Reincarnation of the magicless!
"No magic,No problem!"
Chapter 8 : The Magicless Hero!
Rolien stood in front of the mirror, fidgeting with the elaborate clothes Lyra, his mother, and sister were trying to put on him. "Ahm... Is this necessary? I can just pop up there and have my awakening ceremony, then I'll go home."
Lyra, his nanny, chuckled as she adjusted his collar. "No, no, no, Young Roa, you need to understand that many of the highest-ranking nobles are having their awakening ceremony like you. You can't just pop up there out of nowhere. So, you should be presentable."
Rolien's mother, the duchess, added, "This is a big day for you, Rolien. You need to make a good impression."
Rolien's sister, Elara, giggled as she tied his hair back. "Besides, you're going to look so handsome in this outfit!"
Rolien looked at himself in the mirror and sighed. "Isn't it enough that I'm cute?"
Lyra smiled and pinched his cheek. "Oh, you're adorable, all right, but this is about showing respect for the occasion and the people attending."
The duchess handed Rolien a small, intricately carved box. "Here, take this with you. It's a gift from your father. He couldn't be here, but he wanted you to have it."
Rolien's eyes widened as he took the box, feeling a mix of emotions. He opened it, revealing a beautifully crafted silver pendant. "Wow, it's beautiful!"
With a final adjustment to his outfit, Lyra declared, "You look perfect, Young Roa! Let's go!"
As they made their way to the ceremony location, Rolien's family accompanied him, beaming with pride. His mother, the duchess, adjusted his cloak, while his sister, Elara, chatted excitedly about the festivities. Lyra walked alongside him, offering words of encouragement.
Just as they arrived, Rolien spotted his big brother, Elian, who was also there for his awakening ceremony, but more importantly, he was preparing to head to the Imperial Argentum Academy afterward. Rolien's expression faltered, knowing he'd be saying goodbye to his brother soon.
"Hey, Elian," Rolien said, trying to sound casual.
Elian smiled and ruffled his hair. "Hey, little Roa! Ready for your big day?"
Rolien nodded, feeling a mix of emotions. He was excited for his awakening ceremony, but he was also going to miss his big brother.
Their mother smiled. "Both my sons are growing up to be such talented young men. Elian, you'll make us proud at the Imperial Argentum Academy, I'm sure."
Rolien looked up at Elian, feeling a pang of sadness. "I'm going to miss you, big bro."
Elian's expression softened. "I'll be back during breaks, and we'll stay in touch. You'll do great things too, Rolien. I just know it."
"Just, don't do what I would do, okay?" Elian said, and then they said their goodbyes.
The thought of being apart from his big brother was tough, but Rolien knew Elian had to pursue his own path. He took a deep breath and focused on the ceremony ahead.
As the ceremony began, Rolien felt a surge of excitement mixed with nervousness. He watched as the other young nobles around him underwent their own awakenings, some with dramatic displays of magic, others with more subtle manifestations.
When it was finally Rolien's turn, he closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and focused on the sensations within him. The air around him seemed to vibrate with anticipation, and he could feel the weight of his family's expectations.
As the ceremony progressed, Rolien's eyes snapped open, and he felt a rush of energy coursing through his veins. A brilliant light enveloped him, and he felt his magic awakening, responding to the ritual.
The room fell silent, awaiting the manifestation of his magical abilities. Rolien's heart pounded in his chest as he felt his powers stirring, taking shape...
And then, in a burst of light and energy, Rolien's magic revealed itself, stunning everyone in attendance.
As the brilliant light faded, Rolien's eyes adjusted to the surroundings, and he felt a strange sensation, like a door in his mind had swung open. He heard a voice, low and mechanical, speaking directly to him.
"Processing... Complete."
A window popped up in his line of sight, displaying a message in a futuristic font.

The window expanded, revealing a wealth of information.

Rolien's mind reeled as he read through the information. "The fuck is this it runs out I'm really just a regular guy Hey Goddess or whatever you are not funny!" he shouted in his head, stunned by the revelation. How was this possible? How did he, a young noble from a fantasy world, gain access to knowledge and blueprints from his home world, Earth?
