Chapter 5

Damn," I knew I shouldn't have meddled in someone else's business, here comes the trouble.

I turned around to see four dogs staring at me menacingly.

"Hey, let me explain. Things aren't what you think..." But before I finished, the black dog pounced, pinning me to the ground. I gritted my teeth, recalling how dogs were lovely and cute in my world. Why were these ones so aggressive?

I grabbed a nearby wooden stick and struck the black dog on the head. "Listen, I don't know who you guys are. I just arrived in this world, and it's still shocking to find humans transforming into dogs. But if you try to kill me without understanding the situation, I won't hesitate to fight back and teach you how to be a good dog."

"Adrian…."

"Alpha, are you okay? Is everything okay?"

Alpha? As in werewolves? Like an Alpha leader of wolves? This man is actually an Alpha? Was this world affected by an Apocalypse. Because it's quite funny, werewolves doesn't exist.

Seeing the man come to his senses, the other dogs followed the black dog and quickly shifted to humans. I covered my eyes until they all put their clothes on.

"Alpha, now that you're awake, how to deal with this woman?" Adrian looked in my direction, eyes still with killing intent. This woman smells like a rogue, and she is the only one here, so Alpha's wound must have something to do with her.

"Deal with me?" I recalled Adrian's rudeness, my voice turning colder.

"If it weren't for me, your Alpha would have died from blood loss. You didn't feel grateful to me, but want to deal with me? What kind of heartless beings are you guys?

"We are from Blood moon pack! How dare you, a rogue, insult our pack? You will definitely be punished." Adrian's face flushed with anger.

"Blood moon pack? Is that some kind of organization or what?" I said in a sarcastic tone and turned serious immediately seeing their expression. "Wait, you weren't joking?" I paused to see their expression again. Wolves lives in packs according to the books have read, does that mean I'm in a world were wolves exist? And he called the man on the floor Alpha, which means he's their leader.

"You have just said you are from blood moon pack? Which literally means you all are werewolves and I don't think werewolves kill innocent people indiscriminately, Alpha am I right?" I turned to the man who had dressed up. He had been staring at me with his deep eyes ever since he woke up, as if I was his prey that couldn't escape from today. Werewolves doesn't eat humans' right?

"Adrian, calm down." The Alpha looked at me, his piercing gaze burning deep inside me. I had to look in another direction to avoid his gaze.

"Alpha, do not waste time. There is definitely something wrong with this woman!" Adrian urged. He gave me a disdainful look like all he wanted that moment was to kill me for his Alpha.

"Adrian, she did save me." The Alpha narrowed his eyes at Adrian, as a dangerous signal. He seemed like he wasn't pleased with Adrian's recklessness.

His eyes narrowed to my skirt that was ripped off a large part since I used it to wrap his wounds, which revealed my long and slender legs. Step by step, he walked towards me until his mouth was only an inch away from mine, and he stopped.

"What….what do you want?!" I panicked and tried to push him away, but he quickly gripped on me.

"Tell me, who are you? Why do you come here?" His heavy breath sprayed on my face. I was a little dazed. How do I explain to them that I was reincarnated to their world, they will definitely tag me as crazy?

All I had to do was get out of here and find somewhere else safe.

"Let me go," I said, struggling. "It doesn't matter who I am, what matters is that I saved you, and now I don't want anything in return, I just want to leave okay?"

All I have to do was find the man, win his heart and leave this goddamn world back to my old life. I wouldn't be here if not for Michael, all of this is his fault and when I get back, he would be the first I deal with.

He released his grip on me, and then ordered Adrian. "Clean the mess here. Let's go."

I was finally freed, and I immediately tried to leave, but the Alpha's next word made my jaw drop. "You, too, are coming with us."

"Me?" I point my forefinger on my chest, watching him with wide eyes.

"You saved me, didn't you?" He spoke, with that sort of majesty that could not be denied. "Stay in my pack house and enjoy my hospitality." He turned around and walked away, trailed behind Adrian.

If gazes could kill, then he would have been six feet under by now. I wished I could return to my world, were my mother and brother will be alive and waiting for me at home with those beautiful smiles on their faces. All I needed to do now was to win a person heart I don't even know of yet and leave quickly.

I knew I had no choice right now. The people here are powerful, and I have to be careful not to irritate a beast when I'm weak.

I trailed behind the Alpha obediently. Upon arriving at the Blood Moon Pack's Council Square, the Alpha's next words sent shivers down my spine:

"Adrian, put her in the dungeon."
