This attack incapacitated Lower Rank Five. Ryuji stopped attacking, pulled a blood collection tool from his pocket, and inserted it into Lower Rank Five's chest.

After collecting the blood, Ryuji said to Giyu Tomioka, "Hold this. Consider it your duty as my senior brother."

Giyu, unsure what Ryuji was doing, nonetheless took the tool.

After collecting the blood, Ryuji decided to prolong Lower Rank Five's suffering before killing him.

Ryuji drew his Nichirin Blade and plunged it into Lower Rank Five's chest. The blade, contacting Lower Rank Five's blood, activated its blood-sucking ability, greedily draining his blood.

As time passed, Lower Rank Five sensed something was wrong and struggled violently, but the Nichirin Blade pinned him to the ground.

Seeing this, Ryuji immediately punched Lower Rank Five in the head, subduing him.

Lower Rank Five, no longer arrogant, was now terrified of Ryuji. His eyes showed immense fear.

"Spare me! Father! Please, Father!" Lower Rank Five, seemingly having a mental breakdown, called Ryuji "father."

Ryuji was surprised. He'd unexpectedly become a father?! He slapped Lower Rank Five twice. "I've never even touched your mother, how could I have a son like you?!"

"Kill me! Don't torture me anymore, you monster!" Lower Rank Five yelled.

As soon as Lower Rank Five finished, Ryuji punched him again. "Behave yourself. Once my blade drains your blood, you can die."

But Lower Rank Five wouldn't wait for death, attempting self-destruction to escape.

The self-destruction didn't harm Ryuji, though the resulting blood splatter covered his face and stained his blue robe red.

Ryuji could have dodged, but he didn't want to give Lower Rank Five a chance to escape.

The explosion's force propelled Lower Rank Five's head away. Ryuji, seizing the opportunity, immediately pinned Lower Rank Five's head to the ground.

"You bastard!" Lower Rank Five yelled, enraged at his failed plan.

Ryuji's actions were partly for vengeance and partly to allow his Nichirin Blade to feed.

"Since you're so unruly, I'll grant your wish," Ryuji said coldly. A black aura spread from his arm, enveloping Lower Rank Five's head.

"Demonic Devour!" Ryuji said.

Lower Rank Five let out a bloodcurdling scream, which ended as the demonic aura consumed him.