The voice remained silent, offering no explanation. The window remained open, taunting Rolien with the possibilities and implications of his newfound ability.
As Rolien struggled to comprehend the implications of his new ability, the window updated with new information.
"Tsk, so basically mr.yohan is right I'll be stuck at inventing things from here and out. Tsk what a bummer " He said to himself, and he continued. I should say to my parents I got body enhancement well, . Well, maybe this is the best for now besides he has a leveling system that allows him to improve his strength so it's still a win win. I can't have them disappointed to be having a tech type of ability.
He decided to keep his newfound abilities a secret for now, especially from his family. He didn't want them to be disappointed or confused by his tech-related abilities. Instead, he would play along and pretend to have a more traditional magical ability.
As he walked back to his family, he put on a smile and tried to look as normal as possible. "Mom, Dad, Im sorry, I just have body enhancement" he said, trying to gauge their reactions.
His mother, the duchess, beamed with pride. "Don't you worry my dear boy, dad and I is still proud of you so don't be sad. ! We're so proud of you." His mom said and his father Grand duke Edric chime in.
"Don't worry son, your still have a path to walk on. Your still can became a knight. Or an inventor someday " Grand Duke Edric said cheering Rolien.
Rolien nodded, feeling a bit guilty about keeping his true abilities hidden. "Thanks, Mom,Dad. I'm just glad it's over."
Elian clapped him on the back. "Congrats, little bro. You're officially a magical noble now."
Rolien smiled, feeling a mix of emotions. He was excited about his new abilities, but he knew he had a lot to learn and navigate. And with his brother leaving for the Imperial Argentum Academy, he would have to face the challenges ahead without his closest confidant.
As they walked away from the ceremony location, Rolien couldn't help but think about his new abilities and the possibilities they presented. He would have to find a way to balance his secret life as a tech-savvy summoner with his public life as a noble. It wouldn't be easy, but he was determined to make the most of it.
As they walked through the market, Rolien's family and Lyra stopped to browse the various stalls selling everything from fresh produce to intricately crafted jewelry. Elian, being the protective big brother that he was, kept a close eye on Rolien, making sure he didn't get too distracted by the sights and sounds.
As they turned a corner, Rolien's attention was caught by a commotion nearby. A group of noble kids, looking like they were from a higher social class, were surrounding a younger boy, taunting and teasing him. The boy looked scared and defenseless, and Rolien's instincts kicked in.
One of the noble kids, a tall and burly boy, raised a wooden stick, ready to strike the younger boy. Without hesitation, Rolien dashed forward, his feet moving swiftly as he kicked the stick out of the boy's hand.
The noble kid stumbled backward, surprised by the sudden intervention. "Hey, what's your problem?" he growled, his face reddening with anger.
Rolien stood tall, his eyes flashing with determination. "Mind if I join ?," he said firmly, his voice echoing through the market.
Lyra and Elian rushed over, concern etched on their faces. "Rolien, what's going on?" Lyra asked, her eyes scanning the scene.
Elian stepped forward, his presence commanding attention. "Let him go," he said to the noble kids. "You're not going to bully anyone here."
"I think big brother, they already did" Rolien whisper to his big brother.
The noble kids, realizing they were outnumbered and outmatched, backed down, muttering under their breath as they retreated. The younger boy, looking relieved, nodded at Rolien in gratitude.
"Thanks," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
Rolien smiled and nodded, feeling a sense of satisfaction. "No problem. Just be careful, okay?"
As they continued on their way, Lyra put a hand on Rolien's shoulder. "You're a true noble, Rolien. You stood up for what's right."
Elian ruffled his hair. "Yeah, little bro, you're a natural-born hero."
Rolien blushed, feeling a warmth in his chest. Maybe being a noble wasn't so bad after all, especially if it meant he could make a difference in people's lives.
But one of them emerged and asked. "Who the hell are you to stop our business?" he said, and Rolien just raised his brows and replied.
"Well, if you say that is a business, I have to say it's a shady one. I don't think the labor department will approve of that kind of business!" Rolien replies. And the leader rolls his eyes. And step forward. And introduce himself.
