The New School Year [END]

Arca found himself surrounded.

A sharp smile crept across his face.

"Tch. What a pain!" he muttered.

They attacked Arca simultaneously from all directions.

Arca didn't stay idle he fought back fiercely. Meanwhile, Aswa was still airborne, having apparently jumped too high.

"Guess I put too much power into that leap!" Aswa remarked casually.

From above, Aswa watched Arca's intense battle. "Seems his head's fine. At least I get to see him fight HAHA!"

Despite being surrounded, Arca's expression remained relaxed, as if he were a seasoned expert.

One by one, he took them down, leaving many unconscious.

"What the hell is he? Why won't he go down?!" one of them shouted.

*CRACK!* *CRACK!*

Arca kept striking, reducing their numbers by half. Yet...

He showed no signs of fatigue not even a drop of sweat.

*CRACK!*

His punches grew fiercer, more brutal.

*CRACK!* *CRACK!*

Stronger. More painful. "Stop him NOW!"

*CRACK!* *CRACK!* *CRACK!*

Now, Arca looked terrifying. His arms and body seemed to swell.

This time, his punch was different.

*WHOOSH!* *CRACK!*

Arca swung but his fist collided with Aswa's face as the latter landed, sending him flying into the crowd and knocking them down.

Arca blinked in surprise.

"What did I just hit? Steel?!"

*CRACK!*

Distracted, Arca took a hit. "Sorry, I'm just that good!"

A vein bulged on Arca's forehead. "You've got some nerve!!"

*WHOOSH!* *CRACK!* *CRACK!* *CRACK!* *CRACK!*

His attacks doubled in speed a frenzied, indiscriminate assault.

"H-he's a monster!! We can't even see his moves how do we hit him?!"

Fear twisted their faces. Five hundred thirty against one, yet they stood powerless as if facing an impenetrable WALL.

But hesitation meant nothing now. Arca no longer cared who his opponents were.

*WHOOSH!*

His strikes sent bodies flying each hit devastating.

Meanwhile, at the school's upper windows

"Tch. Why's he getting scarier?! I shouldn't have provoked him... Almost all my men are down. So the 'Weapon Killer' title wasn't just for show. But why 'Weapon Killer'? Does he use weapons? No... Is he as deadly as one? Ugh... What now?!"

King Yudan paced nervously, sweat dripping.

*CLANG!*

His foot kicked something metallic.

Back to Arca

Only a few remained standing. They attacked together yet fell just as quickly.

*CRACK!*

"Last one," Arca declared.

*WHOOSH!*

A weapon swung at his back.

Arca turned—just as Yudan brought a steel pipe down. But suddenly, Arca's pupils flashed blue.

"Die, Arc—"

*CRACK!* *WHOOSH!*

Aswa's kick sent Yudan flying before the blow landed.

Arca stood frozen, his pupils returning to normal.

"Whew... I'm beat. Let's take a break," Aswa said, slinging an arm around Arca.

As they walked to the cafeteria, Arca glanced back.

The first-years, teachers, even the principal had witnessed everything.

Their expressions wavered between relief and terror hearts and minds in turmoil.

And so began the tale of the TWO HUNTERS.
