“Come back, Lily. I’m not done talking to you.” Grey said sternly, following behind me, but I was still overcome with rage and I quickened my pace.
“Go to hell, Grey.” I spat furiously without a backward glance and made a beeline straight to the dining area where I knew he won’t make a scene.
The dining area buzzed with more customers. I abruptly welcomed the newly arrived customers and ushered them to their seats. All the while, I could feel Grey following my every move. I didn’t look in his direction, not even once, until he and Natalia rose from their chairs.
