"Nezuko! Your brother needs your help! Wake up! Help your brother! Don't let him die!"

Sleeping Nezuko felt her mother's voice calling to her. Instantly, she awoke.

Nezuko seemed to awaken her Blood Demon Art, using her blood as a catalyst to unleash Blood Demon Art: Blood Explosion.

The silk threads binding Nezuko were instantly coated in her blood. With the activation of Blood Explosion, the threads ignited and exploded, pink flames spreading rapidly along the threads.

Because the threads were connected to Lower Rank Five, the pink flames spread to him, creating a wall of fire that incinerated the silk threads he'd launched at Tanjiro.

Understanding Nezuko's aid, Tanjiro renewed his effort. His blade sliced through Lower Rank Five's neck, creating a brilliant ring of flame that illuminated the surroundings.

Lower Rank Five's head was severed and flew away.

The ring of flame vanished, as did the fire on the blade. Lower Rank Five and Tanjiro collapsed to the ground.

The flames from Nezuko's blood also burned through the threads binding her, and she fell from the air.

Tanjiro wanted to reach Nezuko, but he was completely immobile. The forced change in breathing techniques had severely strained his meridians, leaving him incapacitated.
