And The Tides Went Out

"Thanks for coming!" Chihiro called out. "Come again sometime!"

"Will do!", Shiilo and Weet replied, waving as they walked away.

"Well, where to now?" Shiilo asked.

"We're going back into the forest to fight monsters.", Weet answered.

Shiilo nodded. "Sounds good to me. Let's go kill some monsters"

They left the town of Sol, to return to the monster infested forest, which Shiilo called, "The Forrest of Coffins."

They were immediately greeted with the terrifying yells and screams of what seemed like countless zombies.

"We'll avoid contact with zombies at all costs, for we stand no chance against them," Weet said.

"Understood," Shiilo replied. "So what will we fight?"

Weet smiled. "We will fight the Boar!"

The Boar:

Strength: 6

Agility: 4

Skill: 7

Speed: 4

Armor: 9

Rank: A Class-weak

Description: The size of an elephant, yet the weakest monster, they are often the first challenge for rookies.

As the two were talking, about fifty yards ahead, a single boar was happily enjoying itself, eating, pooping, and farting. It snorted, loudly, eating mushrooms and whatever else it found to it's liking. "Do you hear all that snorting and farting?",Shiilo asked.

"Yeah, I did" Weet answered. "That's a Boar!" The two quickly took their swords from their inventory, cautiously walking towards the sounds of munching and farting.

"There it is!", Weet whispered, poking his head around a giant maple tree.

"So what's the plan?", Shiilo asked anxiously.

"We'll work together and give it our all"

Shiilo smiled. "Sounds good to me, let's go!"

They charged forward towards the twelve foot tall beast, swinging their swords about with all their might, using every ounce of strength they could muster.

Shiilo handled the back legs, chopping his sword through the tuff skin, he could feel the disgusting mushy texture of raw flesh through his blade. He could smell the potent scent of fresh blood, as it gushed out over him and in his eyes and mouth, so salty and bitter, so red and blinding.

He cut a main artery, which completely showwered him, also going more into his mouth and down throat, causing himto vomit blood, right before he was kicked in the chest.

He went flying into the nearest tree, about ten yards away, making him cough even his own blood up.

"Damn!", He thought, picking up his sword and taking a breath. He spit the blood from his mouth, then ran back to help Weet, who had just went flying.

"You alright?" Shiilo asked.

"I'm alright", Weet answered, extending his hand. Shiilo grabbed it and pulled him up. They then both ran back to continue fighting.

Shiilo stabbed his sword in the side of the Boar's ribs, using it to pull himself onto the Boar's back. He then loosened the sword from its side. Pulling it free, he sat firmly on the Boar's back, but it began to buck…

"You son of a bastard, will you stop bucking you Mofo?!" He sunk his sword into the Boar's neck, yanking it out and repeating his actions a few more times.

Blood blasted from the Boar's neck like a fountain in the clouds, raining down on Shiilo and Weet, red and wet.

The Boar let out a loud roar, right before it fell over, dead. Shiilo and Weet stood by its corpse breathing heavily, their weapons still drawn.

Five minutes later, Shiilo took a final deep breath, then sheathed his sword on his side. "Job well done team", Shiilo said.

Weet nodded, sheathing his sword. "We have successfully killed our first Boar," He said, smiling widely, "We should now go claim our reward."

————————————————————

It was seven o'clock at night, and Shillo and Weet were back in the town of Sol, talking and walking on the streets.

Weet stared off into the starry sky.

"Well", he said ever so calmly. "We paid for our equipment. Where should we spend the night?"

Shiilo gave Weet an amused look. "You talk as if you're a girl, and I'm supposed to be your boyfriend."

Just then, Shilo felt an exceedingly evil pressence rise above. before him, a cloaked demon that rose above all, then spoke,

"My friends, my dolls. Listen closely to the god who brought you here, to my world, where you will all live, and die. If you wish to return to your previous life, then youll have to fight. And become strong enough to defeat me, the one and only, the all and mighty, the Devil himself"

Deadly silence. A smile could be seen upon the Devil's covered face.

"I will return to you your true selves now, and also relay to you my final words; Good Luck!"

The Devil disappeared entirely, and Weet became a girl.

Shiilo stood, frozen. He looked at what was a few ago his male friend. "You're… A girl?"

With eyes that shined like polished jades, and long, wavy hair of the same color. With cream skin and a petite body, there was no mistaking it.

"Ah. I remember now. My name is Setsuna Asuda. I am Japanese."

Shiilo was confused. The nice spring weather and flowers, the male companion by his side... It was all a lie.

"Today, is December 8, 2015. It is not springtime."

The soft breeze had changed into an unforgiving northem wind, ripping and gusting loudly.

"Shillo, I'm cold!", Setsuna said in a pleading way, almost like she was asking him to warm her up.

"I'm aware of that", Shiilo answered. The two ran across the street and into the nearest hotel, Moon Z's. There was a lady at the desk, long golden hair and brown eyes, she looked almost sickly with her pale skin. She wore casual clothes and red lipstick.

"Welcome," she said in an almost whispering voice. "Can I help you?"

"I would like two rooms please", Shilo said, "Any will do"

"For the night?"

"For the month."

The lady nodded. "Okay. There are two rooms available upstairs, is that okay?"

"That will do", Shiilo answered.

"Alright, that will be 300 gold please."

Shiilo took the gold coins from his inventory, handing the girl the 300. "Thank you", He said.

"Yes, thank you for your business."

Shiilo and Setsuna climbed silently up the stairs, they parted ways and went each to their own room,

The rooms were simple. A twin-sized matress, four blankets, a small bedside table, a lamp, and a small chester drawer.

Shiilo changed his clothes, then fell onto the bed, drifting off into a deep slumber.
