Chapter Nine: Counter attack

At The County Clerk office, both my parents ,Ginny, Billy, and his . Including our lawyers there as witnesses . Billy and Ginny were shocked but still supported it . Once, they learned who was the lucky man . But promise to keep it quiet when the time is right . When I told my parents what happened. My dad was upset and wanted to kill Scott . My mother cried, holding me. But I calm them down after telling them Me and Jacob have a plan. I let my parents know not tell anyone . Not even friends or families they agreed . So here we all together signed our marriage certificate. Everyone cheerfully, my parents approved of Jacob. They were easily smitten by him . Kevin, of course, is crying with joy .

Jacob kisses my hand. " Don't worry when it's all over .I'll give you a proper wedding. My dare wife ." He said, sparkling green eyes looks as he was in love.

"Okay , my dare husband." I said

I can see everyone gushing over us . In deep love . Everyone at Jacob house eating dinner.

Amanda and Scott showed up, uninvited the fur in everyone eyes . Got Amanda stumbled before she can speak .

" Dad, what's going on , Why are they here ? And why we're not invited?" said Scott

My husband sigh. " Cleary, you're the one who's uninvited. Showing up here without permission. Unlike you they're my guess . And we're having a business dinner meeting."

Scott pressed his lips and spoke . "Yet I'm your son why I need . A permission to see my father." He stop speaking as Jacob glared at him, Scott face pale . The father he once knew was no longer there.

Amanda cunning charms stepped in to make peace. "Mr. Campbell , Your son and I wanted to give you great news." she said. Pushing her chest on Scott.

I almost laughed cause little than she knew .My husband already knows everything. Not so easily to be fooled by their tactics. Jacob played it off to not notice what she's talking about.

" Me and Scott getting engaged," she said, showing off her ring to Jacob.

My husband looked at Scott and said, " Is that so ,since when do I approve of this?"

Scott looked down and said

" Amanda, let's go ."

Amanda was confuse and panicked. She bagged Jacob. " That's why we came here for your blessings. Please, I really love Scotty." she started to cry and tried to grab Jacob hand.

Jacob act quickly moves his hand away before she coldly.

" Its clear you don't need my permission since both of you acting boldly. Get engaged without my approval. Remember, I'm still the head of this family." He said coldly. I chuckled as Amanda was shocked. Hearing those same words from my husband mouth.

Ginny looks at me whispering "what tell me, girl."

"Dad , you don't need to be so rude to Amanda. All she wanted was your blessings." Said Scott rubbing his hair.

" Like I said, None of you don't need my blessings. If both of you going to do it anyway. It's not my choice it's yours. Now, be gone with your day . I have guessed, and you two are not invited. Kevin, please escort them out ." Said Mr. Jacob

Scott shocked as his own father said that to him.

" Yes , sir, please, Mrs. Amanda and Mr. Scott, could you follow me." Kevin said

Scott and Amanda left .

My mother snorted her hand on the table .

" How dare he do you know how hard for me not to punch him in the face . Look at your father, his face boiled, trying to hold it in ." She said

My mother is not lying. I'm surprised my father held it in for so long . Without killing Scott .

" Same here , How dare they played innocent. Like they're the victim." Ginny said

" Don't worry, he'll get what's coming to him . But for that happened, they'll be married. After that I'll go for the attack." He said seriously.

" Yes , let's all be patient ." I said, smiled patting my stomach, Everyone smiled, knew I'm pregnant.

Our child, a Blood of Campbell and Richard, will be the heir of Campbell's Corp .

We say goodbye to everyone. I stayed with Jacob for the night. We cuddle and talk to each listen to music all night long .

The next morning, Jacob helped me pack. My stuff because as promised after graduation from this house . Won't be mine anymore. I'll be moving in . with my husband Jacob Campbell.

Me blushed, just remember I'm Mrs. Campbell. I'm his wife, whom I'm very proud to be .

Scott stopped by and grabbed his stuff. He dared not to speak casually. He looks embarrassed .

" I want to say I'm sorry. I know I'm too late to apologize. " He paused me thinking no shit , I'll say a bit too late for that. Scott added, " But please don't take it out on Amanda. I came on my own too because I don't want her to be upset anymore." He placed his hand on his chest.

" I'm really am sorry ." He said

I crossed my arms and said.

"Is that's all ?" I asked

" Yes , I'm truly am sorry, and I truly love Amanda. I don't mean to hurt you." He said he was about to continue. But I cut him off and said.

" Look ,no need for apologize. Like you said, it's already too late. There is no need for you to repeat yourself. On how you love Amanda. I'm okay with that, nor I don't care. This mess between you and Amanda . Is starting to get on my damn nerves. Like, literally, I don't care. Just leave me out of it ." I sighed he tried to speak . "Goodbye, Mr. Scott ." as I closed the door .

There's Jacob, my husband clapping his hand .

" I'm so proud of my wife ." He said I went to kiss him passionately. As we hug each other tightly.
