Chapter 5

That night, we packed what little we needed. Ravenna, Evie, and Vae took one last look at the house they had called home for three years.

We set out at dawn. I rode with Ravenna, sitting behind her on her horse, my arms wrapped tightly around her waist. The rhythmic gallop of the horse made my breasts jiggle with each movement. It was distracting, to say the least.

We passed through dense forests first, the fresh air rushing through my hair. It felt incredible when the wind whipped past my face. I was wearing my fake elf ears, so there was no need to cover myself with the hood.

I watched as we passed through farms, towns, cities and even smaller settlements, seeing elves, beastkin, and other races going about their lives. Some villages were peaceful. Others were quiet.

Finally, by the end of noon, we reached the capital, Velmoria

As we approached the gates, Ravenna and the others prepared me for what to expect.

"Elves in this country follow a matriarchal system," Ravenna explained as we rode closer. "Queen Lyshara rules over the entire kingdom, supported by a council of elven women who help decide the laws. Many noble houses hold influence and serve as vassals, ruling over some cities or villages, but ultimately, all power belongs to the queen."

The city's massive stone walls loomed before us. Guards stood at attention as we approached, but the moment they recognized Ravenna and the others, their expressions shifted.

"Well, well," one of them said, smirking. "Look who's back. It's been years, Ravenna."

Another guard chuckled. "What happened? Did you finally give up on that ridiculous prophecy of yours?"

I saw Ravenna's jaw tighten, but she said nothing. Evie and Vae remained silent as well, their eyes downcast.

One of the guards scoffed, eyeing Evie and Vae with open mockery. "And you two, wasting your lives chasing after a madwoman's delusions. I almost feel sorry for you."

I wanted to say something, wanted to call out their mockery, but I had promised to keep my presence hidden until I met the queen. So, I bit my tongue and let them lead the way inside.

The capital was bustling with life. Streets lined with merchants selling goods, people draped in flowing silks, children laughing as they played. Caravans moved in and out of the gates. I spotted races I recognized, elves, beastkin, orcs, and others that were entirely new to me.

We went straight to the palace. Ravenna had sent a letter to the palace a few days earlier, asking to meet the queen and she was granted the permission.

The guards didn't stop us, but they didn't welcome us either. Instead, they laughed as we passed, their words sharp and hurtful.

And it was not just men but women guards too. "Still clinging to that ridiculous prophecy?"

Another chuckled. "Maybe she finally found her 'messiah.'" His gaze flicked to Evie and Vae. "And you two are still with her?"

I glanced at the women beside me. They didn't respond, but I could feel the tension in their bodies, the way their jaws tightened.

We dismounted and were led inside, passing through the grand halls until we reached a heavy wooden door. One of the guards knocked and waited. The room beyond was locked from the inside, standard practice when the queen and her council held discussions. After a few moments, the door swung open.

Inside, queen Lyshara sat at the head of a long table, surrounded by her council. Their conversation quieted as we entered. For a moment, she simply studied us, then a slow, amused smile curled her lips.

"It has been years, Ravenna," she said. "I got your message, you said you wanted to discuss something important."

Ravenna stood tall. "Your Majesty," she said, bowing slightly, "I have returned because I have found the cure for mana imbalance. The Messiah has arrived."

Silence.

Some of the council women exchanged skeptical glances, a few shaking their heads. One of them, an older elf, leaned back in her chair, almost laughing.

"You expect us to believe this?" the older elf said. "That after years of chasing myths, you've finally found your so-called savior?"

Lyshara rested her chin on her hand. "And where is this Messiah of yours?"

Ravenna turned to me.

The room tensed. I could feel their eyes scanning my features, their sharp gazes landing on my ears as I removed the fake ears.

A councilwoman scoffed. "Some demi-elves have human-like ears. That doesn't mean this woman is the Messiah."

I had expected doubt. But seeing the way they mocked Ravenna, the way they dismissed her, I felt something stir inside me.

Without hesitation, I reached for my belt.

The room gasped as I pulled my shirt over my head, then stripped away my trousers. I could feel their stares, their growing unease, but I didn't stop. I unclasped my bra. Then slid my panties down.

And then, I stood before them, fully exposed.

I stepped forward, walking closer to the queen. I let them see. Let them understand.

"You see, Your Majesty," I said, voice even. "Like the prophecy claimed, I am neither a man nor fully a woman."

Silence.

Every pair of eyes in the room was locked on me. But even now, some of them clung to their skepticism. One councilwoman cleared her throat, forcing herself to look away. "Even if this is true, how can we believe it? There is no proof other than her body. Has she cured anyone yet?"

Ravenna's hands curled into fists. "You want more proof?" she demanded. "You want to see if her essence will really cure the illness?"

Another scoffed. "I assure you, no woman will agree to lie with her to test it. Not a single one."

Ravenna's voice was firm when she answered. "Then I will."

The room stilled again. Even Evie and Vae turned to her in shock.

Ravenna lifted her chin. "I will lay with Lady Ayra. I will be the first woman to receive her seed, and you will see that the prophecy is true. You will see that her essence will cure the people."

One of the council members snorted. "Then we shall see," she said. "Whether this woman you brought is truly the Messiah, or just a monstrosity of nature."

Vae moved first, gathering my clothes and handing them to me.

Evie and Ravenna helped me dress as well.

When we left the council chamber, Ravenna's eyes were red, but she didn't let a single tear fall.

Ravenna's old home was tucked away in a quieter part of the city. It wasn't much, just a modest house with a small courtyard.

Vae and Evie settled in quickly, dropping their bags before heading to the market to gather supplies. I stayed behind with Ravenna, helping her dust off furniture and shake out old blankets.

Ravenna sat down heavily on a wooden chair, pressing the heels of her hands into her eyes, groaning. "Ugh!"

I could sense the frustration in her voice.

I stepped closer. "Ravenna?"

"I've heard those insults for years," she whispered. "Everywhere I went, every time I spoke of the prophecy, they mocked me. I tried to be strong, for Evie and Vae, for they believed in me. No matter what people say,no matter how much they try to break me, I won't break so easily. But now—" Her voice cracked. "But now, I can't take it anymore."

I wrapped my arms around her, pulling her against me. She stiffened for only a moment before sinking into the embrace, and wrapped her arms around me.

"It's going to be alright," I whispered. "I'm here now. We'll prove them all wrong."

She sighed, resting the side of her face against my breasts. For a long moment, neither of us spoke.

Then, I asked. "Ravenna… do you really want to lay with me? Or are you doing this just to prove yourself right?"

She lifted her head, meeting my gaze. "I do want to lay with you," she admitted, voice softer now. "I won't lie. I find you attractive." A beat of silence passed before she added, almost shyly, "But… I'm a virgin." It was quite rare to see her blush.

I exhaled a short laugh. "I've never had sex either. Not even in my previous life."

Ravenna blinked in surprise before letting out a small, nervous laugh of her own. Gosh, she looked so beautiful. I could stare at her all day.

Then, before I could overthink it, I leaned down and kissed her.

She froze, just for a second, before melting into it. Her lips were soft, and she pressed back with confidence.

When we finally pulled away, my cheeks were burning. "Tonight," she whispered, "we'll have dual cultivation or in simpler language, we'll fuck."

Excitement thrummed through me as I kissed her again. I was really going to lose my virginity tonight.
