Today was a different day. After bottling up this unpleasant feeling, I finally managed to let it out. I'm done. Tomorrow is my last day with them. Unnoticed, I fell into a deep sleep after keeping watch over the Queen for a while. The sunlight began to shine into the room, illuminating my face. I guess it's morning.
"Ugh, it's already morning!" I slowly opened my eyes, letting the morning light fill the room. I stretched my body, raised my hands, and rotated my neck to relieve the stiffness. Unbeknownst to me, I wasn't in my usual bed. I had been moved to a larger and more comfortable room with elegant furniture and soft colors.
I walked slowly and began to open the door gently, making my way to the Queen's chamber. I tried to open the door quietly, and to my surprise, the Queen was still fast asleep like before. However, I also saw Isabella and others taking my place, accompanying the Queen by her side.
My thoughts drifted back to my previous intentions. Without wasting any more time, I quickly left them without hesitation. I thought this was the best way so they wouldn't feel too empty. I had prepared everything beforehand. I just needed to hurry out and leave their house.
Some time later, I was far away from their house. But I had a rather troublesome problem. In front of me was the exit, a long bridge. Every step I took on it would make a loud noise. With no other choice, I had to control the roots around me to help me walk across the bridge. After a tiring effort, I finally crossed the long bridge without waking up the guards.
The exit door was almost within reach; I just needed a few more steps. Now, I was right in front of the final gate, and its sound would be loud and harsh. I tried to push one side of the gate with all my might, but it wasn't enough. I made the ground beneath the gate tremble to open it.
Unexpectedly, the sound of wings flapping loudly echoed behind me. "Where do you think you're going, Young Master?" Footsteps approached closer and closer. I couldn't deny it anymore; I realized with a sense of despair. The Queen already knew what I was doing, and I couldn't deny it.
