chapter 3

Author's POV

Jack, the leader of the lacrosse team, felt extremely embarrassed, and this feeling spread to every single member of his team. His teammates were not at all pleased with the situation. They all stared at Akira intensely, with eyes full of anger and hunger, like a group of wolves preparing to attack.

Jack was really hurting after getting kicked. His face turned very pale, and you could see the pain in his eyes. He called Akira hurtful names and threatened revenge.

"You b*tch! You will pay for this" Jack said .

Akira replied sharply, her voice laced with sarcasm and a grin of triumph spreading across her face, "Perhaps another time, jerk! Oops, sorry, I mean Jack." Akira felt really good seeing Jack in so much pain because it felt like she had won something important.

Jack and his teammates shot furious glares at Akira, their eyes burning with intense hatred, as if they could pierce through her with their gaze. Feeling the weight of their hostility, Akira hurriedly left the school. She had to reach the pack house on time; otherwise, she'd endure torment as usual. To everyone in the pack house, Akira was just a slave. Without her wolf, they saw her as utterly useless.

Akira works non-stop, day and night, without taking breaks because it's the only way she can remain in the pack's living quarters. In the Blue Moon Pack, the rules are straightforward: if you haven't connected with your inner wolf yet, you're considered low in status. People view you as worthless because you can't fight in battles, so you're assigned to work in the pack's house and treated unfairly, almost like a slave.

"Akira! You filthy slave!" The harsh, angry voice cut through the air like a sharp knife, dripping with venom and contempt. The words seemed to hang heavily in the air, creating an icy, oppressive atmosphere around .

"Damn it!" Akira cursed silently to herself. Blair had appeared, and today was turning out to be less fortunate than hoped. "Here comes the biggest issue in my life," Akira muttered under her breath.

Blair wright is the number one bully at Wilder Academy. Blair thinks she rules the school, and in many ways, she does. As the daughter of an alpha and a member of the dominating pack, she believes her status gives her the right to do whatever she wants.

Blair doesn't miss a single chance to irritate and belittle Akira . Her presence is like a dark cloud, always looming, ready to rain down insults and torment. She struts through the hallways with an air of superiority, knowing that her powerful background allows her to get away with anything. Her constant need to assert her dominance makes her relentless in finding new ways to make Akira's life miserable.

Blair and her two followers, Ashley and Amber, were standing outside the school, eagerly awaiting Akira. Ashley and Amber, who are twin sisters, also happen to be the daughters of a powerful alpha . Since Akira had known them, they've always been inseparable from Blair, obediently following her every instruction, much like stray dogs faithfully following their master's lead.

"Who do you think you are, standing up against Jack?" Blair's voice dripped with scorn as she looked down at the girl before her. "You're just some orphan my father took in. You're nothing but a slave, and that's all you'll ever be."

Akira couldn't care less about what Blair thought of her. Blair was always spouting nonsense, but Akira was no longer affected by her words. As Blair continued with her usual nonsense, Akira couldn't help but notice her ridiculous outfit—pink really wasn't her color. Blair kept talking, gesticulating with her blonde hair , skinny arms and legs flailing about like a chicken.

Akira was fed up with Blair's constant teasing. She couldn't stand to hear Blair's voice anymore. "I'm tired of your teasing, Blair," Akira said, feeling increasingly annoyed. "Your opinion of me doesn't bother me at all," she added firmly.

" You filthy slave! How dare you speak to me like that?" Blair exclaimed angrily. She snatched the cup of soda that Ashley was sipping and emptied it over Akira.

Ashley and Amber burst into laughter, clearly enjoying Blair's actions against Akira.

"Good, she deserved that," Amber said.

"You're nothing compared to me," Blair said. "You're just a weak wolf, an orphan who relies on my family for food and clothes. You're a beggar who should always be grateful and obedient to me, and never think you're equal to me."

"Looking at her soaked clothes, Akira couldn't bear the humiliation. She had had enough of Blair's nonsense. Without a second thought, Akira snatched Amber's soft drink and poured it on Blair's face before walking away from them."

"Arrgh!" Blair screamed in frustration, her voice echoing through the school . She was utterly horrified as the drink splattered all over her, staining her precious clothes. Blair was a total neat freak, obsessively careful about keeping herself spotless and immaculate. The thought of having even a single stain on her outfit made her skin crawl. She glared at Akira, her eyes blazing with anger and disgust, as if the spill was a personal attack on her impeccable cleanliness.

