Shadowborne Ascension

The front line manned by Rika and the other defenders soon broke under the monstrous pressure of the creatures. Although it wasn't enough, they'd allowed the poled rangers to kill their own fair share.

Looking at their strained faces, Hazel clenched her teeth and stepped forward.

Like a perfectly coordinated military group, the defenders rolled back while the close combatants rushed forward to cover for them. From there, it turned into a full scale battle.

Claws tore into flesh just as blades cut into monstrous hides, the disgusting sound spreading across the battlefield. The aerial creatures soared into the air, aiming to feast on the humans perched on the walls.
