Chapter 6

After Mira introduced us to the new Allies, it was time for us to train to get stronger.

Marco, My friend who flirts with every girl he sees and get hit by them a lot, had a fist fighter class but he used a metal gloves in his hands, he trained with Yone, Gerald and Yarelia.

Maya, Since she is a cleric she trained with Nora and Aliera on the skills that can save our lives and trying to improve them.

Meva, who is a Gunslinger, she fights using two guns, she trained along with Aaron and jumana.

I sat from afar watching them train, then Ash approached me.

Ash: Why don't we train as well?

Kota: you want to train with me? Would it be more useful for you to ask someone else who is strong enough to train with you?

Ash: it would be, but I want to see how strong you grew, and how did you save everyone and also possibly, make you stronger.

Kota: fine, how do you want us to train?

Ash: A Duel, Just like how we used to fight as siblings!!

Kota: Seriously? If that's the cause then what are we waiting??

Everyone left the fighting arena and stood aside to watch the spar between me and my brother.

Hunter 1: An E rank wants to fight An A rank, did he lose his mind?

Hunter 2: That will be fun to watch!!

Luicid: Shut up, the Two of you Now!!

Hunter: Commander!!!, Sorry to disturb…

Me and Ash stood in the arena, Him with his scythe as his class was reaper, while I stood on the other side with my black katana.

Then suddenly we both lunged toward each other, At first Ash was holding back with me and then slowly the fight became more and more intense.

We both were moving on the same rythym, Dodging and attacking, While fighting we both were smiling like crazy people.

What I couldn't believe is how I was able to keep up with him, despite being weaker and him who stopped holding back was surprised as well.

Everyone: How come an E rank can fight like this?

Kota: Sha… shall we end this???

Ash: s… S… Sure.

We Both lunged toward each other and with all our force we swung our weapons as if we trying to take each other's life yet the smile never left our faces.

Then suddenly before the impact, Marco Stepped between us.

Marco: ENOUGH!!!

Marco: Are you two trying to kill each other?

Ash(while smiling): looks like we dived too much into the fight.

Yarelia then rushed toward us, And started scolding us.

Yarelia: Ash, That's your brother what were you thinking???

Then Yarelia faced me and Punched me on the head.

Yarelia: And you, Why were you fighting recklessly like that? What if you got hurt??

Kota: I am sorry…..

Yarelia sighed and Luicid didn't say a word but he left the room after Marco stopped me and Ash.

Mira then approached

Mira: Well, It was a really great battle, To see your instincts with my own eyes, Kota you really are impressive.

Kota: Thank you, Mira.

Mira: Alright enough training, Let's Have a party at my house tonight, Everyone should come!!!

Mira: Including your family Kota, I want to meet them.

I looked at Ash then toward Mira again

Kota: Sure, Why not!!

Later that night

Everyone, arrived at the large mansion which was Mira's house, the house she lives in with her husband, Luicid.

Of course, Luicid didn't attend, he stayed in the association to finish some paper works, Well, that's expected from the Cold North Duke.

Everyone arrived in beautiful clothes, Dresses and some even wore suits.

I arrived along with my family, My mom , Hazel and Ash.

My Mom spent time with the guests, Hazel Met with the girls and spent time with them, for Ash well, I didn't know where did he go.

I Noticed that Yarelia was not among the crowd,

(From Here Yarelia is talking)

I stood in the balcony, When I heard a familiar voice approaching me,

???: Yarelia, my beautiful flower, Why are you here all by yourself.

Then that person placed his hands on me, he tried to hug me from behind but i pushed him away and saw him..

Yarelia: Kota, What are you doing, Stay away..

???: I saw how beautiful you are in this silver dress, I couldn't resist, Come with me Yarelia, I will take you to somewhere better than this lame party.

Then he started getting closer toward me and just when he was about to place his hands one me.

Someone Came and Punched him in the Face.

(Kota is Talking again from here)

I searched for Yarelia and found her at the balcony but she was with someone, who looked like me.

He tried to get closer to her, I rushed and punched him away.

Kota: Stay away, Doppelganger…

Twin: You are the Doppelganger, You are fake, You always have been, Yarelia, My beautiful flower, Come to me.

Yarelia started to back off and moved toward me, She knew for sure this man I punched was not me.

Kota: Try a different trick, Your mask is already broken.

What made me surprised is the white part I saw behind the mask, it was familiar but I didn't know what It was.

The Twin covered the white part and said:  If she won't come to me with her own will, then next time, I'll take her.

The Twin then jumped from the balcony and when we turned to look at him we found no trace of him at all.

Yarelia: what? Who was that? Wait who are you? Stay away….

Kota: Yarelia, calm down I know you are afraid but it's me, Kota your friend.

Yarelia: How do I know? Prove it, If you are really Kota then prove it.

Kota: You wanted to make your family proud by getting married and now you regret not doing that.

Yarelia: Wait what how do you know that????

Kota: I uh…..

I sighed

Kota: I am a time traveler.

Yarelia: What? Stop joking, Kota…

Kota: it's not a joke, Yarelia.

Yarelia: But that's impossible!!!

Kota: We are inside a Novel, Everything is possible you know.

Yarelia: But, How do you do that?

Kota: Death!

Once the word left my mouth, I saw the fear in her eyes.

Yarelia: D—Death!!!!

Kota: Yes, Everytime I die, I return in time to last point I slept in, The battle instincts Mira mentioned I have was the results of me dying twice.

Kota: I watched you all die… and I died twice trying to stop it. I just couldn't let it happen again, and managed to save everyone from the goblins.

Kota: And your regret of not getting married, you told me that in the first loop when you were catching your last breath.

Yarelia: I died????

Kota: Twice!, It was hard to watch, But luckily I managed to prevent it from happening a third time.

Yarelia: Have you told anyone yet??

Kota: Not yet, Now isn't the right time.

Yarelia: Alright, I—I believe you, Even though I still have my doubts but I will believe you, I know you wouldn't lie to me.

Kota(Blushing): Th—Thanks..

Yarelia: And we will find a way out of this novel, Without having you to die multiple times for us, Okay?

Kota (With a Smile all over the face): Yeah! Definitely!!!

We looked at the midnight sky, But I couldn't stop taking glimpse at her, Someone who understands me, someone who believes me blindly like that, is someone I would die for hundred times.

(Inside the room of the balcony, Ash was seen standing, and heard everything but he didn't move toward us, He closed his fists firmly, to the point where they started bleeding)

Ash To Himself: You are carrying such burden, in this age...
