Master, Just Let Me Clean Toilets

Xiao Wu took a deep breath. She bit her lip, hesitated briefly, then gently cupped Yu Tianming's face with her hands and gave his cheek a quick kiss. She threw a glance at Tang San and hurriedly ran off in a panic.

It wasn't that she didn't want to speak to Tang San—it was because she feared that if she stayed, Yu Tianming would ask even more of her.

Yu Tianming also glanced at Tang San, the corners of his lips curled in a victor's smirk.

"Xiao San, you're a clever person. I'm sure you understand everything now."

As a man who valued appearances, he didn't say anything else mocking. He simply pulled Qian Renxue along and left, leaving Tang San alone, staring blankly into the distance.

Qian Renxue's voice rang in Yu Tianming's mind.

"Why did Xiao Wu listen to you so obediently? She actually kissed you right in front of Tang San?"

Yu Tianming chuckled softly.

"I'll let you in on a secret. That little girl is actually a 100,000-year soul beast in human form. Now that her identity has been exposed, she naturally has no choice but to do whatever I say."

Qian Renxue covered her mouth in shock. A legendary 100,000-year soul beast, appearing right under her nose? And this was the capital of the Heaven Dou Empire, full of powerful soul masters—how could a 100,000-year soul beast be so foolish?

Before she could voice her doubts, Yu Tianming continued casually.

"Xiao Wu's mother was also a 100,000-year soul beast. But she died at Bibi Dong's hands and became a soul ring on her second martial soul. Isn't that a coincidence?"

Qian Renxue's gaze gradually turned sharp.

'Why is the world so small? How could things be so twisted? Tang San's father is her father's murderer. Xiao Wu's mother died by her own mother's hand. And yet... those two seem to have feelings for each other.'

"What do you plan to do with them? Honestly, I want to kill them right now. Would that interfere with your plans?" Qian Renxue asked coldly.

Yu Tianming shook his head.

"No rush. If you send them to hell so easily, wouldn't that be too kind? Wouldn't it be better to torment them slowly? Make them suffer the bitterness and pain of this world?"

Hearing this, Qian Renxue's expression softened and she nodded, chatting and laughing as she walked alongside Yu Tianming.

Just then, a scruffy-faced middle-aged man emerged from around the corner and blocked their path.

It was Master Yu Xiaogang. His face was full of anger as he glared at Yu Tianming.

"I came to Blue Tyrant Academy to teach martial soul theory. Why did you assign me to clean toilets? And you had the nerve to call it a management position? Are you seriously trying to deceive me like this?"

Behind him stood Liu Erlong in a green robe, curvy and elegant. She looked at Yu Tianming with reproach.

"As members of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, shouldn't we be helping each other? Xiao Gang has such solid theoretical knowledge. Why would you make him clean toilets? Isn't that a waste of talent?"

Liu Erlong was trying hard to restrain her temper. Though her tone remained somewhat gentle, it was clear she was standing firmly on Yu Xiaogang's side.

Yu Tianming pretended to be confused.

"Oh? I thought that position was pretty good. Why is Second Uncle so upset about it? Did something happen?"

Yu Xiaogang thought about his recent experience, and tears welled in his eyes. He tilted his head back and wiped his face with his sleeve, eyes full of grievance.

"The office they gave me was already small, packed with cleaning supplies like some utility room. I didn't mind it too much, since the supplies were needed. And yeah, technically it's a management position like you said—but you never told me I'd be managing two janitor aunties!"

"On my first day, they said one of the older janitors had just retired, and asked me to cover his duties. They were all polite, serving tea and calling me 'Master Soul Master' every other sentence. But then they brought me to the job site and—I realized they wanted me to clean toilets!"

Yu Tianming's eyes flickered.

'How did that janitor just happen to retire? This has Grandpa Yu Luomian written all over it... It must be because of Master's Luo Sanpao martial soul. Every time he uses it, the smell is awful. So Grandpa had him cover the janitor's work instead.'

But Yu Tianming didn't let his schadenfreude show. He instead asked with apparent concern.

"Then why didn't you just refuse, Master? It's really not that big of a deal~"

Yu Xiaogang's grief nearly burst from his chest. His voice hoarse and his face distraught, he said,

"It was my first day! I wanted to do a good job. Those aunties kept persuading me kindly... I believed them. I worked my butt off and cleaned almost the entire Blue Tyrant Academy. Afterward, I asked them if there was anything else to do—and that's when they told me the cleaning department only handles toilets. So I'm basically the toilet janitor now?!"

Yu Xiaogang had never held a leadership position in his life, and didn't realize many so-called managerial titles were just for show. Like when Sun Wukong first entered the Heavenly Court—he thought the Jade Emperor had given him a prestigious role, only to find out he was just a stable boy.

Yu Xiaogang never imagined that as the biological son of Yu Yuanzhen, his own grandnephew would trick him into cleaning toilets. Unforgivable!

After realizing what happened, he immediately brought his biggest backer in Blue Tyrant Academy—Liu Erlong—to confront Yu Tianming face-to-face.

Moved by Yu Xiaogang's sorrow, Liu Erlong patted his shoulder and spoke on his behalf.

"Xiao Gang is still your Second Uncle. Why not give him a decent position? His theoretical research is truly insightful. His hands weren't made for scrubbing toilets."

Yu Tianming had no intention of arguing. He looked past them to Yu Luomian, who had just arrived, and said calmly,

"Grandpa, take Aunt Erlong away. Don't let her get involved in this mess."

Yu Luomian knew he had failed to keep an eye on his daughter. He quickly grabbed Liu Erlong, who was still trying to argue. The janitor position hadn't been Yu Tianming's idea alone—the main instigator had been Yu Luomian himself. After all, that useless man had dared to seduce his daughter!

