Jasper can see my location on his phone.
This was set up years ago when there were numerous violent crime cases reported in the news.
I coldly shook off Caelan's grip.
He lost his balance and fell to the ground, looking bewildered and hurt.
"Jasper, I'm not his Mom, and I'm no longer your wife."
"I thought we were all clear about our current relationship."
Jasper crouched down to help Caelan up.
"What's going on?" Kael walked over, holding Candy's hand.
"Auntie! This cotton candy is for bunny, eat eat!"
Before Candy could pounce on me, I had already opened my arms to catch her. Hugging the sweet, soft little girl, my eyes crinkled with a smile.
"Wow, it's so sweet, just like our Candy, isn't it?" Taking a bite of the candy, I felt the sweetness spreading to my heart.
Caelan stood nearby, his eyes full of jealousy and resentment. I saw it but chose to ignore it.
"Well, if it isn't my ex-brother-in-law," Kael greeted first, his tone unfriendly and his smile mocking.
