A quiet, busy day.

24 hours prior, before the troops left the Kingdom of Prosperity, King Lance secretly asked for a private conversation with his General, Levi. 

"What's with all the secrecy my King?" 

"Just ensuring no unwelcomed ears hear what I'm going to ask of you." 

"What is it? We've known each other since we were kids, rose up the ranks together and you were made King for your accomplishments during the war." 

"I don't want you to harm any innocent elves and if they surrender, allow them to. If King Charles crosses any lines, make sure to return to tell me. Don't risk our men's lives over others' ineptitude."

"Sounds good. I know Charles and Igor are ruthless and aim to persecute all elves, but I admire your compassion and wish for a world of equality."

"That's the dream. Hopefully, one day, I'm able to speak to someone of the Fang family and have an unsung truce."

"That would be nice. Well, my men should be ready by now, I'll see you soon Lance."

With a giant hug from Lance, he said, "I'll see you soon too, Levi."

Sora and Mina both woke up in the middle of the night to a strange dream. 

In the dream, Vigor, the Demon King they killed months ago, appeared. 

"Please, for everyone, in every era and every realm, please kill the god of Darkness." 

Sora looked at Mina, and for the first time, both of their blue eyes illuminated. 

"Ding! You have unlocked both of your eyes. Reward: 250 experience. Congratulations, you are now level 6. 

New Quest: Reach level 7 to unlock more secrets of your system. 0/2000 experience. 

New Quest: Learn why your eyes illuminate. Reward: Unlock your true potential."

Mina snuck over to Sora's bed, moving cautiously to not wake anyone. 

"Did you dream about Vigor repeating his message about killing the god of darkness?"

"Yes... and the eye thing, we should ask Themis when we return to Sanctuary." 

"Good idea. That was just… weird," Mina said and crept back to her bed. They both fell asleep quickly. 

The next morning, Xavier woke up first. He simply opened the makeshift door, above the slope and walked outside to a beautiful sunrise. 

"These will never get old. It's so beautiful, but I must get to work," he thought. 

Xavier started by examining the Castle, and to his surprise, the humans kept it neat and organized. The Castle at MeadowSong was not nearly the size of Sanctuary, but it could hold 10,000 people without any problems. 

Xavier started by creating large, wooden crates and began throwing all the human's things in. If he needed assistance lifting anything, he'd use wood magic to lift the item into the crate. 

After clearing out over 200 rooms, he noticed sweat pouring from his brow and realized he spent much longer than he anticipated in the Castle. 

As he walked outside, he couldn't believe his eyes. 

Stefania taught Sora and Mina the creation spell, 'Creatio ex Nature,' and the three of them had built several houses along the western Kingdoms wall. They also created a street, and were in the process of creating the adjacent houses. 

"Ding! You have learned a new Fang Bloodline spell [legendary] 

Skill: Creatio ex Nature: You are able to create and manipulate matter of the Earth to build, design and craft."

Despite being simple in nature, the twins already felt fatigue from using the spell, so the three of them enjoyed Xavier's warm welcome.

"What a lovely town you three started. Sora, Mina, I'm sure Stefania told you, but take pride in that spell. It comes from our ancestors and something we don't use to harm others with." Xavier said. 

"Thanks, Stefania deserves the credit here, she's done most of the work. This spell drains us quickly," the twins told Xavier. 

"Ah, yes. Just as I needed to take leave after successfully casting Fangs of Fate for the first time."

"General Xavier! Scout returning, please open the gates!" Eric shouted from the top of the Kingdom's walls. 

The gate required two people to open it, so Sora and Xavier quickly went to each side and pulled the unlocking mechanism. 

The gate opened slowly and after the scout charged in on horseback, Sora and Xavier pushed the locking mechanism back into place, and the gates shut with a giant thud. 

"Hello General Xavier, Princess and twins. Over 100,000 humans march this way and are approaching the first set of our traps. Still no sign of underground movement, but it looks as if the Kingdom of Prosperity is assisting King Charles and his army," the scout said. 

