Chapter 7

There, I met Rockefeller.

I never knew there could be someone so like-minded in this world.

We discussed experiments and analyzed data.

Our conversations ranged from gene sequencing to the mysteries of life.

That feeling of spiritual connection made me fall hard, and we quickly fell in love.

Even more remarkably, the Rockefeller family never judged me for my background.

They respected my research and supported my dreams.

Rockefeller said:

"Serenity, I love you completely for who you are."

"Your intelligence, your character, everything about you."

"In this life, I only want to walk side by side with you in the lab."

So, without hesitation, I married him.

Come to think of it, I haven't seen him since I finished my experiment.

I took my daughter's hand, preparing to leave.

Zoran suddenly blocked our way:

"Serenity! Are you out of your mind?"

"You'd go as far as getting married and having a child just to provoke me?"