The younger noble, Luke Arcadia, sneered at Rolien, his eyes flashing with arrogance. "You think you can stop me? I'm Luke Arcadia, the future Duke of the Arcadia family. You're just a lowly noble from a lesser family."
"No one asked for your damn name, pointy nose!" Rolien spat at him.
Rolien's family and Lyra tensed up, ready to intervene. But before they could, Luke raised his hand, and a small fireball materialized in his palm. "You're going to regret messing with me," he sneered, throwing the fireball at Rolien. "Good luck with that," he taunted Luke.
Elian instinctively stepped forward, ready to shield Rolien with his body. But Rolien reacted faster, his hand darting to Elian's waist and drawing his sword in a swift motion. With a precise slice, he cut the fireball in half, making it dissipate into nothingness.
The crowd around them gasped in shock, impressed by Rolien's quick reflexes and swordsmanship.
Luke's face turned red with rage. "You think you're clever? I'll show you my true power!"
But before he could summon another attack, Rolien dashed forward, his leg swinging in a powerful roundhouse kick that connected with Luke's face. The young noble stumbled backward, his nose bleeding, and fell to the ground.
As Luke stumbled backward, his nose bleeding, his two friends, a tall, lanky boy and a shorter, stockier boy, stepped forward, their eyes flashing with anger.
"You're going to pay for that, you little brat!" the taller boy sneered, cracking his knuckles.
The shorter boy, his face twisted in a snarl, charged at Rolien, but Rolien was ready. With a swift kick, he sent the boy flying backward, his momentum carrying him into a nearby stall.
The taller boy followed up with a wild swing, but Rolien dodged it easily and countered with a precise punch to the boy's solar plexus. The boy doubled over, gasping for breath, as Rolien followed up with a knee strike to his face.
The boy crumpled to the ground, unconscious. Rolien turned to face the shorter boy, who was struggling to get back to his feet. With a swift kick, Rolien sent the boy crashing to the ground, where he lay motionless.
The crowd around them cheered, impressed by Rolien's martial arts skills. Luke, still nursing his wounded nose, glared at Rolien, his eyes filled with hatred.
Elian grinned, clapping Rolien on the back. "Nice move, little bro. You're getting quite the reputation."
Rolien stood tall, his chest heaving with exertion. "I won't let anyone bully innocent people, because that's what heroes do!" he saidmimicking Thor's voice, his eyes still flashing with determination.
Luke, still nursing his wounded nose, glared at Rolien. "This isn't over," he muttered, before storming off with his friends.
Rolien watched him go, his eyes narrowed. He knew this wasn't the end of their rivalry. But he was ready for whatever came next.
Princess Sophia stepped out of the grand hall, the soft glow of the setting sun casting a warm light on her face as she gazed out at the bustling courtyard. She had just finished the awakening ceremony and was now on a mission to find Rolien, the young man she had taken a liking to. In her hand, she clutched a small, intricately wrapped box containing a gift for him—a token of her appreciation for his unique abilities.
As she scanned the crowd, her eyes landed on Rolien standing tall, his eyes locked onto Luke Arcadia, a young nobleman notorious for his family's powerful fire magic. Sophia's heart skipped a beat as she sensed the tension between them. With her royal gift of skill appraisal, she could see Rolien's status window, revealing his class as non-combatant. A wave of worry washed over her; Luke's family was known for their formidable magic, and she doubted Rolien stood a chance.
But before she could intervene, Rolien sprang into action. With swift and precise movements, he took down Luke and his friends without using any magic. Sophia watched in awe, her admiration for Rolien growing with each passing moment. His martial arts skills were impressive and precise, like he was anticipating their every move.
As a well-rounded martial artist, Rolien's abilities seemed to defy his non-combatant class. Sophia wondered if he had trained in various disciplines, including striking, grappling, and possibly even weapons training, similar to the approaches advocated by martial arts experts. His skill in taking down opponents without magic hinted at a deep understanding of combat mechanics.
With renewed interest, Sophia observed Rolien, her thoughts whirling with questions about his background and training. She decided to keep a closer eye on him, intrigued by the enigmatic young man who seemed to possess hidden depths. The gift in her hand still waited to be given, but now Sophia looked forward to learning more about Rolien's exceptional abilities.