"You're such a worthless slave!" Blair yelled. "How dare you do this to me ! You're in huge trouble, Akira! Do you remember what my father said? If you don't become a wolf by your 18th birthday, you'll be thrown out of our home and abandoned by the pack! And yet, you have the nerve to cross me, his own daughter! You're going to regret this, Akira. I'll make sure my father finds out about this and punishes you severely!"

Ashley and Amber's eyes widened in shock, their mouths hanging open in disbelief. They had never seen Akira stand up to anyone, let alone Blair, and they were stunned by her boldness. But they had no idea that this was only the start of the drama. As they tried to help clean up the mess on Blair's clothes, she furiously shoved them aside, her face red with rage. She then stormed after Akira, her voice piercing the air as she screamed insults and threats, her anger boiling over like a pot about to overflow.

"You can do whatever you want, spoiled little princess!" Akira spat, her words dripping with defiance. "Run along, go tattle to Daddy, see if I care! I'm not going to take your bullying lying down anymore. You think you're so special just because your father is the pack leader? Well, newsflash, Blair: you're not the queen of the world! I'm done being pushed around by you, and I'm standing up for myself, no matter what you do!" Akira's voice was firm, her eyes flashing with determination, as she finally found the courage to stand up to Blair's constant harassment.

Blair's face twisted in anger, she hurled a vicious insult at Akira, "You're a complete disgrace! A total tramp!" Her words were laced with venom, meant to cut deep and hurt. The air was electric with tension as Blair's anger boiled over, her eyes blazing with fury. The insult hung in the air like a challenge, a declaration of war.

Akira's body froze, her eyes flashing with anger, as she gazed at Blair with a fierce intensity. Her voice was laced with venom, "You're the one who's truly cheap, Blair! And everyone at Wilder Academy knows it – you're notorious for your questionable reputation! Rumors have been circulating about your loose behavior, and it's no secret that you're willing to do whatever it takes to get what you want!" Akira's words were a direct hit, aimed at Blair's fragile ego, and the air was thick with tension as the two girls engaged in a heated standoff.

Akira's words cut deep, her voice dripping with disgust and anger. "You're a hypocrite, Blair! You pretend to be innocent and pure, but behind closed doors, you're sleeping with multiple guys in the pack, playing them like pawns in your game of power and manipulation. Your double standards make me nauseous! You judge me, but you're the one who's truly tainted, with a heart full of deceit and a reputation that's nothing to be proud of." Akira's accusations hung in the air like a dark cloud, exposing Blair's hidden secrets and casting a shadow over her carefully crafted façade.

Blair's eyes grew wide with shock, her pupils dilating in disbelief, as if they were swallowing the light around her. Her gaze was frozen on Akira, her mind racing with questions. "How did she know? How did she uncover my darkest secrets? The things I've done, the things I've let happen, in the shadows of Wilder Academy?" Blair's thoughts were a jumbled mix of fear, panic, and shame, as she realized that her carefully constructed mask of purity and innocence had been shattered by Akira's bold accusations. The color drained from her face, leaving her skin pale and clammy, as she struggled to maintain her composure and find a way to salvage her tarnished reputation.

Akira's voice was firm and resolute, her words dripping with conviction. "Yes, Blair, I know all about your secret life, the one you've been desperate to keep hidden. And I'm not afraid to expose you for the fraud you are! I'll march right into the pack house and tell your father everything – the truth about your promiscuity, your manipulation, and your hypocrisy. I'll make sure he knows what kind of daughter he's really raised, and I'll watch as your perfect little world comes crashing down around you!" Akira's eyes blazed with determination, her jaw set in a fierce line, as she prepared to unleash the truth and bring Blair's reign of deceit to an end.

Blair's voice was low and menacing, her words dripping with a warning. "No, you wouldn't dare," she hissed, her eyes flashing with a fierce intensity. Her gaze was like a cold blade, slicing through the air and pinning Akira with a silent threat. Her lips were pursed, her face pale with rage, as she struggled to maintain control. The air around her seemed to vibrate with tension, as if she was a coiled spring ready to snap at any moment. The warning was clear: "Don't even think about crossing me, Akira. I'll ruin you if you try."
