The rain grew heavier as Rayzen rode his motorcycle toward the abandoned building. Each second felt longer, and every turn of the wheel felt heavier. His heart was full of anxiety, but the anger that couldn't be contained made every step swift and purposeful—Alea.
He suddenly stopped the motorcycle as he arrived in front of the building, the tires skidding before it finally came to a halt. Without wasting any time, he jumped off and ran toward the entrance.
Inside, Finn and Jax were already waiting. Both looked anxious and slightly uncertain.
"Rayzen!" Finn called out as soon as he saw him. "She's in there—"
"Where?" Rayzen cut him off, his voice full of urgency.
"Inside," Finn replied quickly. "But—" he hesitated, "...we couldn't get closer. Selia's not here, but... she must still be around."
Rayzen didn't wait any longer. "I'm going in," he said coldly.
Finn nodded, stepping aside to let Rayzen pass. Jax, though hesitant, followed closely behind. The three moved quickly down the dimly lit hallway, their footsteps echoing in the silence.
When they reached the back room, Rayzen saw Alea sitting, bound to a chair, her face bruised and weary. Beside her were Finn and Jax, who had clearly been waiting for him. They looked at Rayzen with hope, but their faces showed the anxiety they were trying to hide.
Alea looked up at Rayzen, her eyes tired but there was a faint smile on her lips. "Rayzen..." she whispered softly.
Without saying a word, Finn immediately started untying Alea's hands, doing it gently and carefully. Jax stood near the door, his eyes alert, as if sensing something wasn't right.
"Finn, hurry," Rayzen said, his voice growing impatient.
Finn finally managed to free Alea's hands. "Alea, let's get you out of here," Finn whispered, trying to comfort her.
But before they could move further, the sound of footsteps echoed from down the hall. All eyes turned to the door that led to another room, and suddenly, Varek, Selia, and a few of their followers emerged from the room. They looked as though they had just finished something, and now they turned their attention to Rayzen and the others.
Varek glanced at Rayzen, his eyes full of hatred. "You're late, Rayzen," he said with a mocking smile.
Selia stood beside him, wearing the same sinister smile, while their followers stood in a threatening posture.
Rayzen stared at them with intense fury. "I'm getting Alea out of here alive. You won't stop us."
Varek just laughed coldly. "You can try."
Alea's life and Rayzen's fight were just beginning, and every second was growing tenser.
