Chapter 54 YOU\'RE FIRED

“I’m not leaving the hotel unless it was Grey himself who tells me I’m fired.” I replied in the softest voice I could muster while fighting her gaze. The moment I saw her, I knew there’s going to be trouble. My intuition was right. Elizabeth had always been the villain in my life. If I’m in a fairytale, I would be Cinderella and she'll be the evil witch. It suits her in that role, knowing how viscous she is.

As though she’s unable to take my gaze longer, Elizabeth looked away.

“You don’t need to hear it from Grey, Ms. De Silva. I’m the officer in charge now, and I’m firing you.” She cast a sharp glance in my direction before her eyes returned to the document she’s holding in her hand.

“You can’t dismiss an employee without a valid reason. I can sue the company for it.”

Elizabeth forced herself to look at me again. She pressed her lips tightly into a thin line and glared at me in exasperation. “I know that. I have a valid reason to fire you.” She informed me.
