Ethan's eyes were bloodshot, his gaze intense with fury.
He clenched his fist, repeatedly pounding it against the white wall before him.
Even as his skin split and blood flowed freely, he refused to stop, as if he couldn't feel the pain at all.
However, even this wasn't enough to purge the sorrow and regret that filled his heart.
It wasn't until nightfall that his emotions began to gradually settle.
He pulled out his phone and dialed his assistant:
"I'm giving you one hour. I want you to find out everything that happened to my wife from the moment she left the courthouse until now!"
"The more detailed, the better!"
"Use every resource under my name if that's what it takes to uncover everything that transpired."
With that, Ethan abruptly hung up.
He then dialed another number:
"I hear your uncle is the world's most renowned lung cancer specialist. I'm willing to give up 40% of Stratton Group's shares if you can get him to return to the States tomorrow."
