Chapter 48- Divorce Petition

Adrian’s POV

Panic thundered in my chest as the events of the last several hours flickered through my head.

“It's bad enough that the earliest available flight was a red eye, but now, out of nowhere, you're telling me the flight’s delayed?” I gritted out in irritation.

I knew it wasn't Mason's fault, but I had no other way of voicing how frustrated I felt with this entire fucked-up evening.

“What time is the press conference?” I asked Mason after a while.

We were seated in a Private Lounge, waiting for our updated flight details. I should be home right now, reassuring my wife that everything was going to be okay. Instead, I was stuck in another fucking city!

“Nine o’clock,” Mason answered. “We should be able to make it in time.”

That was only if nothing else went wrong.

The delayed flight wasn’t the only thing making me antsy. I hadn't been able to get in touch with Letisha since I found out the news this afternoon.

The news… That fucking news!
