Chapter 2: Of course there are consequences...

'To get Magician's Red as the first stand is quite strong. The power of pyrokinesis is a powerful ability, who could have guessed?'

I laughed internally at the thought.

'Even if it does not have a weird or interesting ability as something like King Crimson to skip time. Burning your enemy in a world that (hopefully) doesn't have any insane power as a stand could be extremely useful'

Before continued my trail of thoughts two of the Pubsec officers walked over to me. "Wow, what was that fire show you just did? And where did the bird thiren go?" Asked the one sounding very young. Before I could give an answer the other officer, that probably was the senior between the two of them asked. "Before you answer any of those questions, tell us with whom we are specking with?"

'Shit, should I tell them my name? No probably not. Call me paranoid but what if there is someone or something that would be able to use that is some way or form against me. Like, what if there are other stand users here, and that they can kill you if they know your name? Not risking it.'

"I am... Sam." I answer simple by giving a fake name. The senior officer began then asking. "Alright 'Sam', what would you happen to be in the hollow for?"

'What? Should it not be obvious? That I got stuck here like everyone else? But maybe it's a trick question to se if I am a hollow raider...'

"Eh, is it not obvious officer? I'm here like everyone else here." The officer did not look convinced for some reason. "Alright, than what whoul-". The younger officer chipped in. "It's alright senior, this bloke is probably just an innocent civilian that was stuck here from the recent hollow expansion."

Than the officer asked me. "So? Where is the bird thiren with the flames?"

'Shit, and now I fot to explain my stand... What am I going to say even? "Oh I got something called a stand that is the manifestation of the soul. And this is magicia-". Wait, that it!'

"Oh, that was just one of my magic tricks! I am a magician you see.i just use-. No I should not reveal how I did myagic, after all, a magician never reveals his tricks."

The two of them took a pause, looked at each other than, than at me, back to them and than at me.

"Do you really believe that we would fal-". The younger one cutted him off and said excitedly. "REALY?! COULD YOU PLEASE DO IT AGAIN?!"

"Eh no sorry, my 'supply' ran out so I can't do it right now." Even with the police mask/helmet that they have, it was obvious that he was disappointed. "Oh man..."

The older gave a sight and than began saying. "Alright now would you answe-". And I began to cough extremely hard.

'W-what is *cough* going on?! Why do I feel *cough* so sick!?'. The officers grabbed me and took me to the other officers and civilians. "Let's go back quick! He is suffering from ether corruption!" The senior said.

'What... *Cough* is... Going... On?... System... Answer...me.' I could not breath, I could not talk and it was hard to think. It was almost like being forced to drown. Trying to do anything to get air but you are forced down.

[The reason being is because of your stand]

'Explain *cough*'

[As the is no real connection between JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and Zenless Zone Zero. The system was forced to to create a stand by a new method. That being Ether]

As the system explained, I only felt that my condition only got worse. I started to lose my vision.

[Any stand you use will be made of ether and when you use the stand than you will feel continued ether corruption until you stop actively use any stand]

[Benefits of this being that, as you naturally grow stronger your ether tolerance will also grow to better use your stands that you have gained.]

[WARNING! Using stands outside of any hollow is possible but the power and ability will be weakened]

After the last message from the system I pass out cold, with my last thought being. 'That... Is... So...bullsh-'

After an unknown time I finally wake up. I take a look around me and see that I am in a building with other people around, some standing, some being on the floor but all of them having a look of concern. 'The cops probably moved me and patch me up'

I hear a distant voice call to me. "Ah you're finally awake." I take a look and see it being a Pubsec officer I could piece it together that it's the younger officer from before.

"Ye I'm up. But what happened? I can't seem to remember how we got here?" I said. 'better see what kind of explanation the came up even if I know the reason. I probably don't want to make it seem that I am a freak of nature by being constantly ether corrupted by myself. Which if I remember this world correctly, does not take out the possibility of them experimenting on me...'

"Well... We know that you where being effected by ether corruption... But are not 100% sure of how because you did not show any external signs. Because in the stage that you showed symptoms, you would have already grown crystals out of you."

"I see..."

"But that again it's ether corruption that we are talking about. Every time we make progress in understanding it, it always brings new surprises..."

He took a small pause as if thinking about something, a prior experience perhaps?

"Anyways, so after you got knocked out we came brought you here and gave you anything we had to suppress it. We did not have any medical supplies left, as we used them before for the others here but at least you seem allot better."

"Ye, I do feel better. Thank you... Sorry what's your name? Never got it before."

"Oh right Officer Martin, at your service!" And gave a proud salute.

"Thanks Martin, you both saved my life. I don't know how I will repay you but maybe one day. But if you don't mind I will go and rest for now."

"Yep, no problem Sam. You probably need some rest. And don't worry about all us being stuck here. We have a Bangboo with a carrot coming to get us than show us the way out. Will take 30 minutes tops, so just rest for now." He gave a kind nod at me and left.

I take a deep breath and begin to go over the events. 'Alright, so I got isekai'd in a Gacha game with a Gacha system, sure. I get a very powerful stand, that being Magician's Red, nice. But using my powers is actively killing me. The good thing is that ether corruption is curable, so hopefully I will not have any long lasting health issues...'

'Wait a moment. I almost forgot! I have unlocked my stand storage or what ever it's called and Quest." I incidentally give a mental command and summon the storage.

'Huh, so it's up to part 8? That's is quite allot of stands... And what is that in the end? Eh probably should not think to hard of what it could be at the moment.'

'So no reward? Just like the system said before I guess. More of guide than made for rewards... But hold on. If a get another arrow. Will that not grant me requiem for Magician's Red? Or is it just the systems way of using it for a pull?'

I began to ponder on the question but concluded that it probably will be better to wait and see. 'But now I need my rest, so I should get a small nap at least...' And with that, I began to shut my eyes.

(Thanks for reading chapter two. I was very glad to have gotten randomly Magician's Red of all stands, because everyone should know, Avdol and the stand are the GOATS. But with this, I realised something. Allot of stands would probably just solo zzz, if not of their strength, than abilities. For example Magician's Red, has the power of flames. While not being something interesting, he could make everything to atom's. So for that I nerfed the use of stands in the beginning at least because it's not that interesting to just win everything.