"Are they mad? 100,000?!" Stefania said while shaking her head. 

"I stand corrected about my comment last night to not use the Barrier of Justice. I don't understand Prosperity's involvement. General Levi and King Lance never target civilian elves," Xavier said while rubbing his chin. 

"I hate to break up your conversations, your majesties but they're about 15 miles from the first set of traps. Assuming they rest overnight, they will arrive around noon tomorrow," the scout said. 

"Thank you and what is your name brave soldier?" Xavier asked. 

"Name's Taylor, but my friends call me Swift."

"Well Taylor, it's nice to meet you," Xavier said. 

"Aye, but you are all welcome to call me Swift. Can you open the gate so I can get back out?"

Sora and Mina had an idea, and the two of them used their new spell, Creatio ex Nature. On the Kingdom's wall, next to the gate, a hole with an archway, just big enough for Swift to leave through appeared. He took his leave and the twins closed it using the same spell. 

"Looks like we won't always have to blow the wall down to get out now. Good thinking you two," Stefania said with a smile. 

"Agreed. Also, please follow me. I'd like to show you what I've been working on in the Castle," Xavier said. 

The four of them walked into the castle and immediately noticed Xavier recreated the MeadowSong banner, which hung from the ceiling. 

The banner was large, teal in color with a meadow and three, Magenta musical notes on it. One note was to the left of the meadow, lower than the middle one, which was on the meadow, and one to the right of the meadow, where the musical note was above the middle one. It was a simple, yet beautiful design. 

"I can't wait to bring Raina home. She deserves to see this beautiful sight with all of the elves she returned to Sanctuary with," Stefania said with a large smile. 

Xavier showed them the crates and explained when more elves arrived, he would like to have the Castle completely refurbished and decorated for Raina's return. 

"What do you plan on doing with those large crates?" Sora asked. 

"Once I use some magic to get them outside, I will burn them, outside of the Castle's walls," Xavier said proudly. 

"Hey don't leave us out of the fun! I'm sure Eva would love to show off her fire power," Sora said. 

"Plus it would be good for Sora and me to learn fire magic," Mina said. 

"We will all have our shot at fun, once this battle is over with," Xavier said. 

"It's weird isn't it? Standing around, renovating our lost Kingdom without a worry as 100,000 humans come to attack," Stefania. 

"Indeed it is, Sora and I will bait them in by standing right at the 48 yard mark," Mina said. 

"I'm sure the King will address us, as well as General Levi. But as we retreat, I agree, it would be best for you two to have them charge you," Xavier said.

The four heard a bell ring, and immediately rushed outside. 

"Sorry, didn't mean to cause panic but I didn't know where anyone was. Swift is back, he reported the humans setup camp for the night about 2 miles from our initial traps. That means they're 7 miles away," Eric yelled. 

"Give him our thanks and make sure he uses a good cover. No need to lose one of our scouts," Xavier yelled back. 

"Well, I guess we should call it a night. Has anyone seen Jax or Eva?" Mina asked, while stretching and yawning. 

"It's their anniversary, so they returned to Sanctuary and will return tomorrow," Xavier said. 

"Well, let's hope we have a ton of humans fall into our traps. Eva and Jax will return with approximately 1,000 archers," Stefania said. 

"Sounds good. Why didn't you tell us, it's not a big deal. It just seems strange you wouldn't tell us something routine like that," Mina asked with a worried look. 

Sora mirrored the worried look and thought, "I was going to ask the same question." 

Stefania laughed and put her arms around Sora and gave him a kiss. 

"Eva and Jax didn't want attention for their anniversary and you two would have given them attention." 

"Plus you should know me well enough to know I only share the essentials," Xavier said with a smile. 

"Oh, ok. Well let's go rest up. Tomorrow the battle begins!" Mina said emphatically.