"Erlong, let's go. I've already given instructions. Xiao Gang's work environment will be improved right away. Anything else, Tianming will handle."

Without giving her time to respond, the tall and strong Yu Luomian scooped up Liu Erlong and walked away.

Though she usually respected her father, in front of Yu Xiaogang, even her own father didn't matter.

"I don't care! I'm not leaving until Xiao Gang gets a proper position!" Liu Erlong clung to Yu Luomian's shoulders like a madwoman resisting being dragged away.

But she wasn't even fifty yet and far from her peak strength. Against a Soul Douluo like Yu Luomian, she couldn't resist no matter how hard she tried. Soon, she was carried off into the distance.

With Liu Erlong gone, Yu Xiaogang calmed down slightly. He looked up at the towering Yu Tianming, eyes darting, and asked hesitantly,

"Tian... Tianming, how about giving your Second Uncle a different job?"

"Nope." Yu Tianming straightened his collar and spoke righteously. "Second Uncle, didn't I already give you a great job? All these Soul Kings can only be teachers, but you—just a Soul Grandmaster—got a leadership post. You should be grateful."

Yu Xiaogang swallowed hard and gathered his remaining courage.

"But I have solid theoretical knowledge too. Why can't I teach?"

Yu Tianming didn't even bother replying seriously.

"Think about it, Second Uncle. Teachers have to lecture on schedule. Your current position doesn't require much work. You have others doing the grunt work for you. And with your Luo Sanpao martial soul—your farts smell worse than the toilets—you're perfectly suited for it."

Without waiting for a reply, Yu Tianming pulled Qian Renxue away.

Yu Xiaogang was left alone, sighing in despair.

Just then, he heard Tang San's distant voice calling out. Scratching his head in confusion, Yu Xiaogang turned and walked toward the sound.

After Yu Tianming and Qian Renxue left, Tang San sank deeper into despair.

He had spent so many years with Xiao Wu, yet they were still just like siblings. And Yu Tianming—he had only known her for a short while, and yet something like that had already happened between them.

The despair wrapped around Tang San like a dense fog, the resentment in his heart growing so intense it almost took physical form—far surpassing even the fury Bibi Dong had shown during her darkest moments.

Standing at the edge of the empty Blue Tyrant Forest, he couldn't hold back any longer and cried out,

"Why… Xiao Wu, why?! No~~!"

A sorrowful voice seemed to echo in the air around him:

'Snowflakes drifting, the northern wind howling, the world in endless desolation. A single plum blossom stands proud in the snow, its fragrance carried only for its beloved.'

If the Rakshasa God had seen Tang San in this moment, engulfed by so much hatred, he would've likely abandoned Bibi Dong on the spot and chosen Tang San as his successor.

But the Rakshasa God didn't see this scene—Yu Xiaogang did.

His bearded face poked through the underbrush of Blue Tyrant Forest, filled with confusion as he looked at Tang San.

"Xiao San, what's going on? If there's something on your mind, you can tell your teacher."

Tang San looked at Yu Xiaogang in silence for a long time, unable to speak.

He recalled what happened yesterday afternoon, when he met with Tang Hao.

In the depths of Blue Tyrant Forest, Tang Hao gave a nod to the loyal Titan, then turned toward Tang San, his tone low.

"Xiao San, your father has wronged you. I've hidden the truth from you for so long… and only now can you know your origins."

"Dad, it's okay. I'm sure you had your reasons." Tang San, who had long yearned for a father's love, immediately burst into tears as he clung to Tang Hao's leg.

Tang Hao stroked his son's head, his voice full of comfort.

"Good child. You've grown up. Do you have anything you want to ask me?"

Tang San hesitated, then raised his head.

"Dad, why did you choose Yu Xiaogang to be my teacher? I feel like his theory is unreliable. He even made me hunt soul rings on my own. He hasn't helped at all."

Tang Hao's expression grew serious.

"Although Yu Xiaogang only has rank 29 soul power and is looked down upon by the soul master world, his knowledge is immense—far beyond most soul masters who lack inheritance."

Tang San sighed and slowly raised his right hand. From his palm, a thorn-like vine resembling a black-and-red leech emerged, writhing unnaturally—it no longer resembled Blue Silver Grass.

"But Father, Yu Xiaogang made me absorb only animal soul rings into my Blue Silver Grass. While it's become more powerful, Yu Tianming said it cost me the potential to evolve it into the Blue Silver Emperor. If I had absorbed plant soul rings instead, I could have become even stronger."

Tang Hao shook his head.

"I recently discussed this with Master. Even if your Blue Silver Grass becomes the Blue Silver Emperor, it wouldn't gain powerful attack abilities. Absorbing animal soul rings helps your early cultivation and strengthens your physique. And our Clear Sky Hammer techniques require extremely powerful bodies to execute."

Still, in his heart, Tang San couldn't shake the image of Yu Xiaogang as a failure—an impression burned in by Yu Tianming's relentless mockery.

"Xiao San, aside from Master's theoretical knowledge, there's another reason I approved of him being your teacher." Tang Hao paused, then continued. "You're a once-in-a-century Twin Martial Soul wielder. Your situation is very unique—and only Master has access to the secrets of Twin Martial Souls."

"Twin Martial Soul secrets?" Tang San's eyes filled with confusion. 'Is there something about this I don't know?'

"Many have possessed Twin Martial Souls, but most died from internal conflict during cultivation. Only one person succeeded: Bibi Dong, the current Pope of Spirit Hall. Master has deep connections with her. Only he has the chance to access the true secrets of cultivating Twin Martial Souls."

Tang San swallowed hard.

"So only Master can ensure I'll succeed in cultivating my Twin Martial Souls?"

Tang Hao nodded slowly.
