy ?"He asked

I showed him the four pregnancy test results . Everyone of it is positive. He smiled with joy.

" Maddy , I'm so happy I'm going to be a dad." He kisses me. I kiss him back.

"I'm glad you're happy." I said, smiling

" Of course I'm am Maddy, oh I can't wait, boy or girl, I can't wait to meet them ." He said, holding me. I smiled. Because Scott would've never given me a child.

" Let's go today and celebrate. I'll cancel work today." He said, pulling me closer to him .

We celebrated at V's Restaurant + Bar the food was delicious . Now, I realized this the first time I ever went out on a date . This man gives me joy I can never get from Scott.

We finally left the restaurant and headed to my villa . Jacob still held my hand and kissed it.

" Literally just wanted to thank you for being the mother of my child. I always wanted to know what it was like . To have one on my own with the person. I adore and love . I hope I am not pressuring you with feelings." He said

I shook my head and said, "No , because I loved you too. Since the first time we got to know each other." I said

I went over to kiss him and pulled back . His cheeks were red shocked and smiled. He walked me to my door and kissed me goodnight.

" See you tomorrow. Love you." He said

" I love you too goodnight." I said, He looked back, smiled, and left .

I wanted to tell my friend everything but it'll have to wait . Because we wanted to make sure everything goes to plan.

At school I have been receiving beautiful flowers . Everyone stares as I admire it thinking about Jacob.

" You got flowers. How pretty I wonder who's the lucky guy." I turned it was Amanda.

" What do you want ?" I said rudely

" Nothing, just you know ." She said, showing the engagement ring on her finger . " Just you know Scott proposed to me." she added

" Okay, and what's that's got to do with me ." I said angrily glared at Amanda flustered face .

" I wanted to tell you since you're still Scott's friend. And I wanted to invite you to my engagement party." Amanda said

I sighed, feeling annoyed by her. "Look what you and Scott going on is nonetheless my business. Nor you don't need my concentration for it . If you truly love him, you wouldn't be doing this . And married him anyway. "

Amanda stormed away without saying a word. I texted Jacob to let him know what Amanda just told.

Later that day, Ginny and Billy spent time with me . I'm watching horror movies , playing games, and eating my favorite snacks. She brought me some gender mutual baby clothes. And some stuff animals .

The three of us laughed enjoying each other company. Ginny and Billy spent a night . We are all sleeping on the sofa in the living room.

I got a call from Jacob. I got excited, and I answered the phone .

" I was wondering when you are going to call me ." I said

" I'm glad I did. I got great news , Remember I said I'll handle Amanda and Scott Wedding." He said

" Yes, I remembered ." I said

"Will I already get our marriage certificate set date. We'll go tomorrow and sign it together."He said cheerfully

" Ok." I said

" I'll pick you up tomorrow, okay? Love you, see you tomorrow," Jacob said.

" Okay, see you tomorrow. Love you too." I said

I hang up. Ginny grinding smiled. I got startled.

" So that was the baby father, he he." she said

" Yes, it was ." I said

"Gezz girl, I wish you'll tell me who it is, but I get it, though." said Ginny

Sitting next to me .

" I promise you, Ginny, when that day comes, I'll tell you." I said

" Okay." Said Ginny

After we ate breakfast together. Ginny and Billy left, saying goodbye. After they left, the door bell rang. I opened it because I knew who it was .

"What do you want , Are you here for a death wish." Said angrily and glared at him.

He got frightened from what I said.

" If you not going to tell me, then goodbye ." I said

" Wait , what did you say to Amanda. She came home and started crying." He said

"Oh. So what did she tell you, Mr. Scott ." I said crossed my arms. I'm curious if he'll dare to protest against me . I can see him getting nervously. I chuckled inside.

" That's what I thought if you got nothing else to say . Then go away before she starts looking for you." I said slammed the door in his face.

I swear that man Scott got some nerves thinking he'll be a man . But I won't say anything . Serves him right what's coming to him . I can't wait for that day to come.
