“I haven’t told Grey about the pregnancy.” Natalia sighed, “We had a fight yesterday and I haven’t told him the news yet, but I’m sure he’ll be happy once he hears the news.”
Silence lapsed between us. I had nothing to say, so I kept my mouth shut. Inwardly, I kept wishing our conversation would end soon.
“I hope our child will be a boy. I want to name him Dylan, too.” Natalia mumbled as her dainty fingers caressed her flat tummy.
My cheeks instantly turned red with fury. My fingers curled into a ball as I suppressed the urge not to smack her in the face for bringing up my son’s name. Her intention to name her child Dylan was an insult to me as a mother who lost her firstborn.
“I didn’t come with you just to insult me, Miss Romani.” I warned her. “Since you already told me about your pregnancy, I don’t want to stay anymore.” I added with chilling civility and without a trace of emotion on my face now.
